As a Marine Corps Veteran, a die hard patriot to the USA, and as a Trump Supporter; I do not support this. We shouldn't Impose tariffs on one of our closest allies. It should also be stated I'm not a fan of Trudeau at all, but I commend him for helping out with the fentanyl situation. Also I don't like how Trump is Siding with Russia. However I do understand his stance on not wanting to continue to send Money to Ukraine to keep the war going on longer, As we have sent them Billions of Dollars in the last three years. However as a US citizen I also have to state the the US has a history of supporting countries that were invaded in the past, which we have done up to this point in Ukraine. Correct me if I'm Wrong, but when have we just stopped supporting the invaded country and sided with the Invading country?

Please know that many Americans don’t agree with these tariffs placed on Canada either, that Canada has always been a good neighbor, always will be. These are sad and dangerous times for many US citizens with this present administration wreaking havoc on our beloved country.

I am a citizen of the United States and love my country and my family has a long history here. Had a great grandfather who fought in the Revolutionary War. But I am so ashamed of my President and so disappointed in my fellow citizens who voted for this awful man that right now I wish I was a Canadian.

It seems sad that it took an action such as the one the US government had to do, to make Canada realize that we should work together as provinces and as people. Canada knew very well that our big brother in the south has been fiscally hurting since years and had been racking up enormous government, corporate and private citizen debt. If this were to continue it would pull down every single country in the world. Perhaps if the US is becoming fiscally responsible, truly eliminate fraudulent and unnecessary spending and refocus on their local economy (just like China has been doing in the last years) the rest of the world and even Canada can finally focus on their strength and local markets. After all, don't we all miss our local stores, local artisans, vibrant neighborhoods with diverse businesses and a pride in having made in our own country? May I say that this Trump era will give the whole planet a new perspective for changing our ways, reliance on others and taking the easy and greedy road!

This will only push for every citizen of every country to buy in-house made goods. I am happy about Trump and each political imposter's from other countries representing their people that this has finally begun. Watch your domestic businesses thrive.

America should implement a federal sales tax if it's really wanting to raise federal income, not pretend it's about 'trade' and try to make other countries suffer too for what it chooses to do to it's own citizens and economy.

Trump knows Canada has been a close ally since Canada and U.S. were countries but when Canada and Mexico are taking advantage of the U.S. economically speaking and called out by President Trump, they don't know what to do. Can Mexico and Canada make it without U.S. as a trading partner? Can U.S. oil producers make enough energy for all the needs of U.S. citizens and their companies? Can U.S. farmers provide enough eggs, milk, chicken, beef, grains, etc. without Canada or Mexico?

The Drug Fentanyl is coming into the USA because Americans want it to come in .\n. I would say if you stop the flow of drugs into our country like Trump asked you to do and tighten up the border. Let us be honest, Indian students go to Canada to become a PR or a citizen! Living standard for ordinary people in India is very poor! Like Chinese, Indians want to live in western countries and bring their relatives with them! Australia has become very strict with foreign students too! You cannot jump from student visa to PR or working visa! Overstayers in AUS will soon be deported too!

The *enormous* problem with this video is the idea that _living_ in Canada is the same as the US! How can one be sure if they are not hardcore criminals, terrorists, spies, or even trained soldiers of enemy countries? In such uncertainty, how can the invaded countries be sure that an incident or incidents of such a large magnitude might not take place that, in comparison, the incident of 9/11 would look like the small incident of bursting firecrackers?But on one election promise, the president is, unfortunately, taking a complete U-turn that those students who do the master's and other higher studies should be retained and provided legal status to stay in the country as their contributions are needed to give the country the perpetual cutting edge in the highly competitive world and keep the country's status as number one. These scholars are feeling cheated that by spending huge amounts of money and contributing to the research and development during the studies, they have not only been taken for a ride but also become the main target of the deportation campaign as their status is available with the government. On the other hand, millions of undocumented workers are comparatively safe, as tracing and deporting them is not an easily achievable task. Besides, millions of foreign citizens are given entry into the country on flimsy grounds, and many of them do not even ever go to elementary school. I think even God would not be able to make out what the fuck this country has become on this issue. Almost the same is the situation with most of the EU countries, the UK, Australia, and Canada.

Do not feel sorry for Canada. I am Canadian. Canadians voted for the Liberal Socialist Government they have 3 times. The youth wanted marijuana legalized.
