Hi there, I just need anyone out there who has a job can help me out. You still had a great job that I love my whole life and it was all about doing working for the city with the garbage district garbage man for eight years and I’ve been not working for the past three years and those past three years I’ve been looking for jobs and, my place, my place pretty much everything for no reason. I don’t think I deserve this at all. Anyone can help me. I lost my family too. And I not with children it sad to get to this point ???

The process is not the same as it was in the 80s when they did not require renewal every couple yrs w high $ and rules to return to home country for a set amount of time risking losing your home/job/business etc. Some renewal process for green cards have sped up but still takes 6-1yr and a new green card renewal and new one for Mexico can take 1-3yrs for approval. So someone that’s been here +20yrs will have to leave everything they have built here to go wait quite a long time. Its not if you agree how they got here, its what they have done in our country since being here. They add to our economy, +80% pay taxes to never get any of those benefits and they open businesses employing people etc. If they have been here committing a list of crimes then no i don’t agree but majority of immigrants don’t do that. I agree our border needs protection and security. Majority of the left do agree w that but gop don’t want solutions they want to just shut it down completely and thats not right. We have always been a country of opportunity and growth for everybody. If we had a good border bill that they could all agree on fe border act was bipartisan til Trump didnt want to “give dems a win” which it would have given more $ for more judges to help speed up the process for asylum cases and put more agents on the border and more security at checkpoints which is where most fentanyl is caught. But there are alot of things that could be helped and sped up if we just had politicians that could agree, you have bipartisans that support then you have the handful like trump is the puppet master that shuts good things down for partisanship reasons. I agree with the language issues. I've been living in Germany for 20 years and I speak German but the better you get, it's never good enough. I feel they expect me to speak it like a native speaker it accent free with no grammar mistakes. Plus, most are speaking to me in their dialect and expect me to understand everything to perfection.

We build this country. Now immigrants get to arrive here, take what we built for granted and most of the time just change everything to suit their culture. This is a real issue. If I went to India to live there I would never do such a thing. When you immigrate, you accept the local culture as the main one. Its called compromising. You immigrate for the benefits but also you accept the downsides.

Lived in in Germany as a Skilled worker before \nmoving to the Netherlands. Everything except nature and health care is better in the Netherlands. Getting things done from the Government is the biggest difference. I mean seriously the Netherlands is leaps and bounds better in this regard . Even with recent political changes, people in the Netherlands are more welcoming to outsiders in my experience. For a skilled worker with high mobility Germany is not even in the top 10 potential choices

I have to disagree with the cost of living. Canada is higher than the us on mostly everything. If you make the same amount of money in the us as you do in Canada your quality of life is much better. Houses in California cost as much as houses in London Ontario…. Gas in Canada cost me 100 per tank in California it is 80. Food cost less in California, cars are way cheaper. You can get a new truck for 40k ish in Canada lucky to get one for 60k, car insurance in cheap in the us you hear on the radio get insurance for 30$ a month it’s like 300$ in Canada, phone and internet is cheap in us Canada it’s ridiculous. I could go on but you get the picture. Again if you make the same amount of money you live way better in the us.

Sometimes I felt like I was reading comments about a completely different country when people wrote about not being accepted by society and so on, so I decided to respond too.\n\n\nI barely speak German (my second language is English) and I have never felt any racism or disrespect towards me. Whether it was on the street or at work. I more often met friendly people who were interested in learning about my move to Germany and were always admiring and saying words of support. This cannot be faked, these things were real. \n\n\nOf course, you will experience a lot of stress when visiting the foreigners' department, as many things are unfamiliar to you and you don't have enough language skills at first.\n\n\nOf course, I would like to get paid more for my work, or at least pay less taxes. Yes, child money support exists, but it's more of a formality as it barely covers the costs of raising children. This is where I would really like to see improvements.\n\n\n\nPeople, including immigrants, cannot understand that by increasing the demand for housing, they are increasing its cost. You can't blame the country itself for this. This is because Canada made asylum is the easiest option to get permanent residency. While harder for the students. Most of those int' students were completely fine back in their home country. Now theyre making a 100% false story, false documents to get their asylum approval. Allowing asylum claim for everyone, providing benfits for the claimants and ultimately giving easy approval is direct injustice to the students who studied, paid tuition, worked hard during PGWP. Making everything easier for the fake refugees encourage those false / unqualified / half-qualified students to claim asylum.

Hi… I totally agree with just about everything you stated in all aspects of the Indian community. I’m a Canadian who happens to be living in Brampton for the past 12 years. I’ve watched Brampton go from a beautiful community to a dark dreaded place to live , and this is truly because of Indian behaviours. Mind you I have many genuinely good intelligent respectful Indian friends, but there’s the others that thinks they owe the city, province, and country. They don’t respect no one, and I mean no one. However; the moment you say something to them they assume that you’re cursing at them and what was ment to be a respectful comment becomes a situation where they want to argue and even get into a physical fight. Then there’s the bad, careless driving on the streets with no regards to the next person’s life. They drive like their car is the only one on the street yet always looking for someone to race with not to mention the illegal U-TURN creating major accidents. I personally experienced this when a Tractor Trailer Driver tried making a U-TURN on the city street with only 4 lanes for both direction at 4AM in the morning. This caused me to almost ran under the trailer body which would have been the end of my life.
