When any tourist go to Sri Lanka after touring India, he or she realises how chaotic and filthy most Indian cities are. Other than inside metro trains, Indian roads are just filth dumps. Shocking to see the state of cleanliness of tourist attractions like Mthaura, Vrindavan etc etc. On top immigration officials in India seem to think they are doing a favor for the tourists who are coming to spend dollars and know their country!! There's complete sense of apathy and misplaced over confidence! Countries around India, like Sri Lanka, Nepal are way much better in cleanliness and other behavioural aspects !!

The high rejection rate is because of behaviour of too many Indians overseas. Plus India is a high risk Country when it comes to immigration. So visa availability and rejections will be intense.

The reason is that some Indian finds it difficult to integrates.\n\n I know one Indian lady that have lived in one country for over 20 years and the lady cannot speak the language of that country. What a shame! \n\nSecondly, many of them like to dominate or discriminate against other people. It has been alleged that some Indian people discriminate against others in many places they work. For instance! Where their people are in charge in Canada, they will not offer jobs to none Indian. Australia has finally realised the impact of high immigration. The Labour government left the door open leading to high numbers of immigrants coming in. Now no one can afford to buy a house, the country’s infrastructure is under pressure.

Believe or not because of the behavioural issues also become one reason for rejection. Maybe not a big reason but it definitely should consider. Any immigrant who enters to a country must obey the rules and policies, respect others, environment, culture etc. in Canada from some cities other nations are moving out out due this people are trying to make here as their country in all aspects. Indians are not tourists, they all look into immigrating to other countries.

UK may be refusing 17% of visas however Indians were the highest number of migrants into uk year ending June 24. 86% migration into Uk was from non EU countries and Indian was the most common nationality for non-EU+ immigration for both work-related (116,000) and study-related (127,000) reasons in YE June 2024.

The EU is becoming more xenophobic because of their immigration crisis. This is not specifically against Indians. The rejection rates rise also for African countries, Turkey, Russia, Central Asian and other countries. The only exception is the countries that agree to align fully their foreign and internal policies with Brussels (the new European colonies also known as the EU candidates).

What is you point? So you want the west flood with Indian Immigrants? Look at the size of population in India, also count the application and also do research on indian assylum seekers in western countries. \nGDP is not a single factor, also see how much does an average Indian earns ?

Many countries fed up with mass immigration of Indians corresponding with similar amount of illegal immigrants (Mainly from Punjab, Haryana and Gujarat). They don't add any value and it is a psychological war.

Palkhi as much as I like watching your news your views here need to address real issues. I am a proud Indian who has lived in the UK for over 50 years. However I have to say whilst there are a lot of highly skilled Indian immigrants on work visas who contribute immensely to this country. however we now have a huge community of Indians those who have come over on illegal documents or on holiday visas and then never go back. They end up working in menial jobs or not working at all and perhaps this is an issue India needs to address. Sadly these immigrants will never be an economically contributing asset to this country or any other country and I am not surprised that the visa rate rejection is so high.

They don’t care about Canada but come here and force us to adapt while we’re in a housing and economic crisis and overpopulated and just finished lockdowns and layoffs and are being a gaslit into thinking we’re racist for seeing only one culture in our own country. it’s quite something especially for us who are still struggling to pay bills and make any money and have any joy in life seeing people come and claim victimhood in a place they just got too on purpose is quite appalling. The process for Visa and the backup documents is pretty transparent and available at the country's or VFS website. I have been travelling to Europe and my visa has not been rejected. But I still do see a lot of people not understanding the process, documentation required. The documentation is usually about proof of stay, proof of travel and proof of financial strength. Please do not talk about the 5th largest economy. We are 143rd in GDP per capita. Among the illegal immigrants into USA India ranks third, to the UK it ranks 9th and is a significant number into the EU. With immigration a hot topic in the west today, this was inevitable.

I worked in India for 6 years and then shifted abroad for a Masters, and now I am pursuing a fully funded PhD. In the UK, what I have observed is that the crop of students arriving from India are by the day lesser inclined towards studies and more in pursuit of the quick buck. Yes, getting a ‘UK based work experience’ is necessary to build the edge to compete against the wider international students post graduation and I have myself worked part-time in profiles which complimented my course in parallel to prioritising studies. However, the increasing trend amongst the masses (I do not want to generalise but yes this is unfortunately true and especially from certain states, the case is magnified: Read Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana) remains getting that student visa to earn quick buck to support themselves financially, chiefly, save up to dole out to so called ‘assignment writers’ which helps them pass the course to further graduate and transfer to a grad visa (again comes at a cost) which allows them 2 years worth of stay with no working hour stipulation post graduation. Thereon, work full time in laborious jobs with again not focussing on applying to full time opportunities in the field of study. Thus, what remains at the end of the day is lost time and opportunity and since I am only talking of people who come here on a Student VISA so primarily, the opportunity cost lost to upskill and further horizons. For the country’s perspective, getting cheap, skilled labour for an unskilled job is obviously an advantage but then there are cases of students not respecting their working hour restrictions, vandalising, bickering loudly, joining hands with the already operating extremist forces which instigate violence and hatred etc. In all, I think the resistance to not becoming bicultural which is a product of serious mental and physical toil and wasting time in frivolity is the main cause of the anti-immigration wave.

