yeah I had enough of Canada too I would rather live some where else than Ontario as well! Not that I am running away from problems it just harder to find things to grow as self employed person!

Lemme lay it pretty bare as a Canadian myself… approximately 1/8 individuals (or on family scale roughly 1/5) suffers from food insecurity. That number can double when ya go farther north or into Indigenous communities thanks to food deserts…. A rich nation where more than 10% of people have to worry about something as basic as dinner day to day… if that isn’t a warning sign of a sinking ship I have no idea what is…\nOh and our housing issue is totally a cost/accessibility issue and not a shortage. There is about 3 empty residential homes/apartments per every single unhoused person living rough outside…and if we account for shelter homeless (ie those couch surfing or otherwise under a roof without a fixed residence) the rate of unhoused triples…

These days , if u tell that the truth is the truth and it goes against some corrupt person in power ,it becomes risky.. what a time we live in where right is not right and wrong is not wrong..

You don't waltz into someone's home and try to make it yours, instead be humble, courteous and show gratitude for the accommodation. Canada has been my home for the past 23 years. I will consider myself as a successful immigrant, my son born in Canada is at leading engineering university. My wife fulfilled with her career. Hard work and commitment to live and let live will take you far. Your personal belief and ideology should stay in your basement. I Respect your decision, good for yours and Canada's future.

So many people move to Canada for easy PR and settlement. It it gets tough maybe an influx of people will find some other options. Even for those looking for an easy PR, Canada isnt an ideal option considering if you want to live with your parents which is gonna be really expensive and one person cant bear the expenses of other family members

I am a Canadian living in New Jersey. I know of 60 other Canadians who are living here because of the situation in Canada. New Jersey allows persons with no legal status to get a drivers license, TAX id number, and but real-estate. A luxury home in exclusive Margate is 41.5million. 5 miles away a large home is $350k. In Mississauga a crappy home is $2million.

Thailand is the best place for retired person. Cost of living is pretty cheap. Easy to get retirement visa. Health insurance or expense are lower than many countries. Food are tasty and delicious. People are friendly and easy life. Dream place for retired person.

I have spent my life time. Life was great in the 80s and 90s. Time to live, enjoy, lots of job opportunities and saving. One person working could feed the whole family and it was a family system with shows that focused on family and discipline. Now after 40 years, its just the opposite. Gov taxes, more taxes, and at the end you are living pay check to pay check. They want to train your kids, they want both the husband and wife to work and give them half the salary.

Toronto is probably better off without this whiny little Princess. for all it's faults it is still one of the safest places to live in North America , and certainly the safest in Canada. She compares it to Tokyo which is even more overcrowded . If cost of living is the Criteria for where you live then certainly go live in Tokyo. I support this. Canada is disgustingly atheistic and going down a very dark path. As a Christian American I could not imagine living there as anyone trying to follow any religion. But yeah so I study and learn about demographics and foreign countries and cultures as a personal hobby for going on 8 years now. I recommend Morocco, Jordan, Tunisia, Oman, Kuwait, Malaysia and Singapore for Islamic countries that are safe, rule of law, and as a small extra bonus mostly US allies, but still have their islamic cultures and communities intact and do not commonly come under pro israel or UN voting pressure. Probably youll want to relocate to one of those countries. Qatar too but they have a bit of a history supporting extremist and terrorist groups so I cannot in good faith recommend living there. Bahrain Brunei and Indonesia you could try too but I don't know enough about them to recommend.

