I have watched several interviews with different Canadian officials who adamantly convey that it's not the American people causing the Canadians to place tariff wars. It's the President. They know that the a president will try to brain wash the people of America into thinking otherwise.

.... Well I'll tell you what Trudeau,.... None of us people wanted these tariffs either... At least not the people who are sane... I don't even think the people who voted for Donald Trump wanted these tariffs against the rest of the world either....I really don't understand the sense behind it because this is not going to make America greater.... It's going to destroy the economy of America and whatever the country it is that he poses these tariffs on... He thinks this is a strategy for getting what he wants... But I'll tell you what, he may be shocked and sadly mistaken when he finds out that it might just backfire ...this is a very conceited attempt to get the type of economic condition that he envisions for his new Dictatorship over America....he has alienated United States from its allies in Europe as well as its allies here at home.... This is probably about as dumb as his treatment of Volodimir Zelensky that just transpired on Friday at the oval office...and that idiot Vance is the one actually that has started that little debacle....I don't know man I thought these guys had more sense than to do this kind of shit.... But see this kind of situation is not going to affect him or his billionaire buddies because they have so much money they can cushion themselves until the cows come home....these assholes don't have nothing to worry about except the American people finding an emergency way of getting his ass out of office unless he changes course on all of this... I don't know if he can be impeached or not... But it might be a smart thing to find out if it IS possible.... AND EVEN IF IT IS WE STILL HAVE HIS SITTING REPLACEMENTS STILL IN OFFICE AS WELL SO I DON'T SEE THIS GOING AWAY WITHIN THE NEXT 4 YEARS UNLESS HE COMES BACK TO HIS SENSES, AND POSSIBLY GOES TO A DOCTOR AND HAVE HIS HEAD CHECKED....\nDTheMadkat123\nFrom a borrowed phone \n....the only thing I really do support that he is doing is securing the border and dealing with immigration issues here.... That's it that's all I was hoping that he would really focus on being in the oval office, and possibly standing by Ukraine, and Israel during these evil days.... Buddying up to Putin is like the single most insane thing that has come from this as well..I just hope and pray that he comes back to his senses and backtracks on all of this shit.... Besides I like Canada House whiskey, and Canada Dry Ginger ale, and other products from Canada.... Stand strong Canadians, I love you all, and I hope we can make it through these tough times ahead...but obviously the road that we're traveling now there really is no guarantees is there ?? I’m am Ukrainian Canadian and over the last few days I see how the new US government’s policy ruining everything we all believe in so dearly: democracy, friendship, helping shoulder to those who needs support against the bloody dictators, and firing thousands of people without cause who provided cybersecurity, guarded fairness of your elections… all being flashed down the toilet. And I watch it being replaced with bulling those who is bleeding, stabbing the friends and neighbors, singing praise to the war criminals charged for crimes against humanity with unlawful deportation and transfer of 20,000 Ukrainian children into russia. Children?! And I want to ask you a question: will you be a silent bystander watching the world plummet into the hatred, redivisions of borders and the rule of heartless convicted “deal makers”? I think I know who he made the deal with... And to those who voted for him: do you still believe this will lead you and your country to greatness?? One single fact that both Moscow and Beijing celebrate watching what’s happening should raise your eyebrows and question your decision to bring this man into power. Instead of making America great again the fight for saving America just began. God help you and all of us!

They suppy the mexican cartels these drugs to make and sell which comes across Mexican borders into the US. If china regulated the precursor drugs it could stop fentanyl manufacturing in its tracks. Again 10% tariffs vs 25% tariff. There was a time that china cooperated & worked with the US on this but have since stopped.\nSo whatever is going on with the trump administration, it's clear by the numbers this isn't about fentanyl with Canada. Especially since he didn't extend the same tariffs to the country that could actually stop the making of this horrible drug.

Canada has done nothing but put out propaganda. Canada is a Liberal country that interferes with our elections. Now if I want to know how to adjust my fake eyebrows or how to talk tough while having a small population and only one neighbor that happens to be an ally and the world's super power then I'll ask Trudeau and the Canadians for their input. not sure how Canada imposing tariffs well over 200% (for decades) is being a good friend? I don't think Canadians know how much we carry you, not by buying your product, but by being severely ripped off by your government for your product. Lose the tariffs on us and we will reciprocate I'm sure.

I come from a long line of Canadian’s, I’m not a fan of Trudeau but I have to say he made me proud today standing up to the school yard bully. Don’t let his BS fool you! Look around in your own communities. Look at the health care system. How many do you know that don’t have a GP so can’t get proper care even though they are sick. The ER tells us we have to have a general practitioner to get anything done! And then there are communities like on Vancouver Island that have closed ER’s in many cities leaving the injured to drive for 2 to 4 hours to the nearest ER. Have any Canadian citizens not heard of fentanyl deaths? Or had someone within 6 people from them have related addiction issues. How many homeless people wander the streets of your communities? This list goes on and on including things like affordable groceries , affordable homes , affordable utilities! \nACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!
