After CNN tried to talk bad about Trump for his decision to tariff Columbia... I wish bias media would just let the President show you why he was elected and why he's president and not y'all. Columbia immediately changed course and now accepting all Trump planes with their own citizens and they are sending their own planes and paying for flights rejected. CNN salty now

USA!USA!USA! #1! God bless us! Wait for all of this to hit our pocketbooks….. especially after we launch tariffs on China! And of course, watch retaliatory tariffs from China hit US exports.

Of course Colombia wont take back all the inmates it sent to America. Why would they?
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Quick, Americans should stock up on coffee from Colombia ($1.5 Billion); cut flowers, bulbs, live trees ($1.6 Billion); mineral fuels, oil, distillation products ($7.2 Billion); pearls, precious stones, metals, coins ($1.9 Billion); and another 100+ products that make up another $10 to $12 Billion of annual imports. So, 50% tariffs on the total imports with Columbia would mean American importers of these goods would pay an additional $10 Billion which...of course...adds to their 'landed cost of goods' and gets passed on to guess who? The end consumer.

Breaking: Colombian President reverses course by offering to personally drive his citizens back home from the U.S. border while singing the Star-Spangled Banner.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
It's amazing how fast this story got old. The Colombian President already caved and reversed course
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Columbia will be broke within a month if they don’t reverse course! America has a GDP of $98 trillion. Whereas Colombia has a GDP of 365 billion. We can always get coffee and cocaine from other countries.! but how will Columbia replace American goods and aid? good luck getting that from China.! ?
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Of course it's US citizens who ultimately pay for the tariff.

Colombian President Gustavo Petro quickly reversed course about accepting flights of deported migrants from the US after President Donald Trump threatened emergency tariffs of up to 50% on the South American country for refusing to cooperate.
\n
\nPetro not only acquiesced to Trump’s demands, he even offered up the official Colombian presidential plane to help shuttle migrants back to the country, calling it a response to “the Government’s commitment to guarantee decent conditions.”\n\nThe extreme left is very unhappy about this decision?

Of course! I knew it. You can't transport people to other countries like livestock.

This is a right course of action. Socialists hate democracy/capitalism . They're trying to hurt our way of life , country , life style.

And of course CNN is on Colombia’s side.

| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
FAKE NEWS of course!!! The president of Colombia already gave in AND agreed to go pick up the deportees in their own planes!
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Of course they denied their planes! You can't just claim 'these ppl are yours' and dump a plane load of ppl. These things require diplomatic conversations. What a moron!
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Of course they don’t want those criminals back. They sent them to the US in the first place.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Yeaaaaa! TRUMP isn’t a cup cake like Biden! Time the countries find out! CNN too. Course they’re broke!
| 2025-01-26 | 5 |
Of course they don't their criminals back,. ??
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Of course there's resistance. Dregs of society have been turned into profitable colonists, as they latch onto the USA' social welfare system and send dollars back to (insert 3rd world ___ hole).
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Colombian President already has reversed course & WILL accept the Migrants.. Good 4 Trump!
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
All these countries don't realize the USA can survive without them. OH NO! not my papaya and mango. The USA is very self sufficient, we just might live without some luxuries. While they lose Foreign Aid and exports to the USA. except Israel of course (we all know why.)
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
More higher prices for US consumers. They and US importers are going to be filling up the US treasury pretty quickly as Trump keeps imposing more and more tariffs. While his clueless supporters keep believing his idiotic lie that foreign companies pay this tariff tax. Of course while the average consumer keeps paying up, there's more money for Trump to cut taxes for his rich friends, himself included.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Of course Biden's administration had more deportation. But they had left 100x more people to enter the country. So proportionally, it was insignificant deportation
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Australia is way better than Canada in terms of Weather, Jobs, income, Sports, Culture and no basements of course…also it puts a price tag on it’s PR rather than giving it easily like Canada!
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Putin is building a military base in Venezuela. Of course, they don't want the American military landing in Venezuela.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Why negative minded people only watch things from one perspective? Of course, the importers might increase the good prices after Tarrifs. However, that gonna make less sale volumes if you have other competitions. If the sale volume is down, the amount to be exported from will be also down.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
And Columbia changed their minds less than 20 minutes! But of course cnn fake news didn’t post that! FAKE NEWS AND ENJOY YOU’RE LAYOFFS!
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
OF course CNN are stupid the Columbian government is going to cave they will take back there criminals. All these countries need the US more then the US need them . Thats how u punish ppl go after there money
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
In 39 minutes Colombia backed down reversed course and their president has even offered the use of his own plane to return the illegal immigrants. That is strength. Instant results.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
What this article FAILS to cover is that Columbia only refused these flights because of the flights that went to Brasil where ALL the migrants were put on the planes in handcuffs AND shackles! The Columbian President was simply asking for some assurance that Trump would not MISTREAT his people this way. Which of course made Trump mad enough to clench his fists, hold his breath and stamp on the carpet.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Most of the coffee imports for the USA are from Brazil. Colombian coffee, of course, will be the issue.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
All this means is that USA consumers pay more for whatever Colombia exports and what consumers will need ( supermarket food produce for example) ?? It does not help US farmers who cannot deliver to super markets their field produce because Trump is deporting workers who go into the fields whom primarily collect it !!!\nTrump is basically taxing the US consumers and pushing prices up !! The US importer pays the tariffs (US customs tax at port of entry) whom then passes it onto the consumer !!\nThe consumer can of course not purchase the product which would hurt Colombia exports; the importers would have to hurriedly find another source whom would probably also increase their price because of demand.\nTrump is a loser and always will be; his businesses are mostly failures; even casinos !!

