Thanks to that id10t we elected more and more Canadians are ending up like myself. Homeless and jobless because these immigrants are paid less and the government subsidizes the rest, thus making them cheap labor. This needs to change... then again, it's already too late. Makes me wish I could afford to leave this country and go start anew somewhere else that's not canada.

Quebec being number one is because it is subsidized by western Canada. If the Canadian government wasn’t so concerned about loosening the liberal vote and Quebec separating from Canada Quebec would probably rate about number 4. As a result the federal government pours more money into Quebec than all of western Canada. So if you love free money from the rest of Canadians Quebec being the most subsidized then Quebec would be Number 1.

My parents bought a home in Ontario Canada 24 years ago. Only after this long, they finally have 100K left to pay. Considering that it’s a small amount compared to the rest of their previous payments, WTF.

Am I missing something here, Im not sure about open door anything, if you want a job you need to have work permit, if you are old and not eligible for working/holiday visa you need a visitor visa and look for an LMIA approved job ONLY, while already Canada, jobless, as a visitor, IF you get the offer its only then you can apply for work permit and after you got it then they hire you. is that how it usually goes? Or you have tens of thousands of dolars for a college you get study permit that enables you to work too. So, I dont see how is immigration to Canada easy and I have absolutely no clue how Indians and rest of the gang do it in such large numbers. Do they all just come on visitor visa and hope for the best? what about accommodation, money?

Recently I took a walk at the famous White Rock pier in BC, as I've done over the years. But this time during a long weekend, I was shocked that 95% or more of the visitors on the pier were Punjabi families, most of whom spoke only their own language. I openly challenge those consultants and Canadian college admission officers to be upfront with prospective and future students and tell them in person, before accepting their applications, that a study permit does not guarantee permanent residency in Canada. Consultants and colleges need to be honest with their prospective students and not just include those important facts in a fine print under a bunch of paperwork. \n\nAnd my god, the programs most colleges sell—useless diplomas that are of no use in their home countries either. you need to move to china for living for a year or 2, and then go back to Canada, you will be thankful for the price of commodities in Canada. form a guy spent 24 years in china. and i was a Trader whos making $50K a years when i was living in china. can't afford to eat salmon and beef, if you insist to do it, you can spend 200 -- 300 a day just by eating. in Canada i can eat salmon and beef three meals a day for the rest my life and won't affect my quality of life.

I beg to differ - yes, you can blame the immigrants, as they're the root of the housing affordability crisis both in Canada and in the United States. We seem to have mass immigration simply for the sake of having it. If we really needed cheap labor, we could have guest worker programs, or allow in only people who intend to do menial labor. Instead, everyone gets in, including a lot of criminals who reduce the quality of life, as well as others who are just taking up space and making life a hell of a lot more expensive for the rest of us.

I'll tell you the Indian's secret to how they mass migrated so easy. ( I don't mean this in any sort of negative way. ) This was told to me by a friend I work with who's entire family came to Canada from India. So what his family did and many, many others did was... In India they all pool all there $ to 1 family member, that family member gets his full citizenship to Canada then moves here. Soon as possible he will buy a business, then they start brining family members over 1 by 1 through work visas and they all work on getting there citizenships, they all work together and purchase a house. Once they get that house, one family member stays there and the rest buy another and they all work to pay it off, then just keep repeating until all the family members have there own house. meanwhile they are all still working together at there business and start bringing close friends from India via work visas then it all just repeats over and over.

i am in a college in a small town in Ontario and in my class we have 54 students and only 4 not including me are local students and the rest basically 90% are indian and the rest nepali from Philippines and some African countries and i moved here from usa with my family in 2015 and even up till 2019 canada was livable and now its not its impossible my plan is when i graduate i will move back to usa or some cheap country like Mexico Thailand and work remotely i am not against immigration but the path this country is going in accepting crazy amounts of student visa is wild also i feel some what bad for some of these students they get sold on a lie being canada is affordable they can find job easily and live comfortable but at the same time these students should do their research and its nothing but a infinite money maker for collages but at the same time they are kind of forced to do so to make money cause here in Ontario ford cut budgets for collages

No worries Canadians, they are fleeing Canada with Canadian money and, have their own businesses or landowners in INDIA. A cab driver informed me they will be leaving and he owns land and businesses in India off of CANADIAN MONEY while driving a CAB in Canada. He said he and others are leaving because Canada is too expensive to live and because of the high cost they are unable to send money to INDIA, so they are leaving us. They used us, took our Cab driver jobs, etc, and now are fleeing, really nice people...NOT!. FYI they are not the only country who stole Canadian jobs and sent money to their 3rd world countries and will return back home to live in MANSIONS. I worked with a Philippine and he sent money home every paycheck and was looking forward to leaving Canada in 10 years with Canadian money and he will enjoy the rest of their life in a huge mansion.\nIt must be nice to come here, work, and then flee.
