It's all b******* Canadians should not be homeless. Should not be on the streets unless they chose to do that. Nobody should be forced out of their home cuz they can't pay for the s*** that they worked for. I know a lot of people have lost their homes are about to lose their homes or just leaving because of all of this

Those homeless white people chose not to work because the Ontario gives them just enough from ODSP to keep them cracked out for the month but the Indians from India want to work.

Hi Febby, stumbled upon your video and wanted to know your experience in Canada. As someone who was born in Canada and left, I wanted to know about some current sentiment, especially by younger people. I think you had some interesting information. I'm actually sad to hear that crime and homelessness has gotten even worse, especially in places like you mentioned, DTES. One thing I want to share with you about the housing issue. Canada acts like a Federation. Meaning that a lot of decision making is delegated to the provincial and municipal level. Yes, Canada has goals for immigration. That's a super valid goal because every developed country is going through declining birth rates. Canada wants to lessen the damage that will be felt by so many other countries like Italy, Germany, China, Japan, etc. The issue with this federated government is like you said, a disconnect between goals and readiness. However, I really feel this will never be accomplishable because of all the lobbying that occurs at the municipal level that the Federal and even Provincial level government cannot control. Yes, there may be shortages in labour to do development, but even then, I really think that lobbying and corruption is keeping adequate supply from being built. From the homeowners and the perspective of the wealthy property owners, they want to keep the valuation of housing high by keeping supply low. Why else is the municipal government keeping such archaic zoning laws? From what I could find, there has been some talk about changing this (https://bc.ctvnews.ca/b-c-to-table-housing-law-targeting-outdated-zoning-rules-1.6627260) but I struggle to see anything really being done. That's probably because of lobbying. The immigration laws set by the government had too many loopholes and flaws ultimately. I don't think we are getting enough productive immigrants. Actually, the opposite seems to occur a lot. The wealthy from the countries I mentioned are abusing the immigration policies in Canada to transfer and preserve their wealth in Canada. I think it has hid in plain sight for a long time, and people have started talked about it in the last 5-10 years because of the struggles of housing affordability from the middle class. What about the immigrants that really want to start a life in Canada and find opportunities like you said? The housing is too expensive for them to do that. Really chicken and egg problem like you mentioned. And this issue can't readily be fixed with the way Canadian government operates. Look forward to hearing your thoughts. Many of the facts were some % wrong. Although I love India and happily worked in India for almost decade, but lifestyle and personal life is better in Canada, because in India big business tycoon says people should work for 15-18 hrs. Personal life put on shit. It’s not easy to settle here easily and definitely have to struggle a lot, and that is same in India if u are builting things by your own and not on with family support. Homeless people are being provided with proper shelters and money in Canada, but being druggist they don’t live there. Skilled people here are not struggling much, but if u go in comfort zone and continue with basic jobs, u eventually will struggle. People don’t wna go to distance city, hence all problems.

The thing is white dudes dont study and f their life by taking drugs etc dont get married become homeless, where as other communities are progressive and opposite to white people , and also white people dnt wanna live in multicultural area , where ever brown people stat buying houses, white people people start moving away

Thanks for this outside view. I live about 150km from Toronto. We cant bring up any of this in normal conversation without being immediately labelled racist. Those same people will argue day and night that immigrants have not caused our housing crisis citing every other fault in the system. Ive seen about a 4x increase in homelessness in the last 2.5 years.

I agree with most of the information in this video. I lived in Canada from 2015-2021. When i used to attend college, parking lot always smelled like weed. People were always lined up at the “recreation drugstore” even in excruciating cold. Also, the job market is bad, most of the employers are racist. Permanent residency is very hard to get. Free health care is actually not free. It is deducted from your every single pay checks. If you had any emergencies, be ready to wait for more than 10+ hours; sometimes more than that. I remember when back in 2015, prime minister justin, got more than 5 thousand Syrian refugees, and people were complaining that they are currently facing job shortages, housing issues and many other things but their needs were completely ignored. I recently visited Canada, and it’s getting worse now, lots of traffic, crime and homeless people. I would still recommend if you want to go and get educated because the education system is good. But if your goal is only for settlement then i would suggest to apply for permanent residence first.

Last 3 minutes are true. Do your own research. If you are highly skilled, any place is good for you. But reality is people who could not secure admission in any college in India , come to Canada thinking life will change here. They end up doing low paying jobs here and then struggle with drugs , homelessness, high rent etc. Study in India if you are capable , or come for reputed MBA and come for jobs. Don't come to study diploma courses , noone is going to give you jobs with those diploma , certificates other than McD and Tim hortons.

