I have a question for all ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS who want to enter the US: Okay, if the country opens the borders for you, what/how will you serve the country? With what resources? With what money? With what education/talent? And how can you be sure that you are BETTER than the people who are already there? I mean, there has to be a benefit to taking you in for FREE.

These people are desperate, can you imagine things being so bad in your own country that you travel thousands of miles to try to get into another one that promises a better life? It truly is sad for those who have empathy. Perhaps the United States should tackle the immigration problem by trying to make things better in other countries so those folks don't feel in need to cross over into America. Instead of stopping us aid helping other countries, and waging and supporting wars in other countries, the USA could take a different approach and actually help the world become a better place. It's crazy I know, but it just might help.

It is sad that these guys are desperate for a better life but the better longterm solution is to make things better in one's own country.

Most other countries in the world will utilize deadly force to protect their borders. The free ride is over. They are all living here on U.S. citizens backs. Democrats are naive enough to think they are harmless immigrants just looking for a better life. You know how many Chinese spies, terrorists, millions of fentanyl pills etc. were just walking in without as much as an I.D. check. That's why our cities look like post apocalyptic waste zones. I fully understand and agree with why countries deny Indians visas. Indians do not follows rules, we behave inappropriately, we think that other countries also have the lawless and 'chalta hai' attitude that is prevalent in India. And lets not even talk about GDP. All Indians must remember this by-heart. India's rank in terms of per capita GDP is 140. Yes, just saying India's GDP is 3rd or 5th doesnt present the real picture. Per capita GDP is the better representation of the 'quality' of the citizens of a country. So let's be very clear about this

Hi everyone, I'm just going to weigh in some experience here. These people have given up on their government to fix things. They had it good before when Venezuela was wealthy not so long ago. They want that back. Who wouldn't. They want a chance at a better life . They have in most cases already sold all possessions for traveling money and bribes or security. They are scared and tired of traveling. They got told to come to America by someone. I wish we could afford as a country to take them all and it be ok and they build a good life here. I wish it was like that. The system we have needs work for certain. The USA is being overwhelmed by too many coming. We have to slow the roll . But it's a bad situation for all involved. They will look for an illegal way if needed to make it. Hence the cartels step in and offer a way in exchange for money or drug smuggling and the trouble gets worse. There is no simple solution here. Rough on everyone.

Canada ?? is losing it's reputation as a welcoming ? country for international students/migrants, particularly to Indians, due to high inflation, lack of accommodations, lack of jobs, Racism etc . Reading all the comments and thinking if the effort of staying permanently is worth it! I am from Iran, have been studying here for 2 years, and reading all these disappointed comments makes me think deeply! I think it would be wiser to compare the Canada to other countries “now”. Comparing Canada to its own past and thinking of moving to another country because it’s better, doesn’t make sense. I am sure many countries are going through the same situation !

Thanks to the democrates who allowed so many illegal migrants in this country. They are shakled because they refused to voluntarely leave and to avoid riots while traveling! First and foremost, the population of India must be controlled. GOI need to make a Bharat a better country like Sweden. You don't see illegal immigration from developed European countries.

I live in a rural small town, retired, own my house and debt free . Low property tax and affordable housing and rents but in the Maritimes. Cities are the worst to survive in. I feel for all that are struggling but Canada is a great country and better than most but one must be willing to relocate to areas that they can afford to live in and still have steady work.

All these countries like Canada, US are relying on Indians, Chinese and other foreigners to run their tech economy. Indians are taking huge loans (like 40L) to sign up to their universities. Their locals are not signing up for it. They are incompetent. Foreign students are a major source for their universities. More than 95% are foreigners. If not for foreigners, then these programs will shut down. And then they poach these foreign students to work in their tech sector. Without Indians & other foreigners their tech economy will collapse. They know this. And they will also pretend that immigrants are the problem and $h1t on us. fkers.
