The truth is that every other country hides its problems and markets its positives but in India we disown our positives and show case our negatives. As a Native in a big city stuff is bad, they are not assimilating, actually they are forcing US TO ASSIMILATE TO THEM. They are flexing just how much power they have by discriminating and only hiring or renting their own race, they have inflitrated every level of government and have absoloutely 0 loyalty to our country. Toronto born and raised and a 4th generation Canadian, I loved Toronto so much! As a boy, I was lucky enough to live in a large house at Yonge and St. Clair. Early on we didnt even have to lock the doors or lock up our bikes. We had Beckers corner stores and played tag and baseball down on Summerhill Ave. Fast forward several decades and I have been living in small town USA. By no means is this country even close to perfect but the town I live in is safe, clean and not nearly as populated as Toronto. I am heading back there for a visit and look forward to having my mind blown at the volume of humans that I will see there. I loved the diversity and the amazing food but the housing shortage and ridiculous prices for rent/housing make it next to impossible for even an income earner of my stature want to go back. I cant afford to buy a house there and I make pretty good money. I will love to visit and it is where I am from but I dont see myself moving back there. That makes me sad. Thank you for the video!

I emigrated to Canada in 1972. There is absolutely NOTHING that is the same NOW to what is was then. It was hard but everything was much happier, easy going and there were no heavy stress things like there is today: housing, unemployment, HEALTHCARE and bad economy. Many blame the mass migration but also there have been bad government policies. I really miss those old days, thank God I am retired now and see it from the distance but I fear for my son's future.

My wife and I moved to Canada about a decade ago from post-Soviet states, where we both grew up with not much more than our smarts and a strong work ethic. When we arrived, adapting/integrating Canadian values, especially work ethics, was a big deal for us. Those first few years were tough, we really had to hustle to improve our lives. Now, a decade later, we're both in pretty solid tech and science jobs. Our child had the incredible privilege of being born in Canada, and that fills me with immense joy.\n\nIt wasn't just our own grit that got us where we are now; we owe a lot to the incredibly welcoming Canadians we met along the way. I'm thankful every day for the awesome, kind-hearted folks we've met. Canadians are truly some of the best people around, and despite lots and lots of issues, Canada is one of the greatest countries in the world. I know this because I've lived and worked across many countries on many continents . We, Canadians, need to keep working to make it even better. I'm proud to be a Canadian immigrant. As much as I love decent Indian people and love their culture, the influx of east Asians due to the liberal governments slack immigration policies also brings with it the opportunists, the criminals, and the gangs that have no intention of assimilating. To them it's business as usual while exploiting everything Canada has to offer. Now coast to coast in all major cities we have east asian criminals that don't care about shootouts in public or any other type of violence. Oh and thanks for taking away our means of protecting ourselves while they use weapons smuggled in from the U.S.

Instead of blaming these people, one must question their own government authorities who make the rules and legislation to facilitate this. Maybe it's just the truth of a desperate Canadian economy that needs immigrants to keep fueling the 'aging' Canadian economic engine. These people come in and work hard, odd jobs (not to mention the exceptional skilled ones as well like Doctors, health care workers etc.) which the regular Canadian wouldn't do. I've been in Canada for 2 years without a Family doctor. Thank God, the last 10 different Doctors I met were all fresh immigrants and came to my rescue. Ask your conscience, without these immigrants, you wouldn't be getting your late night coffee at the time Hortons drive thru, no one to take your blood works without you waiting several months in waiting, no ways for universities to subsidize tuition fees for the poorer Canadian students. If immigrants stop coming in, the nice detached home you live in will go down in value, the nice truck you drive will become more expensive, your kids University tuition fees will sky rocket, Canadian companies selling groceries, furniture, etc. Will have lesser revenue and eventually get eaten up be American giants, Canadian companies won't have cheap labour to build those much needed housing. \nNot only question your government, but also question your 'own' people.. Where are they to serve you? Where are the so called patriotic 'original' Canadian Doctors'? They are off to US to earn more money. U think they care enough for their home country?\n If Canada won't, somebody Else will accept these people. Hence get rid of ur ego and attitude, it's YOU that needs immigrants more than they need you ?? \nLastly, don't forget your ancestors too arrived here in ship loads from Europe as immigrants, taking away the land belonging to the native Indians who were slaughtered and today live as prisoners in reservation lands... on their own soil. Real estate agents are the biggest culprits in the rise of prices. I’ve been there several times as telling me my house is worth hundreds of thousands more or we can say exaggerated by 30% or more then my house is on the market for a year which is nota big deal for an agent they have 40 other listings and access to more moneymakers , I’ve sold my last 2 homes personally within days or weeks which were reasonably priced not overpriced this made everyone happy . Building a home is never a problem buy the land get proper permits and select a quality builder I’ve had steady employment and certainly not rich blue collar salary and never have been refused for a mortgage so if you want to build it’s always available , if you qualify for a mortgage.\nAs for your immigration babble do you like to eat food if the answer is yes you should appreciate immigrants, do you like the care you get in hospitals thanks again to immigrant nurses caregivers therapists, how about the next time you stay at a hotel/resort thank immigrants for cooking and cleaning , \nSure stuff costs more you can put some blame on lifetime pensions for politicians and senators for a few years work , over the top spending on government trips , the Governor General expense on wardrobe, minister of whatever buying new boots or shoes to make an announcement total abuse of taxpayer $ , government projects which get cancelled for who knows why and many projects which are unnecessary which are beneficial only to family and friends giving their private businesses contracts , same old guys club new blood is required with new ideas and purpose . \nCanada is expensive I’ll agree but still top 10 to reside in the world if you like life and freedom , eating regularly, lights on , water from your tap, getting to your job on real roads , getting an abortion , not expecting a hospital bill when you arrive home from heart surgery, the list goes on , whiners are are whiners the rest are makers and make our lives better .as for other post saying things are so much cheaper in the states , I don’t pay 10$ for a carton of eggs this happened last year in Arizona state the facts ,

This is a huge omission and I cant find anything that matches the population growth rate chart in the video. The statscan website's chart shows a much smaller increase from 2020 onward.
