Palkhi as much as I like watching your news your views here need to address real issues. I am a proud Indian who has lived in the UK for over 50 years. However I have to say whilst there are a lot of highly skilled Indian immigrants on work visas who contribute immensely to this country. however we now have a huge community of Indians those who have come over on illegal documents or on holiday visas and then never go back. They end up working in menial jobs or not working at all and perhaps this is an issue India needs to address. Sadly these immigrants will never be an economically contributing asset to this country or any other country and I am not surprised that the visa rate rejection is so high.

Why do you want to come to other countries in the first place yall always say india is superpower

People coming from some of the states in India such as Haryana, Gujrat, Punjab should be banned or scrutinized from traveling abroad, their only purpose to travel is to put refugee in other country and stay in other country illegally. There are many people who don't have proper documentation and also have fake documents, these people affects other genuine people who want to travel. Also the young people who just studied their intermediate or 12th class should also be banned from travel from the above mentioned states to travel abroad for studies. Moreover, People from these states don't know their manners in other country and don't know how to live or stay as per the culture of other country and fail to follow the basic manners and rules. I hate to say it but this is the truth.

Come to North East India where we respect all religions. We treat all as one

India should teach its people how to behave in other countries so that acceptance will come naturally.

It's a stupid report, obviously the visa rejection will be high if the visa applications are high from a most populated country in the world it's basic common sense , i would say India have the highest visa grant these days, I'm from India came to Australia it's not ecen harf if u have the right documents and if you're not faking anything, I'm pretty sure the rejections are mostly because of fake documents especially from Punjab and Haryana so it's good that they are not letting fake people i mean then what's the point of doing all this right way? People like me who try to come in a right way

Imdians are desperate to leave india, and most illegal immigrantion comes from india and Pakistan, these are s hole countries that have the poorest standard of living - cant blame for this.

I worked in India for 6 years and then shifted abroad for a Masters, and now I am pursuing a fully funded PhD. In the UK, what I have observed is that the crop of students arriving from India are by the day lesser inclined towards studies and more in pursuit of the quick buck. Yes, getting a ‘UK based work experience’ is necessary to build the edge to compete against the wider international students post graduation and I have myself worked part-time in profiles which complimented my course in parallel to prioritising studies. However, the increasing trend amongst the masses (I do not want to generalise but yes this is unfortunately true and especially from certain states, the case is magnified: Read Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana) remains getting that student visa to earn quick buck to support themselves financially, chiefly, save up to dole out to so called ‘assignment writers’ which helps them pass the course to further graduate and transfer to a grad visa (again comes at a cost) which allows them 2 years worth of stay with no working hour stipulation post graduation. Thereon, work full time in laborious jobs with again not focussing on applying to full time opportunities in the field of study. Thus, what remains at the end of the day is lost time and opportunity and since I am only talking of people who come here on a Student VISA so primarily, the opportunity cost lost to upskill and further horizons. For the country’s perspective, getting cheap, skilled labour for an unskilled job is obviously an advantage but then there are cases of students not respecting their working hour restrictions, vandalising, bickering loudly, joining hands with the already operating extremist forces which instigate violence and hatred etc. In all, I think the resistance to not becoming bicultural which is a product of serious mental and physical toil and wasting time in frivolity is the main cause of the anti-immigration wave.

VISA fee is open mafia. India should say if visa is rejected, 50% or more refund should come because rejections are becoming really arbitrary.

First of all . I am an Indian living in Australia. \n1. The way some of us are behaving in these countries is the worst . Instead of respecting their culture and laws, we start behaving in the same way as in India .\n2. I don't want to put it out, but some people from certain places have a ready solution even if the immigration change their rules . They know every means to cheat their way in. \n3. Take, for example, 200 people come from other countries and do nonsense in India. Will we allow them ? Noooo, right ... but right now, thousands of our Indians are damaging other countries, bringing all kinds of dirty activities we do in India .Unnecessary protests are just 0.1% of them\n\nThis is the best decision taken by the other countries and it should become more strict in the coming days

Improve trade and cut H4 visas for US as i have no idea on other countries. H4 visa housewives will really depressed in a country like US. because of depression crime rate will be more.? sometimes you wont have any indian friends near by even it has more indian immigrants. Give jobs to indians who are living there for generations. They must have contributed tons of inputs larger foreign trade income etc... Ask their inputs and India should make policies supportive or non supportive to indians. Dont send indians. They will suffer. As a indian we are nice people. help if you see any indians suffering in foreign countries. Please give help line to come back home . lot of movies you see in india shows immigrant suffering. those are all true. dont go unless you are rich and have billions of dollars. Increase jobs/ Salary/ skill training here. also improve immigration policies on other countries where indian immigrants is less. lot of foreign countries have worst weather. In those areas indians can Work from home. india should support WFH.?

I support china in this case. They built west on their land. So, no need to travel outside. Rather, west now comes to China. India needs to do the same. We got talent but we are after money. They are doing right thing. You go to submit any document at BLS which is unfortunately front offices of Indian embassies, you come back frustrated and angry. They are masters of finding faults, keep on changing required forms. It seems unrelated but I tell you support for India with Indian community is dwindling. Don’t blame the West. By your own account UAE, Australia, NZ are not technically western. I am sure getting a Visa to Japan, South Korea is equally tough. USA faces substantial illegal immigration from India mainly Gujarat. I am sure same is true of Europe. Don’t blame the passport index. How come China fares better and Singapore and Malaysia are among the best? Introspection instead of Jingoism is the solution.

