As tensions rise in Eastern Europe, the importance of steadfast leadership within NATO has never been clearer. France and Germany, long considered the backbone of the alliance, have stepped up with decisive action, reinforcing NATO’s eastern flank with strategic troop deployments and economic resilience. French President Émile Laurent and German Chancellor Anna Weber have demonstrated a commitment to European security, bolstering defense spending, coordinating joint military exercises, and ensuring the alliance remains united against growing threats. Their leadership has reassured smaller NATO members that Europe’s security remains a priority, even as transatlantic relations waver.\nAcross the Atlantic, however, Washington’s indecisiveness and political gridlock have left NATO partners questioning America’s long-term commitment. While previous U.S. administrations led with clear strategic vision, the current White House has struggled to project strength, often sending mixed signals on critical global issues. Despite these challenges, European leadership has proven that NATO’s stability does not rest solely on American shoulders. France and Germany’s firm diplomacy and strategic coordination have kept the alliance on course, ensuring that collective defense remains ironclad, even in the absence of strong guidance from the United States.

Temussolini is attacking the adversaries of Putin, even if they are friends of the United States. But Republicans won't deal with the traitor in their midst.
|

We don’t want this either, and the current administration is not MY government and I know so many people who feel the same way. Trump and his cohorts are a danger to the American people and I am disgusted and ashamed that he is the ” leader” of my country. We stand with every true democracy against this tyrant and all who support him and his plot to destroy the United States!

Clone Trudeau and make him our president too. He's a smart, reasonable man who has his moral compass pointed in the right direction. Donald Trump, not even close. How he got elected is the mystery that will no one will ever solve. But he is going to destroy the United States if we don't get him out of office.

Now you’re just making excuses for Trump’s actions Trump is full now has full knowledge of his actions along with with the Republican Party and Vance and Elon Musk. They are trying to destroy the fabric of democracy in the United States.?

That’s right stand up for your country president Trudeau. Donald Trump is a big ass liar. I have been to Canada several times. And I know for a fact it’s gonna be very very very very hard to bring drugs up out of Canada to United States. Canada is a wonderful lovely country. You’re doing right not to deal with a evil man. He’s just using the Tarniff law to try to put extra money in his pocket and they trying to con the other countries out of their money.Lying to the American people make them think it’s another reason why he’s doing the Tarniff law . He’s a habitual liar, and a con man and a thief.I wouldn’t do no business with him at all he cannot be trusted. If a man will betrade his own country he will betrade anybody. Who ever in United States they pick up a gun or try to hurt the Canadians any kind of way it’s a damn fool. In the truck started a war with Canada with him in office I would rather fight for Canada then fight for him

Am I missing something here, the United States is at a trade deficit with Canada, why wouldn’t they place tariffs on Canadian goods to equalize that deficit?

Why don’t Canada that over the United State and the president of Canada replace Grifters Donald Trump. One thing I disagree with his messages is Trump isn’t smart. He has Elon Musk running America and he’s signing coloring books.

Hey hey hey. The United States didn't launch a trade war. Donald Effing Trump and his Republican lickspittles launched a trade war. Most of us in the U.S. are sick to our stomachs about this attack on our wonderful neighbors to the North. Let's keep the blame squarely where it belongs. Trump, Vance, Rubio, and the list goes on from there.

This is all blasphemy Canada doesn’t have anything but the United States doesn’t. Whatever resources in the ground in Canada there is an abundant supply in the United States. We don’t need Canada. They need us our products, but we don’t need them.

If tariffs are bad, and it makes things cost more for your citizens. Why would they place tariffs on the United States? Make that make sense?
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
This is a move Trump himself didn't even want to take. He was forced to do so by the American energy sector. Trump wants america to become completely free of any foreign dependence. The only thing Canada has that the United States depends on is their energy for the Northern US. Trump has slashed regulations and opened land for American companies to start drilling and providing their own energy to the US. They decided against it for record profits. This will for e them to start drilling in the US by making it cheaper than getting energy from Canada. This has nothing to do with Russia. If it did, the US could get all the cheap oil and natural gas as he wants. Putin would give it to the US for free. Trump could careless about Russia or Putin. He wants american energy companys to start doing their jobs and provide energy to the american people at a reasonable cost. But all they are worried about is their record profits.