As a born and raised Canadian I made the decision to flee my homeland of 42 years the moment that the current regime came to power in 2015. I ended a highly successful, well-paid 20+ year career, sold everything I owned and was gone within six months. I am not a religious person, so that did not factor into my decision, though I knew what was coming since I had lived for years as a member of a minority that was constantly demonized by former Liberal rulers for decades.\n\nI completely understand your reasons for leaving and wish you all the best. I'm not sure if you two speak well! You are not born Muslims, it seems to me. I haven't figured it all out yet. If you want to be great Muslims, you should go live in Islamic countries. And only then will you understand how much better the West is for living. I personally think it is best for you to move to Spain. Basically you're arguing against multiculturalism, just without realising it or at least not expressing it that way.\n\nAnd although im a traditional liberal left winger, I've come to agree actually, I would hate for Canada, which is a largely secular country built upon judeo Christian beliefs end up something else entirely just to appease one particular religious group.\n\nI lived in the middle east for almost 6 years and it was a fascinating experience as well as rewarding from a career and financial perspective.\n\nOf course I had to comply with local cultural norms, which I absolutely did as I'm a respectful person but had I not done so I would have been shown the door / the inside of a prison cell. You didn’t mention the worst aspect of Canada: the dictatorship of the liberal politicians. You have no “Bill of Rights “ to prevent the oligarchs from making terribly oppressive rules that remove all rights worth mentioning. In other words, going down the path of the Progressives who despise personal freedoms (see USA).. moving to Canada would not increase our freedom to live.

As an Indigenous person in Canada I agree with you 100%. Living here my whole life I am more then aware of the racism and colonial government policies. i can live comfortably with $350-400 as a single person that does not have an own car hehe. maybe you can get a motorcycle its fine its a tropical country anyway but I own my house here in the Philippines.

I appreciate the way you present the reality. One way to cope with salaries and taxes is to open you own enterprise. This is the canadian way of growing fron a wealth point of view. As a person leaving from a salary, it is still possible to grow depending on your skills. But beggining your own business to exploit your skills will make you 'fly' to the next level, which is the actual way of growing. It took me a lot of years to realice this. Just think about it, provinces allow medecins to incorporate what means that they will pay less taxes and become richer sooner. This is just my thought, other people may think in a different way, I just try to give positive ideas.\n\nSecondly, Canada is still a country to live in a bit better than other countries considering many things happening around the world. Crime and economics is worst everywhere also. But, it all depends on what criteria counts for you. About society, it's not easy to make real friends except other inmigrants that need it too. well Canada is a soft immigration target that gives illegal/legal migrants everything away for free for as long as it takes...years. meanwhile Canadians are homeless.. Case in point, here in Kingston, the HoJo motel was purchased by the feds and houses migrants with security (3 persons per shift} 24/7/365, a fully functioning kitchen, housekeeping, tradesmen to repairs caused by the migrants, free food, clothing, bus passes, supports for healthcare, child care. I live across the street. Canadians first. Now Canada is migrating terrorist sympathizers from Palestine. This country has deteriorated rapidly under Trudeau.

Having lived in Canada, I can understand many of your arguments. A question to the wife: would you give up your right to sit equal to your husband and express your personal views when leaving Canada? Because you will surely have no equal rights in countries that practice strict Islamic law.

Idk how everyone seems to be confused why we have so much homelessness. Israels national investment firm called black rock has been buying up American housing for years. They were very outspoken about their plans to buy everything, and hold onto it indefinitely while renting it out for very high rates. Every politician has bought 50 or more homes to do this with as well. Tucker carlson has a load of them, as well as every other tv personality. People from other countries stay 10 people per home, and collectively can afford much higher rates than americans living 1 family to a home, again driving rates ever higher. Government is soley responsible for the dollar becoming worthless so quickly. Wages will never keep up. The government makes more money by cramming as many people as possible into the country, directly at the expense of quality of life for the citizens. Nobody is protecting the interests of American citizens. We are all getting robbed blind by predators while we all appear to be blind deaf and dumb. Nothing happening is an accident. Every loser creates a winner somewhere.