⚠️update NY Post : Colombian President Gustavo Petro quickly reversed course about accepting flights of deported migrants from the US after President Donald Trump threatened emergency tariffs of up to 50% on the South American country for refusing to cooperate.

Colombia already reversed course and is accepting the flights. Lol
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
I gotta say, I can definitely relate to Trump. I mean just last week the cook at a local restaurant I frequent burned my steak. So of course I did the only rational thing and imposed tariffs on him.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
And so, he is just pretty much making Colombian coffee expensive for no reason at all in response to Colombia rejecting his US military flights full of immigrants. Like......what the hell, dude? What. The. Hell? Well, uhhhh......of course it's not gonna Colombia at all really. But uhhhh......\n\nIt will REALLY just only hurt the United States of America for the time being. Yep. He is hurting the very same country that he is supposed to properly govern right now, ladies and gentlemen. OK, now, he can just now even try applying economic pressure to Mexico and Canada to try and get what he personally wants. BUT in the end, it's gonna make their own products even expensive as well. So uhhhhhh, if I were Trump right now, I would just seriously put a complete stop to all of this AND start doing my job right for once.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Didn't realize the Colombians despised us so casually. CNN of course is on the side of the foreign country instead of the United States and is already applying their fear mongering nonsense as usual.

USA freaking ows me 16k for visa application. Even my STUDENT visa was rejected in spite of having my course started online, all my legal docs and education scores on point. For no reason it was rejected and reason also not shared. If the purpose is not met why use people's money? Utter nonsense visa process and fees.

Seeing a doctor in the emergency depends on how urgent your situation is. In 2023, I broke my left humerus--the bone in the upper arm. My sister took me to Sacré-Coeur Hospital, which is a teaching hospital. At triage the nurses thought my shoulder was dislocated so they sent me for X-rays even before registration, and at the most, I waited about 20 minutes in the waiting room before I was sent to an examination room. When the emergency specialist came in, I told him about pain between my shoulder blades and a feeling of oppression in my chest. So in addition to dealing with my broken arm, he prescribed blood tests that revealed I had had a small heart attack, and he kept me ovrnight. The next day an angiogram was performed and the cardiologist installed two stents in my heart artery, and I spent two days and two nights in the cardiology unit. I don't dare to imagine how much that would have cost me in your country, but also, many people go to the emergency for things like the flu because they don't have a regular doctor to go to, and of course, for stuff like that you are going to wait a long time. Unless there aren't many patients ahead of you.

Of course there should be rejections! You people move abroad drive up inflation and cost of living, where it is near impossible for the actual citizens of that country to adapt. Not only that, you come abroad on student visa's and find loopholes in systems to stay longer than you are required to and apply for permanent citizenship. You've ruined the sovereignty of many once great countries such as Canada, United Kingdom and Australia, so what did you expect? Along with the rejections they need to start deporting people back to India also.

So how easily you forgot how you came here too! So why can't others get the same break the right way of course?.

I'm guessing your friend who gave birth for the cost of $3000 had no complications and good insurance, because from what I've read, the cost without insurance is between $30,000 and $50,000 which is insane to me. As for emerg wait times - I live in a small town in rural Alberta & have never had a problem. Recently had to go to emerg. Was triaged, saw Dr., had xrays & was given Rx. Was in and out in 30 minutes and of course I paid nothing out of pocket. I feel pretty lucky to live here.

???My heart is with the immigrants. I am also an immigrant since here in 1991 I was also running away from violence and from the fact that in Mexico in the 70s, 80s and 90s they were killing homosexuals who could not be in the closet like others who could hide their homosexuality. I was able to immigrate because I had a lot of courage, a lot of fear and most of all, helplessness against the country that gave me life, Mexico, where society and presidents always had some double standards, it is unheard of. I owe my life, my dignity and my prosperity to this country, the United States of America. Of course I have not stopped working since I arrived. I am not a rich person but I am an American citizen. I have managed to be part of this beautiful nation, but we cannot demand that this nation give us something where our own country was denied us dignity, to be treated as first class citizens like us in my country and we could not be given that. But well, I hope that these immigrants find the light very soon and that they talk about how badly their own country is treating them, that they say what is happening. Because that is what they should fine or do something so that their own country's government gives them a better life!???

1000 people a day, how ridiculous, of course, this unfiltered migration needs to stop.

So Mexico harbours and actively supports cartels, prioritizing political and cartel interests over the interests and the will of its own people, causes many to flee to neighbouring countries for economic and safety reasons, until they destabilized the economy and safety of the United States.\n\nThen the Mexican government refuses to have these cartels be labeled as terrorists.\n\nSounds like a narco state to me. And my heart goes to those in the border, your country did us all wrong, of course except the cartel, they do right for the cartel.