There is a trade deficit where we lose billions of dollars to Canada. People who don't understand all the facts need to stop. He's just been exposed, and like the criminal Democrats of the United States, they will never admit it, they just keep digging in their heels.

It is quite apparent that bluffs and bullying are not good approaches in dealing with our close allies. We have put the United States in a very shameful standing around the world. I just don't know what is exactly we are doing. Our economy is showing decline and we are losing our friends. So what is the expected end game here?
|

As a Canadian, I have to say that we must get rid of Trudeau ASAP. This man is dangerous. How can he form alliances with Europe when our principal economic partner is the United-States. He's playing a very dangerous game and I don't like it one bit!

DO NOT GET RID OF MY INTERNET ( starlink )!!! not unless you have a better alternative for me to have high-speed Internet. \nTrump is trying to set himself up and America so that they are truly the only superpower of the world that needs nobody and no connection to any other country and they dictate everything across the globe. \nThat I suppose is one way of trying to do things, but it’s going to alienate the United States from the majority of the world, and will bring China closer to everyone else. And most obvious is these lining everything up for a civil war

Trumps own words, “Vote for me, you will never have to vote again!”
\nThis one is showing up on several pages. Make up your own mind.
\nThere is something rancid in America, a slow, creeping rot that smells like cold McDonald’s fries, aerosol hairspray, and the unmistakable musk of a country too sedated to recognize its own hostage situation. For years, the idea that Donald Trump was compromised by Russia was dismissed as paranoid fantasy—just another wild-eyed conspiracy theory, another overblown headline in the endless saga of American political dysfunction.
\nBut now, two former Soviet intelligence officers—Alnur Mussayev and Yuri Shvets—are saying it outright: Trump was recruited by the KGB in 1987, groomed as an asset, and remains under Russian control to this day.
\nAnd the worst part? He’s already back in the White House.
\nThat’s right, America. You did it. You walked face-first into the banana peel of history, slipped, and fell straight into the arms of Vladimir Putin. Trump was kicked out in 2020, spent four years plotting his comeback, and now he’s returned, like a bloated, orange cockroach that just won’t die. The Kremlin’s favorite stooge is running the country again, and this time, he knows exactly how to stay in power.
\nIf you think this is just another round of the Trump Show, you’re not paying attention. This isn’t politics anymore. This is treason. This is foreign subversion. This is a God forsaken coup in slow motion.
\nLet’s break it down, nice and simple.
\nAlnur Mussayev isn’t some Twitter conspiracy theorist with a tinfoil hat and a podcast. He’s the former head of Kazakhstan’s National Security Committee, which means he knows exactly how Russian intelligence works—because he was part of the system. And what he’s saying should make every American’s blood run cold.
\nAccording to Mussayev, Trump was identified, recruited, and compromised by the KGB in 1987 during his first trip to Moscow. They saw him for what he was: a narcissistic, greedy, attention-starved buffoon who could be easily manipulated. The KGB flattered him, promised him business deals, and planted the seeds of political ambition in his empty little head. And from that moment on, he was their man.
\nBut Mussayev isn’t alone. Former KGB major Yuri Shvets said the exact same thing in 2021: Trump was cultivated by Soviet intelligence because he was an easy mark—too stupid to realize he was being played, too egotistical to care. They saw him as a useful idiot—a man who could one day be nudged into power, a walking, talking Trojan Horse for Russian interests.
\nAnd now? The plan has worked. Trump spent four years in office weakening America from within, got booted out, and now he’s back for round two.
\nIf you had told the American public in 1962 that a Soviet-backed asset would one day sit in the White House, they would have burned Washington to the ground before letting it happen. But today? Nobody seems to care.
