Newfoundland is actually more historical as st.johns was established in 1497 and Quebec city over 100 years later being established in 1608. I took my daughters to my home country 6 years ago. My children took after their Dad's side, not my looks of ethnicity. I remember we were followed a lot in stores. We would make it very obvious to them that we were on to them. Would then walk out and take our business elsewhere.
