Canadians used to be the nicest people on earth. What happened? The PM Harper is ignorant about Islam as the Koran was the first time God gave women equal rights. Speaking as a white man I have to admit I don't quite understand the need for anyone to organize as a race in Canada. First generation clubs from whatever country, sure, but as a race? Is it the elephant in the room... American slavery?  I can't help but think that most perceived problems blacks have in Canada are due to American issues we see in movies and media.\nWe in Canada bend over backwards to offer opportunity to succeed. Even touching on racism is widely and loudly crushed. I personally, as do most, give any individual the opportunities they deserve but it's up to them to screw it up or not. To me, if any minority can't make it in this society they aren't trying.\nIt's actually worse in my mind to be white male in public forums because our views and opinions are marginalized and shouted down. Why is the brother telling these guys to move away from the mosque? Whats the reason? Surely men can do heavier work. Of course there are differences between men and women, nobody is denying that. Men can learn how to knit but I can never knit as good as a woman can do it. It's just that I don't see why a woman should have to obey me. I think that grown and civilized people can discuss and work things out together. I also don't see why women have to made responsible for the behaviour of men who act primitively because of the way they dress.
