Canada needs better immigration laws. Also better screening for those who are chosen to stay. I’ve Hurd of so many people coming to Canada just to live off of welfare and child support benefits, and many who actually want to stay to work and continue a career are deported.

I think Asia and the Middle East need to stay in their shot holes instead of coming to west and ruining it.

Close all borders these people need to stay in there own country's and rebuild

Because our prime minister wants to win the next election, and he's willing to ruin our country to do it! There is no need for people who refuse to accept our ways, language, etc. If they want to make it like the country they left, then stay there! If you refuse to at least learn the language, you're not welcome in our county, it's pretty simple. It has nothing to do with race, we just need to vet who we let in more and control how many come in LEGALLY

The problem is the poor countries have and had so many children and now there is no real life posibilities so they just look for opportunities to move to the West.\nThese poor countries still a lot of newborns and this problem needs to stoped now limmit even turist visits yet alone give out visas to stay !

It is so sad that middle eastern countries and their people believe in and run their governments by the Koran. If all of these people want it that way then they need to stay where it is the rule. If they don’t, then change it. There are many countries that would help. It couldn’t be any worse than what smugglers do to innocent humans.

I like multiculturalism and this country is founded on immigration. But we need to put cap on each country when receiving them so to maintain the balance of good mix.\n\nI get bothered why this guy statistically divide white vs others. Aa a dual citizen myself, I plan on retiring in my other country.\n\nThis country has to realize if they receive massive influx of people- they need to invest and build more infrastructure. Look at Gardiner- it's constantly on construction mode. Hire more surgeons and make better family doctor system. This government only legalized marijuana and brought more problems. We used to live near Trinity bellwood and the park is now filled with used needles. \n\nAs for homelessness, it's always been there and it got worse during economic depression (2008 mortgage crisis) and current prime rate/inflation situation. Even if you study stats from government subsidized housing, most immigrants work and get out of help but the old immigrants (whites) usually don't flip out of the situation for generations. So there is no reason to tie and blame the Indians for our old problem of homeless population. Stay on point and stop tying it down with non-related issues.

Immigration was downloaded to colleges who went hog wild and started importing half of the Punjab province in India. Services companies love this as they effectively have infinite cheap labour and therefore do not need to improve their products or services to stay competitive.

Apart from excess immigrants arriving, Canada must not lose its culture and heritage. We MUST NOT give up our traditions just because we have more immigrants. Diversity has become our adversity. I have only been in Canada for seven months now, but I noticed a few things about its economy that led to this mess. I noticed that Canada has no globalized companies, meaning the government only makes a little money from doing business with other nations. Businesses here are lazier than their neighbor, the USA, or even in my country, Vietnam, which could be due to a lack of competitors. Cad also has the biggest forest reserve and largest oil deposit but is the lowest exporter. So I wonder how on Earth it stays in the top 10 wealthiest countries with such lazy activities. Up to this point, foreigners are the biggest income of Canada; this country is truly built on immigrants. To keep the country running, it must attract more foreigners. Without int' students, how much do citizens have to pay to keep schools running? If you view it differently, the government also sells the PR through SV Visa because, let's be honest, if millions of investors have invested, there should be something or at least one globalized company, but there are none. From $75k to $200k, foreigners can buy PR for every family member. It is considered affordable for Asian families compared to the USA or Australia. On top of that, another scam is a carbon tax, which means the government needs to learn how to make money rather than invent taxes and sell dreams to foreigners.

Y’all need to stay where you are and if it’s so bad.. band together and fight back to fix said problems!! That’s what we had to do when things got outta hand!. We had to fight a revolutionary war and the a civil war after that, in order to have the country we have, or at least had until recently… That’s what everyone else needs to be doing in their own country!.. Fix your own problems, don’t just give up and run here, because that’s the easy thing to do… We don’t want y’all from all these other countries. Not trying to make your problems, our problems too!! If things are so bad.. Then it’s time for y’all to come together and stand up for yourselves, not time to tuck tail and run away!! Students are students, they need to return back after education. Why a sense being created that they can stay here forever. And then there are ghost schools. Immigration needs to be reigned in at the same time.

The wealth taken from the people, usually funneled through large mega-companies where people get many of their basic needs met, does not stay in the neighborhoods and does not go into infrastructure, jobs training, and other programs that would actually raise the standard and ease of living. \n\nInstead the wealth is concentrated, finacialized, and a small portion is given to politicians to keep the system functioning exactly as it is for the wealthy at the expense of regular people. Increased immigration only makes the lack of these basic services more apparent.

