As a German, I wish for a president like that for our country. Clear, strong, to the people!

Clearly, he’s not the brightest ??‍♀️

Really a very good and clear speech. But unfortunately I don't think MAGAs will be able to follow it.

Let’s get this clear - This is not about hurting Canada with Tariff. This is all part of Trump’s plan to create panic, confusion and frustration to the American people to make us weak so he can sell us to PUTIN. The tariff to Canada, Mexico and China; his immigration racist decisions to target Latinos; the way he and Vance attacked to president Zaleski and firing federal employes is just ALL Part of a plan to create confusion, so while we scratch our head, he allied with PUTIN.

Trumps own words, “Vote for me, you will never have to vote again!” \nThis one is showing up on several pages. Make up your own mind. \nThere is something rancid in America, a slow, creeping rot that smells like cold McDonald’s fries, aerosol hairspray, and the unmistakable musk of a country too sedated to recognize its own hostage situation. For years, the idea that Donald Trump was compromised by Russia was dismissed as paranoid fantasy—just another wild-eyed conspiracy theory, another overblown headline in the endless saga of American political dysfunction. \nBut now, two former Soviet intelligence officers—Alnur Mussayev and Yuri Shvets—are saying it outright: Trump was recruited by the KGB in 1987, groomed as an asset, and remains under Russian control to this day. \nAnd the worst part? He’s already back in the White House. \nThat’s right, America. You did it. You walked face-first into the banana peel of history, slipped, and fell straight into the arms of Vladimir Putin. Trump was kicked out in 2020, spent four years plotting his comeback, and now he’s returned, like a bloated, orange cockroach that just won’t die. The Kremlin’s favorite stooge is running the country again, and this time, he knows exactly how to stay in power. \nIf you think this is just another round of the Trump Show, you’re not paying attention. This isn’t politics anymore. This is treason. This is foreign subversion. This is a God forsaken coup in slow motion. \nLet’s break it down, nice and simple. \nAlnur Mussayev isn’t some Twitter conspiracy theorist with a tinfoil hat and a podcast. He’s the former head of Kazakhstan’s National Security Committee, which means he knows exactly how Russian intelligence works—because he was part of the system. And what he’s saying should make every American’s blood run cold. \nAccording to Mussayev, Trump was identified, recruited, and compromised by the KGB in 1987 during his first trip to Moscow. They saw him for what he was: a narcissistic, greedy, attention-starved buffoon who could be easily manipulated. The KGB flattered him, promised him business deals, and planted the seeds of political ambition in his empty little head. And from that moment on, he was their man. \nBut Mussayev isn’t alone. Former KGB major Yuri Shvets said the exact same thing in 2021: Trump was cultivated by Soviet intelligence because he was an easy mark—too stupid to realize he was being played, too egotistical to care. They saw him as a useful idiot—a man who could one day be nudged into power, a walking, talking Trojan Horse for Russian interests. \nAnd now? The plan has worked. Trump spent four years in office weakening America from within, got booted out, and now he’s back for round two. \nIf you had told the American public in 1962 that a Soviet-backed asset would one day sit in the White House, they would have burned Washington to the ground before letting it happen. But today? Nobody seems to care. \nThe media treats this like just another wacky subplot in the never-ending Trump reality show. Congress is too busy fighting over meaningless culture war nonsense to do anything about it. And the American public? Exhausted. Numb. Checked out. Years of scandals—Russia collusion, Ukraine blackmail, classified documents, tax fraud, sexual assault, an attempted coup—have fried the country’s brain like an overcooked steak at Mar-a-Lago. \nTrump has done