Glad to see this talk. I will vote for your party again for the third time. Call me a racist, I don't care but the country is going downhill too quickly. I definitely want to get Trudeau and the communism out of the politics in the country. My heart just lies with this party platform. I want Pierre to win but I will vote for this man and his party. I don't live in Canada, I left Canada 25 years ago and live in Asia. But I see and hear and feel how bad it has become. I hope that life in Canada can stabilize at least.

Can they get a hearing or their way in their very own places of origin? Ask them to arm-twist Modi or their Govts to get their desires fulfilled. They can't & don't, and so try their luck & stunts elsewhere, with people who r extremely polite, soft-spoken, courteous, honest, etc brought up in morals, principles & ethics. They all have some political connection there or back home, to b emboldened. The Canadian PM has no say as he is dancing on their very sizeable support there, to cling to power, nurturing Anti-India sentiments, and who hv multiplied like mice making d indigenous ppl a minority in their own lands & soon wd hollow up d place like termites to destroy Canada, Australia, UK, Germany, and every country abroad. Immediate Action need to b taken immediately for them to survive or else these developed countries wd soon turn third world. These r not just Indians, but d vast majority of Asians, barring a genuine handful, with d same aggressive dubious mentality to fast spread their deadly tentacles. Germany needs some types of skilled workers (doctors, nurses, IT engineers, etc.), but they want people who can think like a German for other office jobs. \n\nI am not a huge fan of German culture after living for 13 years but my home country Japan isn´t better for foreigners on many aspects..\n\nGerman taxation system and company cultures in the IT industry are not competitive with the US or Canada. Within Europe, I envy the digitalization of the governmental sectors in the Netherlands.\n\nThe skilled workers who may enjoy living here are the people who love the German culture. My understanding is that that is a minority, most of the foreigners I know in this country are not thrilled with the ´fun´ factor.\n\nThe people from politically unstable countries appreciate the German democracy and rules of law, which I agree with except for the accompanying bureaucracy. And the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is whole lot more scary than the German counterpart, which should not be any problem for legal skilled workers, though.

Massive country with big potentials and plenty of resources! Yet, Canada is facing high cost of living, housing crisis , tight job market...the answer is one political system! If it s done right immigration can improve Canada s economy creating a big success.

For the good of Canada and the Canadian people the People’s Party of Canada, and its leader Maxime Bernier, need to swallow their pride, and withdraw from politics. Very fair assessment \nOne thing to add is assimilation. Canada is known for its multiculturalism. However, I think it becomes problematic when sectors of society do not communicate in English and tend to commerce only amongst their own communities. It doesn't feel like a united country, just fragments of different groups. \nAs well, many groups bringing the politics of their country here, this not just targeting Indians but it is an issue, and I think it's causing a lot of issues in Canada.\nThank you for your fair assessment.

I think in the last 10 years Europe and North America has made a special effort to import dregs of society from every country on the pretext that they are 'refugees', 'students' and that West needs to shore up it's falling birth rate. I think the real reason is certain political parties in the West want to subdue it's own population with the help of these violent and/or unsavory elements.

Canadian here with what I hope is a level headed view.\n\nI would say that the biggest issue and problem is to be laid at the Liberal Party's feet. Both Canadians and Indians are Pawns in a political game of Chess. Trudeau and his administration are using the Imagination community for votes. This also means that so as not to offend Immigrants new to the country, Canadian ways, traditions, lifestyles, ect. are targeted by the Liberal government.\n\nAs an example, If I went anywhere in the Middle East, I would be expected to respect and adhere to the laws and traditions of the country I am in. BUT, here in Canada, it is becoming no longer acceptable to celebrate our heritage, traditions or even holidays as it might offend Immigrants.\n\nThat's an idea as to the bigger picture.\n\nThe smaller picture is stupid things like an Immigrant the his or her diet doesn't allow the ingestion of Pork/Ham/Bacon.... but say orders a Bacon Cheese Burger then makes a scene because he or she isn't allowed to eat pork... and eventually is given the meal for free. Or in one case the restaurant offered to pay for the entire meal in which the 5 immigrants at the table drank $350 in Alcohol. Yes I have witnessed both. \n\nThere are also cultural issues which cause friction. The language barrier being one major. Especially when an Immigrant tries to claim he or she cannot speak the English or French but holds a valid Driver's license. The license could not be held if the individual doesn't speak English or French. \n\nRegardless, individual issues are small when confronted with a government that treats everyone as Pawns.

I am in the country in rural Northern Ontario and I must say life is still grand! I do avoid the major cities as they are too busy, too much traffic, and yes too much homelessness! This is due to ALL POLITICAL PARTIES NOT INVESTING IN GOOD CHEAP HOUSING! Yes, it is a problem with ALL the political parties, NONE have addressed it, from even before Harper to Trudeau today! This needs to be addressed! \nBut our life in rural Canada is still very good. I do not complain about paying high taxes if I know that my money aids others with health care and social programs! My experiance with German culture is kind of simillier. All though I am not from Germany but from Austria.\nThe simillierities are kinda parallel. \n- The housing market is getting worse everyday.\n- Compared to the other countries the job market is not that matured. Specially in tech. The salaries are capped and you can reach the ceiling super quickly.\n- All though I don't have any friends here, my overall experience with people weren't that bad, specially considering I don't speak German.\n- Occational racism? sure. But there were good people as well. And I think there are bad people everywhere.\n\nAll though I was mentally at a bad place after a year living in here, what helped me better my mental health was realizing that my worth does not comes from other people, and not everyone needs to me my friend. \n\nTips if you're a newcomer.\n- Realize that people are not cold because you look different, but sometimes its the culture, so do not take it personally.\n- Be polite to other people and don't be apologetic if you can not speak german while taking services, often time speaking in easy english without thinking of grammers helped me making people feel easy to communicate with me.\n- Meeting people would be hard, so rather than trying to make friends everywhere try to join an activity that you actually enjoy, often time you will meet likeminded people that you can build true friendship with.\n- And be respectful to their culture.