I came to Canada in Jan 2022 on permanent residence from India and returned back to India in November 2023. My reason to move to Canada was, I moved back to India for personal reasons after living in USA for 10 years (studies + work). I moved to Canada because I missed US, and thought it was difficult to adjust in India, and US would never give me green card anyway (due to country of birth quota). I moved to Canada with a job in hand, but opportunties are limited here. On top salaries are low, even compared to India. Healthcare is a disaster. In US, I could see a doctor next day. I had 4 surgeries done in US, multiple CT scans and countless X-rays. Never had an issue. In Canada, despite paying high taxes I fear of not able to get medical treatment and wait for months to see specialist. \nSlowly I realized, this country is not USA anyway and was naive of me to think of it as a viable replacement. I ended up returning back to India, as in end I realized India has issues, Canada has different ones but in India at least I can earn well (70 to 80K CAD while 2 BHK costs me like 500 CAD per month, 300,000 CAD for luxurious 3.5 BHK) and I can be close to my parents, the reason for which I left US. I will always miss US though. As long as I have family in India, I will never think of settling anywhere else. But the only country I would ever consider in future is USA.

Very good objective video. I grew up in Toronto and had many great experiences in the city as well as commuting from west Toronto into the city for five years of high school (grade 9 to grade13). At an very early age I used to fearlessly ride buses, street cars and the subway system with no concerns of crime or potential violence in my mind. I wouldn't suggest this now for a young person unless you have 2 or 3 marshal arts black belts in your resume! The very same circumstances exist in Vancouver...quite possibly x's 2. My family and I now live a short distance east of Vancouver, but the city has changed about 10,000% since I lived there from the late '70's to the late '90's. I don't mind saying that I believe most of the problems/issues in Toronto, Vancouver and many other cities in Canada have been accentuated by poor policy decisions at all levels of government...municipal, provincial and federal...particularly since 2015 aka the J Trudeau era. I live in Greece and personally it's fine, but IF I ever moved abroad, I would choose a beautiful little American town, like sometimes you see in the movies. With some nice nature all around it. And have a simple life there, try to marry some girl and have a nice family and barbeque with the neighbors, go fishing, etc. Why would anyone move to the big cities, I mean that is not so smart. I suppsoe small towns also need plumbers, electricians, barbers, bus drivers, whatever.

It's not Toronto but you! Do not point at the city since you the only person complaining. A lot of people do not have any complaints, if so there would not be millions and millions that live in the city

They have very narrow attitudes and live in small world. Getting dressed to show off … sad?They keep making comparison to India ….why? You have to accept what the local customs are. And the food is personal taste to each area of world. Canadian food is according to Canadian taste not indian. Each country have their own taste. They most likely miss the pollutions from India.

I’ve never been to Canada, but Sweden is cold too. We have a lot of Muslims here too but those I know personally complains about the cold too. But my dad who is a Greek immigrant always says that he lives here by choice and therefore he don’t complain about the cold. But it’s freezing here and I hate it.

My family emigrated to Vancouver about 20 years ago from Singapore like you do. That was one of the best gifts that I can give the family. Canada is one of the most livable place in the G7 countries. It maybe hard to start like everybody else. Canada can make you a complete person while Singapore make you half a person because lots of nature and beauty not there and with no voice to speak and resolve your life in Orchard road and malls only. That why you should live in Canada.

I am not muslim but I always grew up ina country with hindus, muslims, christians and I have to say all muslims I met are very peaceful and generous people. Personally, I have lots of friends who wear hijabs and I have never been bothered by it. In fact, I see it as respectful. I believe we can all live in peace no matter what our religion.

I would personally say go to Bursa or Alanya in Turkey. But even The Netherlands might be good transition from Canada. The winter also ain't as cold here as in Canada we also don't have a lot of snow here. You only don't have many locations to hear the Adhan. Just stay away from living in Amsterdam and you mostly will be allright

I live in germany and am currently struggling so much with coming to terms that I have to live here. The government and media‘s attitude towards the Palestinian struggle is so frustrating to witness. I‘m not too religious and don‘t wear the hijab, but still the societal shift against anything non-european is being felt by all of my peers and myself. Personally, I don‘t think drag shows in malls would be, or are things I‘m appaled of, but I respect your opinion!

I’m a Canadian living in Asia. Canada is a great place if you have money and a good job and house. If you’re an ordinary person it’s not so good. You’ll be working about 50 weeks a year and living paycheck to paycheck. Vacation? Savings? Buy a house? Probably not