the impossible. He has committed so many crimes, so openly, so brazenly, that none of them matter anymore. \nAnd now, with Mussayev’s revelation that Trump is an active foreign asset, we have finally reached the point where the biggest political scandal in American history is met with a collective shrug. \nThis is how democracy dies—not with a bang, but with a goddamn eye-roll. \nThis is the part where the skeptics start clutching their pearls. “Oh, come on,” they say. “If Trump were really a Russian asset, wouldn’t there be more proof?” \nTo which I say: Are you blind, or just willfully stupid? \nLet’s go through the evidence, shall we? \nTrump spent his entire first term doing exactly what Russia wanted. He attacked NATO, calling it “obsolete” and threatening to pull the U.S. out. He tried to blackmail Ukraine into manufacturing dirt on Joe Biden, because weakening Ukraine helps one man and one man only: Vladimir Putin. He pulled U.S. troops out of Syria, handing power over to Russian forces. He picked fights with Canada and Europe while cozying up to dictators. \nEven now, in his second term, he is more openly pro-Putin than ever. He has made it clear that he will not protect NATO allies from Russian aggression. He is actively dismantling America’s alliances, just as Russia planned. And while Americans scream at each other over whether Target should sell rainbow t-shirts, Trump is quietly selling the country to the Kremlin. \nAt some point, you have to stop calling it a coincidence and start calling it what it is: treason. \nThe United States is running out of time. If Trump serves out this term without being removed, America as a functioning democracy is finished. \nThe media needs to wake up. Enough with the “Trump fatigue” excuse. This is not just another scandal—this is the single greatest infiltration of American power in history. Journalists need to dig into Mussayev’s claims, demand declassification of intelligence files, and treat this like the national emergency that it is. \nCongress needs to subpoena Mussayev immediately. His testimony must be public, and every document he has should be reviewed. If there is proof that Trump has been compromised since the 1980s, the American people need to know. \nThe Justice Department needs to stop pretending that Trump is just another politician. If there is evidence that the sitting president of the United States is working in Russia’s interests, he must be removed from office and prosecuted for espionage. \nAnd the American public? You have one last chance. This is not about Republican vs. Democrat. This is not about taxes, gas prices, or whatever nonsense outrage is dominating the news today. This is about whether the United States remains a sovereign nation, or if we spend the rest of the century as a Russian client state with a golf course. \nThe sheer volume of Trump's corruption, the blatant nature of his crimes, the mountain of evidence that should have ended his political career a hundred times over—none of it mattered. He survived it all, not because he was innocent, but because he drowned the country in so much scandal that nothing stuck. \nBut this time, it’s different. If Mussayev and Shvets are right, this isn’t just another chapter in the endless Trump circus. This is the culmination of a decades-long Russian intelligence operation to install an asset in the White House. \nThere is no coming back from this. If America lets Trump serve out this term without removing him, then the United States as a democratic republic is finished. The country won’t collapse overnight. There won’t be tanks in the streets. Instead, the destruction of democracy will happen in slow motion—buried under lawsuits, propaganda, and corruption so blatant that people stop caring. \nIf America lets this happen—if Trump is allowed to complete his mission—then Putin wins. The West crumbles. And the people who could have stopped it will look back, years from now, and wonder how they let it happen. \nGood night, and good luck. Because if people don’t wake up, America is going to sleepwalk straight into its own funeral.

