The EU should have control of its own defence, it is ridiculous that it doesn’t as it is sufficiently wealthy to do so with ease. Further EU integration has become almost essential or the EU states will start fighting each other again. Trump is actually helping the EU to grow up.

Senate - confirmed the appointment of several cabinet members devoid of the requisite experience for their role, including an ex tv host to head up Defence who has issues for alcoholism, fidelity, was head of a veterans group charged with financial mismanagement, is accused of ra8e, and has white supremecy tattoos on his body.\n\nNot a country you can rely on.

Anti-trump American here. I hope I speak for the tens of millions of Americans that absolutely DO NOT accept this activity. I'm reading.\n Some of the comments. I know my opinion may not matter. But it may eh inside some people. I hope I guess the way that I would look at this is being in their shoes. It's completely different than ours. We are given opportunities from birth. Basically to common deer, the life that we would like to have well, at least most of us are. That was an excellent news report and puts some light on the real situation . I do feel sorry for those who were under temporary protection orders that should have just applied for citizenship as soon as possible and the majority would have got it . Many of these people were let down by the Biden administration , their community leaders and immigration advisors that should have helped and encouraged them to apply , but alas now it's too late . I know a bit about this kind of thing because my Mother and Father lied to me as a child and told me I was a citizen when I was not . I only found out when I joined the Army and they picked it up . There was no problem as I immediately applied to become a citizen and it was accepted .\nI don't know how many official documents I signed and told a lie about being a citizen , it gave me nightmares . Sorry, but allowing Trans people to serve does nothing for readiness or the Country. In fact the cost associated with making them acceptable by the BS training and complaints really isn't worth it. They account for .03% of the military, which comes out to be roughly 3900 people out of 1.3 million active duty. I keep hearing it would take 10 years to get back to operation readiness afforded by trans contributions? REALLY? Are you telling me that those 3900 are the backbone of military? I think the trans issue has a lot of complications that really don't need to play out in the military. I accept the body God gave me and I can't imagine what people go through who can't. It's concerning though that while they're fighting their internal fights it may project on to others. Just because this one man didn't doesnt mean everyone is like him. Should be a case by case basis and not a blanket policy.

I hate Trump and everything he stands for but transgenders serving openly are contrary to the principle of good order and discipline. No matter what people think transgenders are not respected by their subordinates and there has to be respect to be an effective leader. In this man's case he flies as a crew of 1 and possibly 2 so he doesn't require respect from his subordinates but a frontline combat officer leading a company would get zero respect and would probably get fragged. The standards have to be the same across all branches and all jobs and that's not possible. The military is mostly populated with southern and mid western men and they will never accept this so as a veteran I support this move to ban them. I would also like to see the standards restored in regards to fat heterosexuals too. There's nothing that says lack of discipline like a fat soldier whose buttons on his BDU shirt are about to pop and they can't see their toes.

The LARGER problem is that recruitments are at the lowest they’ve ever been, and there’s been talk of bringing back the draft, requiring people to serve —- and our naval admiral, an old man wearing a dress and dating a bald, red lipstick who stole clothes at the White House, because that was their position, and it’s affecting recruitment. I would suggest suggest accept everyone, don’t ask don’t tell. This pilot you interviewed clearly great and wonderful, but let’s look at the larger picture. What makes public discourse are these rare exceptions, and public perception among young volunteer recruits is that you have to be trans to be in the military. If i'm in the trenches of war i don''t want to depend on them and frankly they don't want to depend on me cause of that . Also women don't need to be in trenches either . I have Indian friends who support these rejections, as they themselves admit that Indian people often lack discipline and proper manners when travelling abroad. They criticise India for its poor reputation, blaming the behaviour of its citizens. They understand why some countries no longer want to accept more Indians, as they do not want to import poor behaviour or unhygienic practices that conflict with local social norms. The reality is that the Western world is changing and, at last, becoming less politically correct. The next country likely to face scrutiny will be Pakistan, due to the violence associated with its citizens. You may call us racist, xenophobic, or worse, but Westerners no longer care. We want cleanliness, security, and respectful social behaviour in our communities. If you don't want to adhere to these norms and values, then FUCK OFF!

If the marines won't take somebody for having ADHD they shouldn't be taking people that don't know what gender they are, why are people crying? You don't see the deaf and blind community crying about why they didn't get accepted, people that don't know their own gender shouldn't be crying either.

Can't go to battle on the front line in some other Country when you require medication on a regular basis, it may not be available for weeks or even months. I support Trans people doing what they want, but the military is not the environment to project your sexual identity. Yes, there are some Transgender people who are very capable of performing in the military, but some of the behaviors that are normal in the LGBTQ community are not normal to the heteronormative United States military.\n\nThe U.S military focuses on optimization, and they already have a resourceful system.