First of all . I am an Indian living in Australia. \n1. The way some of us are behaving in these countries is the worst . Instead of respecting their culture and laws, we start behaving in the same way as in India .\n2. I don't want to put it out, but some people from certain places have a ready solution even if the immigration change their rules . They know every means to cheat their way in. \n3. Take, for example, 200 people come from other countries and do nonsense in India. Will we allow them ? Improve trade and cut H4 visas for US as i have no idea on other countries. H4 visa housewives will really depressed in a country like US. because of depression crime rate will be more.? sometimes you wont have any indian friends near by even it has more indian immigrants. Give jobs to indians who are living there for generations. They must have contributed tons of inputs larger foreign trade income etc... Ask their inputs and India should make policies supportive or non supportive to indians. Dont send indians. They will suffer. As a indian we are nice people. help if you see any indians suffering in foreign countries. Please give help line to come back home . lot of movies you see in india shows immigrant suffering. those are all true. dont go unless you are rich and have billions of dollars. Increase jobs/ Salary/ skill training here. also improve immigration policies on other countries where indian immigrants is less. lot of foreign countries have worst weather. I've been to several embassies Western and other European Non Western embassies in India over the past 25 years and most of them don't allow Indian visa applicants inside the Embassy/Consulate. Some allow Indian visa applicants only at the entrance or only inside the gate not beyond. Others allow Indian visa applicants only at the gate and you hand your application and passport to the security. It depends on what kind of visa of course. If it's for tourism or a short term visa then you're not allowed inside. If it's long term then some embassies interview you so those embassies allow. But the embassies of those very countries in countries other than India are much more open and you can actually go inside the embassy and speak to consular officers etc. In India in most Western embassies and even some Non Western embassies you cannot do that unless you're applying for long term visa or immigration etc.

I think the rabid immigration should stop as it will damage Indias reputation even more especially with the quality of people who are going abroad. The countries who give them visas are fully aware that there are universities that earn them forex but this could be really damaging to their countries. What happened in Canada is of course an extreme case and other countries can probably learn from it \n\nAlso India should restrict exit and not give out loans to people who do not intend to return. That will also help curb some of the illegal exits.

The problem is fear that Indians will travel to the West and not go back. Not just Indians, but Africans, South Americans and many Asian countries do the same. I've lived in the US for 55 years. There was an Indian music troop that came to the US to perform, maybe 20 people, including singers, musicians, comedians etc. After their tour in the US, half of them did not return to India. They figured they can make a better living in the US and live here as an illegal immigrant. This is too common. The next time when a troop of musicians want a US visa, chances are the immigration office will think twice about approving a visa. I can travel anywhere with a US passport because people know that Americans will return back to the US.

Of course thats standard requirements. No country would want illegal immigrants. Dont be bias, look at those who got the visas. They have proof of financial capabilities as well as accomodation and return tickets

Regardless of many reasons for rejection, we as a country shouldn't turn blind eye to illegal methods to obtain visa or illegal immigration. Countries do not just reject visas for no reason. Probably because in there data many Indian Nationals over-stay there visa and stay there for good even though tourist visa already expired. Immigration can determined who is entering and departing in their port of entries. Many Indian nationals stay in a country undocumented that's the reason of visa rejection!

There is no 'Right to Immigration' in the world. Immigration is gradually ruining the host country, their culture and depleting resources. India should also implement strict visa rules for all countries.

Indian Government should voluntarily help countries to deport illegal Indian immigrants. Though majority of Indians travel abroad for holidaying , around 25% of them try to illegally settle in host countries . This is not just problem of Indians, even Pakistanis & Bangladeshis also has same mentality. Hence GOI should bring in strict rules and mechanism to stop illegal migration from India . This will boost confidence on Indian passport .

Indians are peddled this dream that everything outside is a heaven since early childhood. They see pictures of skyscrapers in Manhattan, London and Frankfurt and think everyone is living like that outside. These people are further brainwashed by immigration agencies and disguised human traffickers to put lakhs or even crores on the line for just going outside. I agree with the ranking, and the west doesn't need indian talent, india needs the west. Keep your talent, that way you won't need any visa. Non white anti immigration hate is quite high among local public in all these countries mentioned. Infact very high. There is pressure on governments to clamp down immigration to win elections. Race does play a part in such policies and i can confirm India certainly is in limelight in these countries when it comes to immigration.

The Rejection rate is still very low . India can also do more to prevent illegal immigration to other countries. That gives all Indians a bad image and more scrutiny when they apply for a Visa. Like Requiring all Indians travelling overseas to have a return ticket and digital copy of their Visa, passport that can be accessed by the Indian embassy in the country they plan to visit . So if they are illegals or lose their passport, the India Embassy/Gov will know or be able to help them with a new passport to travel back to India. Digital copy is to be submitted to the Indian Embassy in the country they plan to visit days before departure, with conformation .\n\n These simple steps will bring more credibility to Indian Passport holders.