\nThe media treats this like just another wacky subplot in the never-ending Trump reality show. Congress is too busy fighting over meaningless culture war nonsense to do anything about it. And the American public? Exhausted. Numb. Checked out. Years of scandals—Russia collusion, Ukraine blackmail, classified documents, tax fraud, sexual assault, an attempted coup—have fried the country’s brain like an overcooked steak at Mar-a-Lago.
\nTrump has done the impossible. He has committed so many crimes, so openly, so brazenly, that none of them matter anymore.
\nAnd now, with Mussayev’s revelation that Trump is an active foreign asset, we have finally reached the point where the biggest political scandal in American history is met with a collective shrug.
\nThis is how democracy dies—not with a bang, but with a goddamn eye-roll.
\nThis is the part where the skeptics start clutching their pearls. “Oh, come on,” they say. “If Trump were really a Russian asset, wouldn’t there be more proof?”
\nTo which I say: Are you blind, or just willfully stupid?
\nLet’s go through the evidence, shall we?
\nTrump spent his entire first term doing exactly what Russia wanted. He attacked NATO, calling it “obsolete” and threatening to pull the U.S. out. He tried to blackmail Ukraine into manufacturing dirt on Joe Biden, because weakening Ukraine helps one man and one man only: Vladimir Putin. He pulled U.S. troops out of Syria, handing power over to Russian forces. He picked fights with Canada and Europe while cozying up to dictators.
\nEven now, in his second term, he is more openly pro-Putin than ever. He has made it clear that he will not protect NATO allies from Russian aggression. He is actively dismantling America’s alliances, just as Russia planned. And while Americans scream at each other over whether Target should sell rainbow t-shirts, Trump is quietly selling the country to the Kremlin.
\nAt some point, you have to stop calling it a coincidence and start calling it what it is: treason.
\nThe United States is running out of time. If Trump serves out this term without being removed, America as a functioning democracy is finished.
\nThe media needs to wake up. Enough with the “Trump fatigue” excuse. This is not just another scandal—this is the single greatest infiltration of American power in history. Journalists need to dig into Mussayev’s claims, demand declassification of intelligence files, and treat this like the national emergency that it is.
\nCongress needs to subpoena Mussayev immediately. His testimony must be public, and every document he has should be reviewed. If there is proof that Trump has been compromised since the 1980s, the American people need to know.
\nThe Justice Department needs to stop pretending that Trump is just another politician. If there is evidence that the sitting president of the United States is working in Russia’s interests, he must be removed from office and prosecuted for espionage.
\nAnd the American public? You have one last chance. This is not about Republican vs. Democrat. This is not about taxes, gas prices, or whatever nonsense outrage is dominating the news today. This is about whether the United States remains a sovereign nation, or if we spend the rest of the century as a Russian client state with a golf course.
\nThe sheer volume of Trump's corruption, the blatant nature of his crimes, the mountain of evidence that should have ended his political career a hundred times over—none of it mattered. He survived it all, not because he was innocent, but because he drowned the country in so much scandal that nothing stuck.
\nBut this time, it’s different. If Mussayev and Shvets are right, this isn’t just another chapter in the endless Trump circus. This is the culmination of a decades-long Russian intelligence operation to install an asset in the White House.
\nThere is no coming back from this. If America lets Trump serve out this term without removing him, then the United States as a democratic republic is finished. The country won’t collapse overnight. There won’t be tanks in the streets. Instead, the destruction of democracy will happen in slow motion—buried under lawsuits, propaganda, and corruption so blatant that people stop caring.
\nIf America lets this happen—if Trump is allowed to complete his mission—then Putin wins. The West crumbles. And the people who could have stopped it will look back, years from now, and wonder how they let it happen.
\nGood night, and good luck. Because if people don’t wake up, America is going to sleepwalk straight into its own funeral.

