I live in Niagara Falls all my life. I can’t afford to keep my self and son fed without assistance or barley keep the lights . 10 mins away they are living in hotels, getting food, diapers. Hygiene all for free as well as a monthly pre paid card or cheque from 1800-2800 a month… I’ve lived here and payed taxes for over 30 years. Where is my help?

As a Canadian I can say I have no issue with immigrants or anyone trying to seek a better life as I am the son of immigrants. My issue is with our government taking in way more than our economy and infrastructure can handle at a time where it's already under strain. \n\nAdd to the fact they're almost all from the same race, it makes certain areas lose all diversity and a ripe ground for racist sentiments. It's not uncommon where I can be in a grocery store or restaurant and every single customer and cashier is an Indian. At the very least let's diversify where we are taking them all in from. \n\nThe cynical side of me makes me think they are desired by corporations because these people are seen as an easy resource to exploit since they're willing to put up with more and receive less.

We bought are house in 2000, my boys one born here and they grew here, there are white Canadians with University degree and they can’t find job here!! Everything is been taking over by Indians! In the 1990s, when we traveled up to Blaine, WA we would take the children to Peace Arch Park and let them play. I emigrated to Canada in 1972. There is absolutely NOTHING that is the same NOW to what is was then. It was hard but everything was much happier, easy going and there were no heavy stress things like there is today: housing, unemployment, HEALTHCARE and bad economy. Many blame the mass migration but also there have been bad government policies. I really miss those old days, thank God I am retired now and see it from the distance but I fear for my son's future.
