Canada has to start recognising degrees from other countries. Here in B.C. we have emergency rooms closing overnight due to lack of staffing. We need doctors and nurses yet the barriers for those immigrating to get their degrees recognised mean many never qualify.\n\nCanada also needs to look at who we are admitting in and to terminate the family unification policy. When immigration was helping the country grow there was a different demographic coming in. Often it was single men or young married couples. As they came by themselves they assimilated into the mosiac of the country. When you concentrate on immigrants from one country instead of assimilating they setup ethnic communities. \n\nLook into what study groups have said that is contributing to gang violence. It's ethnic groups that have the grandparents, parents and grand kids all living in one home. The grandparents want the grand kids to adhere to their native culture. Unfortunately by time you get to the grand kids they are Canadian. They speak English/French depending where they live with little interest in speaking their ethnic language. There is cultural conflict within the home hence street life is where they find love and caring.\n\nSome cultures are not as community minded. Part of the high cost of renting/housing is based on greed not need. In my own community I know of apartment units now renting at 2,500 - 4,000/month owned by the same people that even five years back you could have rented for 500 - 800. There is no justification for that percentage of increase other than greed.\n\nJob opportunities. Summer employment for school kids is going down yearly. You see local business that use to hire students over the summer month claiming they can't find any workers. They bring in TFW yet Canadian students can't find work. You can tell the owners nationality of a business by the nationality of the workforce. A local store bought by a east Indian two years ago which at the time had a diverse workforce is now entirely staffed by east Indians. Yet who screams racist? \n\nCanada definitely needs to reconsider its immigration policy and bring in major changes.

Canada brought in 1 million immigrants from Jan 2021- Dec 2023, a 2.5% population increase. That, would be the equivalent of 8.75 million immigrants coming across the southern border over 2 years. Canadian here, born and bred in Toronto. Just where are you getting those housing prices for Canada $550,000 per house??! As I live very close to Toronto just to get into the housing market now you need at least $1 million Canadian. I think it down payment now is $50,000 or more. I don’t think you could find a house in Canada for $550,000 unless maybe a live weigh in the sticks maybe Tim or talk to Tuck and the northwest territories.\n\nI have visited America and, I definitely would rather live in Canada. Your comparison of Canada to the US is seriously misplaced. Canada is the second largest country in the world, next to Russia. Our population of 40 million ppl is low which is great. Canada is a very diverse country. CANADA is more than Toronto or Montreal. There are many beautiful cities in western Canada, Saskatoon is an example with a population of close to 400K and yes, it’s a city, not a small town. Personally I’d never live in Toronto, and as a life long resident of Canada, born and raised here, who has travelled the entire country. And visited several states as a former professional softball player. Travelled many countries as well as the Caribbean. I would also move to the West Indies, primarily the island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines or maybe New Zealand. If I moved from the west within Canada, I’d move to the Eastern seaboard, Nova Scotia is really nice. Both of you, your eyes are wide shut about Canada lol. My main issue with our country allowing so many immigrants into the country is that many of these immigrants from India seem to come to buy businesses up and sponsor their families and friends to live in Canada and work in their businesses which makes it extremely difficult to get basic minimum wage jobs. \nI’ve seen it first hand in my small town, I worked at a Tim Horton’s that was owned by Canadian owners but was sold halfway through my employment to an Indian family and slowly but surely all of the original Canadian workers, including the many young workers (high schoolers) we had employed were pushed out of the business, laid off, given less shifts in favour of giving the Indian employees more shifts. \nI had applied to become manager when my manager quit, I had worked there for a year and instead of promoting me (Because it just would have made sense because I know the job and live very close) An indian man was hired from a city 30 minutes away who’s never worked at a Tim Horton’s and barely spoke English. He was totally sexist to all the young female workers and treated them horribly. He never spoke English on the floor when our staff started to hire more Indian workers. \nIt’s becoming insane.