Holy shit!!! \nElena, he did NOT use harsh language\nJust clear and firm response. \nDon’t put your perceptions to manipulate the message!!
2025-03-04 0
This just shows you how desperate and scared Canada is. We don’t need anything from Canada. This just clearly shows that without America Canada is nothing.
2025-03-04 0
General Clark is baffled by Trump's strategy. How it doesn't make any sense to alienate our allies and isolate ourselves. To destroy our economy and internal workings.\n\nBut it becomes crystal clear if you accept the fact that Trump is serving Putin. He is Putin's asset. \n\nTrump's actions prove it.
2025-03-04 0
Watched the whole speech on Canadian news. This is what a real leader sounds like....an actual , intelligent adult.\nTrump has made it very clear he is working for Putin to destroy America in every way possible. Those who\nvoted for him, and still support him are absolute idiots.

We can clearly see the different between a very bright and smart leader and the most illiterate president of the usa
2025-03-04 0
trudeau the best...trumps third party interference is not necessary...team trump needs to go on a diet...trumps security should be working at the borders and in the communities to remove dangerous substances and get them the meds they need....team trump are clearly terrorists....demand a re election...\nthanks for the report...

If the liberals actually cared what was going on in Canada, they wouldn’t have prorogued parliament leaving us in effective in dealing with these tariffs. All these liberals do is virtue signal. It is very clear that they have their own parties agenda as a priority and us peasants can endure.
2025-03-04 0
Why do we call Trump the president of the United States when he is clearly a Kremlin agent?
2025-03-04 0
Canadian president is so much better than the American one! Clear, articulate, smart, decisive, and with his country’s citizens interests at heart.
2025-03-04 0
It is clear now that Russia has something on Trump. He is a Russia mouthpiece. It is called an asset.
2025-03-04 0
Smart man!!! He speaks nicely, clearly... and he speaks TWO languages good for you!!! Smart then his neighbor ???

I never thought I would be more supportive of a government imposing tariffs on us than my own government, but hey Trump aligning the US with Putin and starting unnecessary and harmful trade wars with our allies is moronic and treasonous. The GOP used to be the party of free trade. That was literally their main plank for 40 years, and an idiot comes along who doesn't understand basic facts, such as how tariffs work, imposes them willynilly and vindictively, and the spine-challenged Congress rolls over without so much as a whimper. Meanwhile, an illegal immigrant from South Africa fires the people looking after our nuclear weapons, because he's also an idiot. And their fans lap up their clear treasonous acts.
2025-03-04 0
Thank you Prime Minister Trudeau for your clear words!
2025-03-04 0
No winners in a trade war? The people who wouldn't die in a real war are the winners. The poor. The poor are the winners. Let's be clear you're lobbying for war! Dress it up all you like anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together is going to figure it out. This information brought to you by BlackRock

Let's be fucking clear here; much more fentanyl is coming into Canada from the US than vice versa.
2025-03-04 0
What are you talking aboot eh buddy! We can buy American. You clearly don't know what is going on and just what a new Golden Age means. ???
2025-03-04 0
Why is anyone surprised. It was made clear during the campaigning this was what he would do and YOU the legacy press decided to either ignore or normalise his behaviour. So don’t be surprised or feign shock you in part have created this!
2025-03-04 0
He's talking slowly and clearly hoping that Trump will understand. I have doubts.
2025-03-04 0
It is abundantly clear trying to work with Trump gets you nowhere he sees movement towards his demands as weakness typical schoolyard bully behaviour and as we all got told when we were young you stand up to bullies. The US can no longer be trusted or seen as a reliable ally time for the rest of the world to move on without it
2025-03-04 0
Trudeau is clear and right. Trump hit all democratic Countries in the a… and make the Dictator Putin happy, here is something wrong.
2025-03-04 0
you are a clear ?incompetent
2025-03-04 0
It's hilarious that so many people think speech means anything.. \nOh, did you write Trump a nasty letter? Oh no whatever will Trump do? \nIt sucks being a Democrat these days. (To be clear, I am a Democrat who is very disappointed with Democrats who do nothing and think that talking is going to do anything)

from Germany: \nSince the war in Ukraine, Germany has been buying 13 times more gas from the USA (from 1% currently to 13%). It's time to show solidarity with Canada and get our gas from there. To all Canadians: be grateful for such a sincere and intelligent prime minister. Thank you, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, for your clear words!
2025-03-04 0
A clever, well spoken man, delivering a clear, strong, and compassionate message *in two languages* is such stark contrast to the orange turd who can barely string one coherent sentence together...
2025-03-04 0
As a Canadian I’m still not clear on how counter tariffs help Canadians? Won’t this just make things more expensive for us? Shouldn’t we just realign our allies for imports/exports? Can someone help me out here? Don’t tell me it’s just because we need to respond in kind so not to be ‘bullied’. You’ll need to do better than that. Seems like only governments win in tariff wars - not their citizens.
2025-03-04 0
Why can't the POTUS speak in clear, complete sentences like the Prime Minister of Canada?
2025-03-04 0
Very well spoken, clear and precise.
2025-03-04 0
Thank you so much for this clear words to Donald Dump.