Rubbish video and info i earn 50k a year and got approved loan of 4 lakh . You can buy a condo in 3 to 4 lakh , and treatment waiting list according to priority if its really urgent the no needs to wait . The new students who came in May intake haven't got the jobs yet that too in an area where population is relatively smaller, jobs chances are better etc. They have been applying for whole more than 2 months straight almost every day..and still no luck. Homelessness, drug problem is actually a real problem here. Pollution, greenery, electricity, water etc. k mamle mein I would say it's pretty okay unlike India jahan boht mushkil ho jata he. But I thini yahan or bhi bura haal hone wala he. O would prefer India all day every day. Well.. I'm still waiting for my studies to be completed...jikska ghanta koi fayda hone wala he..but .. so many people like me are in this dilema of going back vs staying here even after wanting so badly to go back to India. Decision is yours.. you'll have to deal with whatever you chose and no one else. Be bold..take the right decision

i am big fan of your videos but as off i live in Canada since 2022, I am partially agree with you about drug, house rent and medical. \n\nOther than that I’m not agree with your views on loan you can get loan easily in canada.\n\nCanadian government is deporting that students or people who has misconduct the documents or have done some minor crimes or some other issues. \n\nYes there are lots of homeless people in canada but they are homeless because of their own mistakes like drugs and etc not because of the high rent i was a international student and i was paying for my rent. \n\nYes there are so many negative views about canada but most importantly you can earn by your self which is not possible in india. few points are absolutely wrong-\nCanada provides one time post graduation work permit(PGWP) only once after completion of study..They never promised to any international students to give PR or Citizenship but Canada gives you time to establish your comprehensive ranking score in order to get the permanent residency but these students who are protesting could not fit in that criteria, Thats why they are looking for the extension in their work permits which makes no sense actually.A fun fact a lot students can't talk in English here bcuz they hardly study or learn some skill. Your language proficiency is one of the main criteria to get jobs and later to get your PR here.\nCanada didnt promise that. Thank you for the information, but the way you share the 8 points sounds like a spoiled child complaining. I wish you could give an example of a country doing better in at least 4 things. Homeless people are everywhere. As for non-aggressive homeless, I cannot say. Racism towards blacks or other minorities compares to other developed countries. Taxes are high on a salary because one has a salary at least. So what I am trying to say, these are issues I agree. I would instead call them areas for improvement, and a country like Canada can do better.

I am watching this video from Canada and I have 4 words for you - “DO NOT COME HERE!!!” Everything that was mentioned in the video is absolutely true. Canada is facing many problems, unaffordable housing, broken healthcare systems, homeless people, drugs. I am always scared to walk in downtown at night when I’m returning from work. And the worst part is, you cannot even defend yourself here if a homeless person is attacking you. If you do that you will be prosecuted saying that why did you touch that homeless guy and it is a violation of human rights, which is stupid. So does that mean that we should just let a random homeless person kill us?? How does that make sense?? My friend who was having an asthma attack had to sit in the emergency room for 8 hours. If something would have happened, who would be responsible? And the list just goes on. And what does the Canadian prime minister do about that….? Let a guy be a girl and a girls become a guy? Most of the people commenting on Canada can't even imagine the quality of life. Even if you're Ambani, you'll still have to deal with pollution and dirt all over the place. Due to the influx of immigrants and recently poor governance of the country, it has slumped. Drugs and homelessness has increased but I've been settled here since the past two years and have had a considerable amount of work life balance and financial stability compared to back home. I did work for close to a decade in India yet could not accomplish what I did in 2 years here. Every country has it's pro's and cons and when it comes to healthcare yes it is sad but will be improved over time. If India was so great why are we taxed beyond question and not allowed to enjoy proper infrastructure and employment opportunities. Canadians are tired of our protests and whining for PR. People with no skills back home, can't land a job anywhere else. Period.