Back then my parents needed to prove and bring certain assets as part of the requirements. \n\nNow it seems they don’t really care, just come in with nothing, and the first thing to figure out is how to get the gov to pay out to sustain.\n\nHow this change came about… got no idea. \n\nAnd when looking at it culturally, that has changed as well. Being Chinese, we brought along our traditions. Those were celebrated and introduced to other Canadians, and it was a joyous thing. That being said, Canadian culture should come first and foremost. That should be understood. You are living underneath someone else’s roof, you should learn their culture and accept it. If not, why are you there.\n\nNowadays, it feels like it is a right to alter, and place your original culture above that of Canada’s. That’s just weird. Why did you move there in the first place if you can’t accept and get along with everyone else there.\n\nI decided to move back to Hong Kong because I didn’t like it, and for people that feel the same, get out of there. People that want to stay in Canada should be contributing, and live like a Canadian.\n\nProud to be Canadian, but it feels different now. Only hear crimes and homelessness, drugs… gun violence. Increase the barrier to entry to be politicians, art students should stay in art industry not in management/government. Need more STEM politicians.

The wealthy need bodies to tax and sell stuff to. If they can get $100 from a million people they can stay rich. The poor will stay poor, and the rich will stay rich.

This is out of control. Trump needs to close all borders with executive decision, shift the National Guard and Homeland Security resources to the northern border, beef up border patrol at the southern border, and institute Stay In Mexico and Stay In Canada policies with both the heads of those countries. If they will not comply drop 100% tariffs on them. Open unfettered asylum to America is over.

As a Canadian - the immigration tom-foolery that is happening is just as bad up here. Our Prime Minister is a handsome idiot, he was a drama teacher before he became Prime Minister (I know, make that one make sense). He has no idea what he's doing, he's being used as a puppet for more experienced extortionists-erm-politicians. With the help of his party members and a coalition with another party, in less than ten years he has taken Canada from a great place to visit and live to basically what's happening in NY. Crime in our cities has gone up dramatically. Theft is on the rise. Homelessness and drug use is through the roof. Immigration is out of control. And our government also prioritizes immigrants and asylum seekers before born and raised Canadian citizens. As a Canadian who is tired of the nonsense that's been happening in the world this past decade, I wish our government would put on their big boy pants and do something about this uncontrolled immigration. Things are bad here too. Our government seems to keep changing policies and laws to further accomodate the insanity that is happening, I promise, not every Canadian wants these changes to happen. We are just as sick and tired of all this nonsense as our American cousins. I wouldn't be surprised if both countries at some point united in objective and worked together to fix this problem - but that's not gonna happen anytime soon as long as these dummies are in power. But believe me, the regular people of Canada see what you're going through because it's also happening in our own back yard. Both right and left need to figure something out soon. We already have so many homeless Americans that need help. We should spend money on them. If immigrates don’t have money and a place to stay, we should not accept them.

The best way to deal with this is to make them more afraid of coming here than they are of staying where they came from. The blame for the immigration crisis really lies on the governments of the countries these people are coming from. If they had not failed their people, they wouldn't need to leave and go somewhere else

I think we just have to tell them NO and stop giving illegal immigrants a place to stay and money.. We don't need a physical border wall, just stop giving them money and they will eventually stop when they see that they will just end up laying on the streets in the cold. If they are illegal they shouldn't get anything but a ticket back to where they came from or go to jail. then put back to where they came from and make them able to come in the legal way. And if they try to pull that anchor baby trick coming over here nine months pregnant ready to pop any moment, take them to the hospital let them have their baby and don't make the baby a citizen, and send them back home too.. You are 100% correct. My friend was mugged in broad daylight. He went to hospital with his injured face - nurse simply asked him to stand in the queue. Bachare stayed there for 90 mins approx to see a junior dr in emergency. \nOne another time myself got ear pain around 1 am . Called to see where I can see a Dr. They said to go somewhere 20 km away. Once reached asked wait for hours after that they told to get olive oil . Since olive oil not covered I need to pay!.

Yes I understand his point but at the end of the day they’re still not taking any in and they should you can always return them and you can still push for them to have their lands but I don’t think they have to stay the sacrificed to do that. If they’re helping them and truly fighting for their land you should be able to remove people for safety reasons leave the fighters behind when it’s safe you can return the people and they probably should make systems in the neighbourhood areas and yeah other countries in Europe and whatever yes we all should help out each other like that I think for sure . Earning say $ 3000 a month in the Ghana for instance is better than paid $ 5000 in the States.\n\nThis is because you spend and are taxed in dollars when in the States whereas Ghana even if you are taxed in Dollars, you spend in Cedis.\n\nSome professions however makes it a bit bearable and sometimes even advantageous to work outside a home country like in the health and tech industries. \n\nTravelling permanently to another country is a life altering decision and needs a careful consideration.

This is by design. Canada needs immigrants ONLY at their peak, but doesn't want them staying beyond that. The collateral damage won't dissuade the government and lobbyists. White countries are rich regardless because of centuries of accrued interest from stolen resources, so they don't really need more citizens, just workers at their peak.

Let’s be honest you really think when whites go to other countries they adapt and simulate into that culture? ?look look at Britain when they conquer India did they assimilate into the Indian culture?