Nothing wrong with foreign workers but allowing workers from one central area of the world was really stupid. It’s now breeding resentment, racisms and hate which is unfortunate. However, this country experienced a severe shortage of workers after Covid, Canadians were not jumping to return to work to face low paying, low end employment. But, this was not the answer. At the very least, immigration should have been balanced across many world communities. But it wasn’t, only South East Asians were permitted in via this advance scream. I have seen Indian Nationals very polite and very attentive, smart and groomed.\nUnfortunately most of Indian Nationals don't regard others, bargaining for even 5 dollars, entitled, sorry but some don't even shower for weeks, that is very uncomfortable. I don't want Canada to become that, I came to this country for a reason, it is a great country, please don't bring that here. Not everyone is like that but unfortunately, I believe most of them. Another problem is that they are too many, I moved to Canada, not to India.

When you try to change a country's culture, you find resistance. If you want India here, go back there. Don't turn Canada into the shithole India is. Stereotyping is always based in truth. Own the problem and fix it. Canada has always been receptive to Indians and Indians have always melded well, worked hard, bought land and businesses and have been excellent citizens. Now, we see tribal feuds in BC, illegally armed citizens, open violence and yes Brampton, the worst drivers in Canada. I have three new immigrant families as neighbors and all are polite, quiet people who just want to exists peacefully. Unfortunately, many new arrivals do no fit that mould. Crapping on a beach or in a parking lot is not tolerated here and there is video evidence of the latter on YouTube.

Core and the only Problem is that, Indian Government doesn’t give a fuck abt his own people. Folks just want to hoard money by being in Politics and no actual development in the country. i have been in Canada since grade 6. been here almost 40 years but i am not sure where i should go. i think USA is one good option but its messy there also. not sure which country would be best but i am still well settles financially in Canada and i am still loyal to this land. i think we will be ok here if we just get rid of jagmeet and justin. they are not good leaders as they are not public servants but they divide people go for vote bank politics. many of the European countries the same kind of politicians have ruined it there also. USA is the only one but democrats have made a mess there.

I am an Indian and I am disgusted to see what fellow Indians have done to Canada! They come here with their total lack of civic sense! I was born and raised in Calcutta as we navigated daily through filth and dirt on the streets - not only because of the poor on the street - but bec of everyone else who walks around and thinks nothing of throwing their garbage on the streets, spitting and blowing their noses on the streets and even in buildings - stairway landings, or peeing in the open - in public spaces or against building walls, etc.. Narcissistic, selfish drivers who cut people off, break the traffic rules, grab parking spots, etc.. They come here and make every effort to Indianize Canada - to make this into India instead of respecting this country that has generously and (ignorantly!!) allowed them in!! If they want to live their Indian culture in an 'Indian environment' - then for goodness sake - GO BACK TO INDIA and clean up that country your call your 'matri bhoomi' - your Mother!! The presenter is right - Indians (and Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis too included here - all with the same mentality!) have dragged down the customer service experience in stores and restaurants. Indians are usually polite but they are not good at maintaining a high standard of customer service! Employees in Walmart, Costco, Tim Hortons (especially!), etc., are seen standing around, chatting with each other in their Indian languages instead of being professionally attentive to customers. The shopping experience is not pleasant like it was 25 years ago!! Your remarks are not harsh and Indians NEED to take it personally and be embarrassed into doing the necessary to make the changes they need to. We immigrated to Canada not to come to 'another India' - we came to Canada and would like to live in this country to appreciate it's uniqueness and contribute to maintaining it the way it has been! India has to choose one thing , that is producing quality of development like building more production based plants because we have less natural resources and to improve quality of practical knowledge in studies. political imbalance in the time of elections and corruption is the main problem and that cant be solved in India even when we reach 50 years from now . For people, its do or die situation now. either become rich in this country or flew to another country . these are the only situations that people mainly think about now.?

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. This is to tatget indians only due to political issues i guess. Time has come india to build its country matching western countries it will only happens when governments work for common people not for Business tycoons. Canadian politics at its best. Divide the immigrants and blame the drugs, the Chinese bring into country, driving the housing prices to south Asian workers. Anyone read the job criteria for the past 20 years: must speak Cantonese or Mandarin. Government should have focused more on loopholes, for instance, a visitor converting his visa into work permit, contract marriages, and entering into the country, on the basis of spouse visa, no basic sense, getting permanent residence card to useless people, instead of hard working students, who are contributing tot he Canadian economy, government failed to take actions becomes of community or ethnicity politics. However, finally, they woke up today with this move.