It is now well known that Indians are desperate to do everything (legally or not) to get a PR in the western countries because of population explosion in India and hard life! Canada and AUS are very strict when it comes to Indian students' visa application now! It is sad that Indian Consultant agencies are scamming its own people resulting to these changes.

Indians are peddled this dream that everything outside is a heaven since early childhood. They see pictures of skyscrapers in Manhattan, London and Frankfurt and think everyone is living like that outside. These people are further brainwashed by immigration agencies and disguised human traffickers to put lakhs or even crores on the line for just going outside. They sell their lands, properties and other assets just to be able to go out pursuing a misleading dream.\n\nThis is a problem especially in states like Punjab, Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra and Kerala, where most of the people still believe that it's better living outside than inside. These are not people who don't have anything in India but rather well-to-do families that have homes and assets and families in the country. \n\nThen comes the added Western bias and negative media image through propaganda. \n\nIndia has much work to do - if the country keeps complaining, nothing will get done.

Many Indian people go to Canada on student visas and never report to the college. They end up as illegals in the USA and Canada. They come from one specific region of India. This hurts the Indian passport ranking.

Lot of Indians don't have talents and they are draining the resources here in US. They are getting loans in India and come here for Master's and then try to get jobs in tech depriving some of the Americans here the opportunity.

Being a proud Indian and living in NZ from a decade I can say it's not just the equality.\nThe amount of frauds we do in our visa application just to enter a foreign land, I can speak on behalf of NZ, makes it difficult for the next batch of applications coming from that region.\nI won't label that with racism because every country has the right to protect its borders. NZ, Aus in particular has a strong and proud Indian diaspora with more and more Indians successfully coming in every year. But we India as a large population has one of the most number of applications which also increases the chancesl of rejection.

Non white anti immigration hate is quite high among local public in all these countries mentioned. Infact very high. There is pressure on governments to clamp down immigration to win elections. Race does play a part in such policies and i can confirm India certainly is in limelight in these countries when it comes to immigration.

Ma'am, when a country makes it harder for citizens of a particular country to enter their country, it is often because of the number of recorded incidents, crime from people from said country. If there is a higher rate compared to people from other countries, then it becomes harder. Let's be honest here... Indians don't have a good reputation abroad when it comes to such things... I'm half Nigerians and at least many Nigerians acknowledge why lately, it is harder for Nigerians to get a visa (Obv crime as well.) Has nothing to do with discrimination. Also, look at the state of Canada. Nigeria and India need to focus on bettering their citizens so that less people go abroad, which also reduces the chance of certain people doing crime, to avoid making it harder for honest people from the same country to get a visa. Better the countries so that more countries open up for Indians, making the ranking go up. \n\nLastly, the passport index website shows India at 65, not 85. Why lie about that to fit your narrative? The passport index website is literally the first result that shows up on Google too... Not everything is about discrimination...

For pleasure travel to other countries, Govt of India should impose 100% tax and use that tax amount for development of domestic tourist spots. Same way for student traveling to other countries for study, Govt of India should impose 100% tax (fully refundable with interest if that student comes back to India after completion of his studies) and use that tax amount for development of domestic educational institute.

Please fact check your video. Atleast in EU shengen irregular immigration from Indian subcontinent is a social hot potato. Refer Portugal for example- theres an entire parliamentary debate this week on addressing the social havoc irregular subcontinental immigration has caused. The scenario can be true for most Mediterranean southern European countries. Ground reality is most of West is not dependent on India for skilled immigration. Infact most that comes through is low skilled labour. Skilled STE(A)M immigration is a not a high percentage. Until India changes this, the passport strength will not improve.

As an Indian staying in Australia, I feel ashamed because the genuine students are not even 10 out of 100 from India. They are just coming for work and PR, and on top of it, they are ruining the culture here. It's an absolutely correct decision for Western countries. Indeed, they should keep INDIA on BLACK LIST

For the 50 lacs Indians who work in USA directly for American clients, it feels so great not to work in India and give commission to greedy capitalists like Narayana Murthy. Client dollars come directly to their pockets and with 1 dollar = 87 rupees they reach their retirement nest egg faster and achieve FIRE (financial independence retire early) in their 40s. And yes work for 40 hours and every extra hour is extra pay. No 70 hour work per week exploitation allowed in USA.

I live in Canada. A citizen now, love this country but India is and will always be a home. Canada is facing hard times currently, which is being faced by every country now and then but even the cause root of all these problems Canada is facing right now is coming from somehow from India. The most disruptive and disturbing people are here from India only with no civic sense. They come here and do not value the Canadian culture at all. They do all sort of illegal activities and try to do jugaad in everything, from which we escaped from India. Even on political grounds, the man who somehow messed up everything was under the influence and pressure of the man having Indian roots. I love India without a doubt but we can’t deny the real facts why Indians are being hated everywhere. People in my community here ( whites, First Nations, old Indians) love me and my family because they know how we respect the culture and values and laws of Canada. But there, where people don’t know us personally, we get judgemental eyes because of our colour and we know why, it’s not all of us, but still majority of us have destroyed the image of India and yes Indians deserve to be banned now. Sorry as a British born Indian I must say this when Indians from the motherland come it pushes down the salary we natives get as big companies pay Indians from India less than natives. It is a massive problem for us local people??????? I am a proud Indian but I am also a proud Brit from my lovely west country, 80s born. We have too much illegal and legal immigration and it is a problem for us natives.
