In face, Canada is good to raise children, but when they grow up and you are free on yourself, it is better to change to live in other countries. South america and Southeast asia are among good choices. Selling your house will stop paying the ever rising government tax and strata fee but gives you a more affordable housing while plenty left for buying medical insurance abroad. Saving of 35-45% tax can easily buy a descent plan. Canada is great but the cost of living is far more greater! In long run, Canada will become more occupied by Indians and other third world countries immigrants who like to raise large family to maximize their welfare and send children to school for free. The employers like cheap labour and bigger consumer size so they support Treadue. The foreign students in my company ridiculously work more than study. Americans scared that their southern border is unsecure while their northern border is thousands of miles longer, unprotected and unmanned. Speaking as a Canadian you all should be scared in the USA. Now that Canada is on the downward trend due to no housing, no jobs, inflation and unsanctioned immigration, I can GUARANTEE that you will get a huge influx of illegal immigrants who hop the border. They get into Canada legally (since we accept anybody without backgroud checks) and once they discover how tough life is here they make a run for the USA. Canada was never their final destination just a pit stop before they head to America. Canada needs some serious help and legislation when it comes to this. Our infrastructure and culture are at a serious risk of being permanently damaged due to this. Our federal election is in October 2025 and even if we get a politcal party change I fear that nothing will ultimately change for the good.

Context:\n\nAround a year or two ago driving back home with some friends after visiting Niagara Falls, we were pulled over because my car’s headlights were off. I didn’t stop immediately when they turned their police lights on because I didn’t think I did anything wrong but did eventually pull over after realizing they were indeed trying to pull me over. \n\nAfter I pulled over, two officers quickly got out and one of them rushed to my passenger side mirror and very aggressively yelled at me, “why didn’t you pull over” etc. I was very surprised by his reaction and quickly explained that I was a fairly new driver (about 6 months of driving experience at the time). He went away for a few seconds to cool off and later apologized for his behavior (very respectable).\n\nMain Focus:\n\nNow, the interesting part is while the officer was cooling off, the other officer wanted not just my ID but everyone else’s’ in my car as well. I still to this day do not think that is normal, however, I haven’t been pulled over enough to confirm that. Anyways, some of my friends didn’t have officials IDs on them but they did have their student ID. The police wanted that as well. They took a long time to what I assume, conduct a very thorough check on everyone’s ID, making sure nothing is suspicious and everyone is from America. The whole encounter had to be around 20 to 30 minutes long, it was very very long. \n\nTakeaway:\n\nFrom what I experienced that day, I strongly believe that people were at least crossing the northern border around 1 year ago and most likely even earlier. There are bus services that go straight to NYC from Buffalo which is right across the border from Canada to the US. However, I’m not sure if you need ID to use those services. \n\nFor those who read this comment, use this information however you will, I hope it helps even just a little in making some sort of change. \n\nHopefully, there won’t be an increase on how long it takes me to get past border patrol to Canada and back ?. I also hope that our taxes decrease because too much of it are being payed for services to aliens when some of our locals are still stuck in the streets.

In NYC, migrants from South America can go to 800 2nd Ave Manhattan and go up to the 2nd floor to the Embassy and get papers filled out, get a passport, get your reloadable debt card, medical, schooling, housing voucher and live like a king for a few months. Over 200 line up every morning here and several hundred a day go through to get this. Can we be mad at the migrants, NO. Though I can be mad at the government for allowing and promoting it. When I got leukemia from the job the utility company fought Workers comp and stopped my pay to starve us out. I ended up homeless with a wife and 4 children. All social services in NY could do was offer us $13 a day per child for food allowance and nothing more. We couldn’t even get Medicare. The food allowance was only for 7 days. It’s a disgrace how citizens are treated. Come here illegally and they offer you the world. These politicians need to be voted out. Social services was developed to help those citizens in need and it’s not happening. People need to realize that government contractors (usually family of politicians) are hired to help these “migrants” . These contractors even from the UN are in Panama helping migrants get here. If you research it you will get angry for sure. My elected officials in Northern NY know what’s going on and are behind it, they don’t even hide it.

So now Canada like Mexico are not protecting their boarders America needs to start law suits but these countries letting them cross the borders and not stopping them before
