I find it troubling to see why some Indians feel compelled to migrate illegally. It's disheartening to witness women and children risking their lives by crossing the Canada-US border in such a manner. This situation not only brings shame but also highlights the desperate circumstances that lead people to take such dangerous actions.

In your opening you were telling the Australian story too of paradise fumbled in the last decade or two, until you got to the homeless encampments, public opioid epidemic and laxness on crime, which hasn't gotten such a move-on here as yet. But there's no doubt that Western governments in general have refused to grapple with the rising problems of the 21st Century and done their best to import the troubles of the world. Thing is, whenever I see the news from other countries it's no better and usually worse so maybe, ironically, that small town in Saskatchewan will look better than you gave it credit for once your travels are done.

Dont call a country your home if you want to abandon it because of some troubles around you. If you were a real Canadian you would have tried to fix the country for yourself and fellow citizens. Yeah, I agree with you, I have friends that are Indians and never had a problem. If the liberal government had made sure that we had the number of houses to accept all these immigrants and they brought in the people we need and not trouble makers we wouldn't be seeing this problem. I am Canadian born citizen, unemployed, 2 and a 1/2 years. Because I didn't know that the Trudeau government in 2022 when I lost my job due to the pandemic was allowing them to import T.F.W's as executive assistance my level of experience into my industry. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get an interview withe almost 20yrs of experience and I was trying every trick in the book but a week ago I learned that they brought in over 2 years 300,000 admins at all levels from E.A's to receptionist now. So imagine my horror and shock to learn that 5 days ago. But you walk in everywhere. And it's just Indians from every part of South Asia and I am all for immigration I'm a child of an immigrant, but immigration is a science When dealing with a country like Canada, where it's designed to be many cultures like a 20 bean soup. You're supposed to try and keep it at being a 20 bean soup and within 3 years it became like a 2 bean soup. It's a science where you're replacing your dead, and then you bump it up like 10% to grow the population slowly with GDP so that you don't have so many Canadians. Unemployed and temporary foreign workers that come are employed. So everybody's contributing but the way they did the open door everybody bum rush. And over run the country. Our economy is now 60% dependent on people who aren't residents. They're temporary which means when they leave our fake economy is actually only built on 40% to 30% of Canadians. That's an economy that will crash because it's never supposed to be weighted that way, Canadians are supposed to be 60% to 70% of the economy and foreign workers are to be the rest. So we're in trouble when they finally go home, but they need to put a moratorium on PR's, Work permits, LIMA's, T.F.W's and restrict all educational institutions on how many Students they can accept so private schools don't scam students by taking their money then telling them they don't have a seat for them to attend class that is just criminal and do so untill end of 2025 and then review status again for 2026. So Canadians can have a shot at getting work and then slowly introduce them back in as needed for proper slow population growth and not just a free-for-all ability to work anywhere in the whole country. Major cities and everything like that. So people like me can finally get back to work.

Present Canadian govt is dependent on DNP of Jagmeet Singh (Khalistani supporter). He can make Trudeau dance to his tune. I went to Germany for my Masters at one of their top universities, back then (10 years ago) taken in by their great public image and a personal interest in Germany history and culture. Looking back now having also experienced living in the UK, HK and Sweden thereafter, I can understand why Germany has trouble attracting the top talents, or any ambitious individuals seeking to develop their career overseas.\n\nIt doesn't provide the money.\nIt doesn't provide a dynamic enough market and opportunities.\nIt doesn't provide the same type of diversity and excitement in truly world-class cities like London, HK etc. Don't get me started on food.\nEverything is functional but that seems to be the sole standard to aspire to. \nGermans are not the people whom you can bond easily. I agree with you leaving. I am a 3rd generation retired Canadian who used to be proud to be so. Now I am not, in fact I am embarrassed to say I am Canadian as it is nothing to be proud of. I think of how good things were in the 70's and 80's while I was young and now how bad things are today and it is truly depressing. Back then if you are willing to work, you could make a decent living, buy a car, a house and raise a family - today, good luck with that. I also didn't like the answer by the comissioner, because she told in a way that this is a responsibility by every country to take refugees. By this answer she provides the wrong signal to asylum seekers (that they can demand something from host countries) and also I don't think that it should be a respinsibility of the states, but their will. It should be win-win offer for both sides. But of course I think everybody would like to help to people in the trouble, but recources are not infinite everywhere also. I don't think I really want to know how much it's costing born and raised Canadians to support the immigrants that are coming. I knew that we were in trouble back in 2009 when Ruby Dhalla wanted immigrant seniors to be able to collect from the canada pension plan after three years, instead of the ten years.

In the U.S. you could have a gun pulled on you in a grocery strore, on the highway, in the park, at the bar...\n\nIn canada, you could walk an entire city, late at night, completely alone, and the odds of someone hurting you in anyway at all is like single digit %.