In 1980 the average income for boomers was 20 grand, a house in the heart of Kitsilano was 50 grand, that house is now worth four and a half million dollars... A toddler could inform you that that isn't a sustainable business model. Suffice to say if I live to a thousand years I will never see a 10,000% return on investment. The older generations have abandoned the younger generations. There was recently a pole done and it showed that Canada ranks eighth for happiness in the world for over 60, and it ranks 65th in the world for under 35... Case closed. Soo true.. I came here thinking all is good in first world country but reality is different. Healthcare is worse even with so little population, Indian healthcare is far far better we forget to appreciate specially considering population in India. No customer service in canada, most services are closed on weekends they don’t care even if ur dying.. India see seekh loo customer service. Plus education is worse they charge high fees but professors are worst they higher anyone that fits their budget not on merit. People occupy positions from graduation until they retire so no scope of growth or upskilling and they get threatened by highly qualified and ambitious Indians who come from fast paced environments. When we came 28 years ago 1st time in Montreal there was very limited south Asian immigrants. Health care was top of the world..living standard was best with less expensive housing & other costs.. Now we live in Toronto & after 28 years its a totally different country. Health care is verge of collapse. 6 to 7 hours waiting in Hospital, 3 hours waiting to see a family doctor. No housing for new people. Car theft is high in the world. Lots of drugs in young people. No job for immigrants while local born young people struggling to find jobs. Only highy educated from local universities people gets job. Food cost higher than US, Europe. Large country but 80% people lives close to US borders. Northern part of Canada is empty. Racism getting higher & higher.. All these problems started after Trudeau came in power. During Harper time Canada was top of the world. Trudeau adoped reckless immigration policy. He brought people here without developing infrastructure like new hospitals, schools, housing etc.. Now most of students are living in stress here. 4/5 people living in one room. No job.. Education tuition fees are very high.. Therefore, new people coming to Canada must do their own research before come here. 99% political asylum cases are getting rejected & facing deportation. Students will not get work permit until they finish their course & get a job from employer.. Trudeau time is over. What ever problems you showed in the video is only related to International Students. But at the same time when International students come to Canada to study not to settle. When CBSA always asked them how long is your study and what would you do after your studies are completed. Every student would tell them that they will go back to their country once their student work permit is finished. Then CBSA will allow you to enter Canada. Go tell them when you come to airport that you wanna stay here for ever they will kick you out right away. I don't know why students are protesting when they knew the rules for students are different from other categories. And it is changing every year. I have been in Canada for past 10 years. Life have changed a lot since then. Standard of living has come down. Rent and mortgages increased. Job lay offs. Higher grocery rates and everything have gone up. It’s so hard to survive here. I had a severe sprain in my knee and I could not walk at all. I got MRI appointment 1 year after I went to doctor. This was the worst thing I experienced. My daughter was born very micro premature, doctors took good care of her and she survived here in Canada. We paid 0 dollars. In India the treatment would have costed close to 1 crore or I can say there is no specialized treatments in India for such micro premature babies. I’m thankful to Canada in this case. I have seen best and worst. So I’m neutral here. But I strongly suggest students not to come to Canada at this moment. This country does not have enough jobs, no proper education, no standard of living now

I really like your videos abhi & niyu however this video is not showing the full reality. Every country has its goods & bads and same goes with Canada. I have lived in Canada for 4 years since 2004 and some problems may have increased, but that doesnt make it such a bad place to live or immigrate too. Drugs is a choice and the percentage should be compared to India as well then.\nYes, there is significant wait for doctors but its not what you showed in video and if you want to expedite, private system is a choice you can take same as india. \nIf you work hard & save, you can definitely afford to buy a house, same as India.\nI love India but that does not mean I close my eyes for any good things outside of that country.

Settled really well but since last few years we’ve noticed a lot of crime drugs and Canada became culturally insignificant place to live. Lately Khalistani movement have become more frequent on the streets. The schools are focusing more on LGBTQ and sex education and there is not much other education provided in the schools Finally we decided to move back to India after a lot of discussion with parents and friends and we moved back to India last June. After spending a month in India (Ahmedabad, Gujarat) I feel so secured for my family and kids.\n\nMe and my wife are pharmacists, we have witnessed heath care very closely. we’ve seen a lot of patients died due to not getting heart surgeries on time . Knee replacement has become almost impossible due to a long wait times and patients are badly suffering with pain. Some hospitals had to close down on weekends as no doctors are available, there are no enough beds so patients are being treated on hallways, The wait times in Emergency Departments is so long…\n\nYou should have talked about schools, education policies are not so good till 10th standard they are only focusing on arts, music, drawings, basic maths, sex and LGBTQ. The sex education is compulsory from 5th standard (It was optional before)

Hello, I live in BC, Canada. Canada is currently in a very rough state, and I can only hope things will improve soon. One of the biggest issues is the rampant, uncontrolled immigration. The government invited a flood of people into the country without having the necessary infrastructure in place—jobs, healthcare, housing—to support them. Now they're trying to cap immigration, hoping for a turnaround, but it's like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.\n\nCanada's drug and crime policies are an absolute joke. I also have an Instagram account where many students ask me about studying in Canada. I always tell them that if they're doing well in India, they should stay there. The problem isn't just with India's education system—it's with the unrealistic mindset of people wanting to come to Canada.\n\nWe see students desperately going from one store to another, begging for jobs that simply aren't there. Some even sell their land or property, especially in Punjab, thinking they'll find a better life here. But right now, it's just not worth it. Any urbanist would tell you Canada is just a sprawled and poor transportation as America . It’s just Canada has a population smaller than CALIFORNIA for the whole damn country. Most of the people commenting on Canada can't even imagine the quality of life. Even if you're Ambani, you'll still have to deal with pollution and dirt all over the place. Due to the influx of immigrants and recently poor governance of the country, it has slumped. Drugs and homelessness has increased but I've been settled here since the past two years and have had a considerable amount of work life balance and financial stability compared to back home. I did work for close to a decade in India yet could not accomplish what I did in 2 years here. Every country has it's pro's and cons and when it comes to healthcare yes it is sad but will be improved over time. If India was so great why are we taxed beyond question and not allowed to enjoy proper infrastructure and employment opportunities. Canadians are tired of our protests and whining for PR. People with no skills back home, can't land a job anywhere else. Period.