●Canada less than 1% fentanyl comes thru Canadian border. Canada doesn’t make any precursor drugs for fentanyl. Tariff 25%?\n\n●China -99.5% of precursor drugs needed to make fentanyl come from china. No regulations. Tariffs 10%??\n\nMost should know that the fentanyl coming thru Canada is less than 1% If your wondering where the other 99% is coming from, know this- china allows the sale of the precursor drugs needed to make fentanyl, and it's unregulated. They suppy the mexican cartels these drugs to make and sell which comes across Mexican borders into the US. If china regulated the precursor drugs it could stop fentanyl manufacturing in its tracks. Again 10% tariffs vs 25% tariff. There was a time that china cooperated & worked with the US on this but have since stopped.\nSo whatever is going on with the trump administration, it's clear by the numbers this isn't about fentanyl with Canada. Especially since he didn't extend the same tariffs to the country that could actually stop the making of this horrible drug.

As much as people have been knocking Trudeau for years, This addressing is clear cut and I couldn't see any other PM nominee addressing this situation this way. As a Canadian citizen I stand behind my prime minister with this interview.
2025-03-04 0
It’s crystal clear, Putin is making Trump attack our allies. When does the treason trial begin?
2025-03-04 0
It is quite clear why Trump does not want to acquire strategic minerals through trade but wants to own them. The intention of a convicted greedy criminal should alarm everyone. 1933 is repeating.
2025-03-04 0
Fantastic clear and intelligent speech , thank you ?
2025-03-04 0
I must say I woke up with let’s just say not a smile on my face because of these news. But today, I have never been more proud to be Canadian ?? we must work together and be clear about our future and what we want. Support local businesses and stick up for one another. Bullies won’t succeed for long.
2025-03-04 0
Trudeau sounds like a real leader. Articulate and clear. Contrast that with Trump's imbecilic drivel, his completely inept cabinet and his crazy pro russian agenda!
2025-03-04 0
Absolutely amazing speech. Eloquently and clearly articulated. I’m in full agreement with Canada.
2025-03-04 0
I'm reading through the comments and one thing is very clear. We need to impeach Donald. He's not serving the interests of Americans but rather treacherous dictators like Putin, by hurting long standing and mutually beneficial relationships with our best and closest allies.
2025-03-04 0
As a Canadian, even though I have disagreements with our Prime Minister, he is OUR Prime Minister, and I am glad he is so clearly and strongly saying to the US government and US citizens that we are done playing around. We will pull together, as a country, and come out of this stronger. We are willing to take on short-temp pain to work towards finding new markets and diversifying our trade relationships. The Canadian economy is in a stronger position to survive and recover from a trade war than the US. The US Government in general has destroyed one of the most successful and positive economic and social partnerships in the world and neither Canadians, nor the rest of the world are going to forgive and forget.
2025-03-04 0
Thanks for putting it to Americans clearly, since they aren’t getting it from their own at home.
2025-03-04 0
A person who can communicate clearly has a clear mind.
2025-03-04 0
0:30 I'll make it make sense: Trump is a Russian asset. There are no winners in a trade war, but there's a clear winner looking on from Moscow. On the off chance Trump is NOT a Russian asset, he still could not be behaving like a better one, and that's what matters. Should we be even worrying where the true loyalties of a person are, when they're deliberately sinking the ship?
2025-03-04 0
This must be baffling to many Americans hearing an articulate, well-spoken, and intelligent leader. Many Americans just assume the rest of the world is illiterate and stupid, like the masses of Americans are. The propaganda that is spewed out telling Americans how great their country is isn't reality. Sad, really. When you elect a leader like Trump, it's clear to the rest of the world that there is a shortage of intelligence in the USA.
2025-03-04 0
YEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!\nNow that is a president you can rally behind!\nYou made your bed.... now crumble in it!\nAnd let it be clear... this happened because of the greed of american individuals and your failing government.