I live in Montreal. The city is beautiful and has a great vibe. But the roads are really bad, housing is shitty, healthcare is the worst in Canada (imagine that!). I had a gynaecological issue where I was bleeding for over a month. You cannot go to a specialist by yourself without a referral. When I got the referral I could not get an appointment for the next 4 months. I had to immediately run to India to get treated. My friends have all had similar experiences. I’ve been living here for 6 yrs now and still don’t have a family doctor. I’m on the waitlist for the past 4 yrs. And family doc doesn’t mean your entire family gets one doc nah uh. My husband will get a different one and I’ll get a different one. Homelessness is rampant. Every month 100s of working people are going homeless. They are rushing to hospitals to take shelter from heat and rain. 60% of Canada is atheist and churches have been turned into bars, cabarets, libraries, homeless shelters etc. Most international students rely on food banks because you can’t afford groceries here. But Indians living in Canada only flaunt their branded clothes and accessories to fake their luxury life and hide that they do hard labor to make ends meet

I am a Canadian and I have seen the sharp decline of Canada over the past decade which makes me very sad. According to many 'experts' they paint a dire picture of the nations future as the rate of inflation spirals out of control and we are buried beneath a mountain of debt. On the ground level, homelessness is an epidemic that the powers that should not be seem to want to sweep under the rug, while they race bait and spout off about woke ideology. They are more worried about transgender rights and castrating children while with anyone with eyes to see are witnessing the very breakdown of their society around them, people are dying in the streets from fentanyl overdose. My wife volunteered at our old church which catored to the homeless and I have known many that are no longer with us, nobody wants to acknowledge it because they do not want to face the fact that they are fellow human beings. i rent a room. multi-people per room isn't preying on people, it's giving them a chance at not being bloody homeless. It's so damn expensive, and it's not going to change, this has become the only solution that isn't CRAWLING with bureaucratic red tape, And it sucks. Waiting for the other 2 roomates to finish bathroom routines in our shared bathroom... It SUCKS, and that's 3 people sharing 2 rooms, I can only imagine multiple to a room, but I DARE you to try to afford to live in toronto or vancouver while juggling student loans, while you still can't get a ruddy job in the industry you went to school for because it became saturated with laid-off senior staff.

As a Canadian Born Citizen, it’s my opinion that it’s the Islamic people who’s “holy book” teaches them to “loot and pillage” non-Muslims that is the problem, NOT people from India. This is not racism as I have not mentioned a race. Many people from Muslim countries are coming to Canada and IMMEDIATELY heading to the homeless shelters and IMMEDIATELY going on Welfare. Go to ANY FAMILY SHELTER IN TORONTO and tell me HOW MANY MUSLIMS ARE THERE. Their intentions from before they come here seems to be to milk us for all we are worth and Trudeau puts them at the FRONT OF THE LINE, while Canadian Born Citizens sleep on the streets because Muslims are given First Priority.

We recently moved from Switzerland to BC Canada and to be honest, we somehow regret it because it feels like it's a big downgrade. Maybe we are still transitioning but seeing homeless people, drug addicts and litter everywhere almost every time we go out are way too shocking. We've never seen these in Switzerland and not even this much in every country we've lived and traveled at. We are questioning if it's safe to even stay here for a year. And the taxes, it's ridiculous really! The average income tax in Switzerland is only 11-12 percent, less than half of Canada.

The Canadian government makes alot of money in immigration fees from immigrants but before they were bringing people from all over the world but for past decade it happens to be alot of east Indians, i lived in Brampton for 20 years but decided to move out in 2021 because it didn’t feel like i was living in Canada anymore thanks to Mr Trudeu who gave them ez pass , all the jobs were finished, employers only wanted to hire newcomers so they can exploit them n then you see them protesting on roads, residential areas for not getting paid by employers,failing in college, visa renewal issues, This was another reason why you see so many homeless people and higher rent rates! The government should have balance of jobs before they start bringing immigrants to come and undercut the wages

I honestly think some Canadians people have memory problems. 30 years ago Brampton was known as the town with the most Indians. Nobody complained. The cost of living and housing went up in the last 10 years and now all of a sudden people complain about something that has always been. The only difference is theres more Indian students. Its a student issue, not an Indian issue. Then you got white drugged up people blaming immigrants for their choices. Nobody forced you to do drugs. If you are poor and homeless this does not mean you turn to drugs. The land is vast, there are plenty of chances. The reason why crime and drug addiction is up, is because lack of government punishment for open drug use, lack of protecting the mailing system, lack of cracking down and normalization of drug use. You go to Dubai, An Arab city that has majority Desi people. Where is the crime where is the drugs? None. Everyone is happy. This is not an Indian issue this is a Canada issue.

Im a white Irish woman and It isnt the fault of the Indian population that there are white drug addicted homeless people. Is it me or has the Maga ideals flowed into Canada from the states? Why did all these white people end up homeless, after living in Canada for all these years. Before the immigration spike happened???I agree too many immigrants. White folk can learn a lesson in work ethic.