CNN, since you don't educate or inform your viewers on the underlying issues, allow me to do the honors.\n\n900,000,000,000 dollars. That is the Trade deficit the United States carried with Canada last year, almost a trillion dollars of lost production; lost profit and lost jobs and lost income for working class Americans. In addition to this Trade Deficit, U.S. exporters face possible 5 to 10 percent taxes in the form of sales taxes from some provinces and the federal government. Mr. Trump is trying to level the playing field which will even this deficit. This is fair for both parties. Tradeau knows this, but being a leftist and a globalist, he will say all manner of things against Trump.

As a United States citizen, I stand with Canada. Trump is a tyrant.

I’m a Canadian and no fan of Prime Minister Trudeau. It’s unfortunate the best speech he ever gave was after he resigned as Prime Minister. What he has said in this speech is absolutely true, despite the fact, I think Trump is doing some good things for the USA. This Terrif war with your neighbour is stupid. Unfortunately for us in Canada our Prime Minister has not given us the tools and freedom to grow economically and prosper the way we should have. Canadians should be living like Kings, but unfortunately are living paycheque to paycheque because of the stranglehold that our Prime Minister has put on businesses and its citizens. Now Canada has very little leverage, I believe to fight this Terrif war. Canada has become a pure Cradic nightmare, like the previous administration in the United States were overtaxed over regulated and spend money like drunken sailors on stupid things that don’t help us grow and prosper.
|

Imagine if Trudeau announced that he would be pausing the carbon tax on the Canadian people to help offset some of the costs imposed on us by the United States. Do I respect that he is standing up for Canadians...Yes! Is Donald foolish in creating a trade dispute between his closest friends and Allies...Yes! Who's going to suffer....everyone! Government screwing over the people continues as it always have.

All the Americans that fell for this and “Stand with Canada “ should pack your bags and move to that Liberal Country! Don’t forget to leave your firearms here in the United States ??!!

How dare our president and his cronies blame Canada for the US drug addicts demand for drugs from our southern borders. All the drug cartels in Mexico. Central America and South America would not be smuggling their drugs to the United States of America if there isn't a demand for it. Suddenly, it's Canadians fault?!

Brilliant speak from the Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau, absolutely brilliant. tRUMP will respond in his usual fashion...child like speaking ignorant and full of lies and praise for himself just watch. Is this what republicans voted for, trade wars with what were once strong allies, stripping Federal Departments that ensured well being for needed services. tRUMP and his administration this is a nightmare for not just the United States but the world.

Trump is trying to manufacture a pretext for invading Canada. Trump will soon state that due to Canada's illegal tariffs that are stopping the supply of strategic goods necessary for the security of the United States, he is ordering the US military to invade Canada to secure the supply of those assets. US military of all ranks, you have sworn an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies. Trump is a traitor, he is betraying his allies, he is betraying the Constitution, he is dismantling the system of checks and balances that are enshrined in the Constitution. Trump is the enemy, do your duty and stop him. You have the training, you have the weapons, you have the reason. Fulfil your oath.

Get ready for this country's name change to United States to North America since it's going to a dictatorship direction. The boarders aren't to keep immigrants out. It's to keep us from escaping, putting us in the same situation as North Korea. I also don't put it past that fentanyl is being supplied by the U.S. government the same way the CIA did it in contra-crack. Ladies and gentlemen we are going to be in a civil war soon because of this man and his group. Trump's presidency must end quickly.

Looking in from the out side I applaud Trudeau on his speech. But........ Canada needs the USA more than the USA needs Canada. Trump is who the United States elected by a majority. No games..... no fraud..... He IS THE Average large pickup driving, loud and rude American. He Is America and the rest of the world needs to take note.\n\n To be fair, in historical terms, the USA was created to be isolated and different than Europe. They went to War to become an independent country away from Europe. This whole idea that they follow Europe everywhere is only a small blip in history since WW2, they were never set up to be that.\n\n If Anything, the rest of the world should see there mistake in becoming so dependent on the USA. You should never put that much faith and trust in just one country.

Why do we call Trump the president of the United States when he is clearly a Kremlin agent?
