As FRENCH, I think it is more an issue with policies set by both governments!!! You know you bring students IN and why don’t you build houses and encourage construction???? In France, many students (mainly Africa, and French departments like Guadeloupe, Tahiti or Martinique) come to study there (for free and we are proud of it!!!) BUT - unlike Canada - we do NOT have the same issues as Canada (our healthcare is NOT under pressure and our housing prices haven’t really increased that much as compared to Canada for example!!!) to me, the students are NOT to blame!!! It is the fault of the deciders (at different level) who have FAILED to set the right policies!!!! The schools are also to blame as some (not all) are so obsessed with making profits out of the higher international fees, which by way, subsidize Canadian students!!! So in Canada (not in France or Germany), the money that allows schools to function come from international students who BRING LOTS OF MONEY for the Canadian economy!!!! in France, it is different as the universities are FREE and are fully subsidized by the French government… but yes;) you have to speak French fluently to attend them!!! \nSo dear Canadians, do not blame foreign students thanks to whom your universities thrive and remain existant!!! Without them (namely the Indians too), the Canadian universities will struggle to find money and funding! Remember, the system in France is TOTALLY different!!!!

A German official even went to the Philippines last year and begged our government to deploy Filipino healthcare workers, especially nurses, to Germany.

So have we paid a lot of taxes.. now we get nothing not even the healthcare we have all paid for..

We watched them raise the cost of living 3 times in one year while our pay stayed the exact same and gave all our money to ukraine and isreal, dont get me started on healthcare racketeering and all the fbi staged school shootings , you think we arent fully behind terrorists? They were brought here to help with the construction, healthcare, manufacturing and agriculture industries. Instead, most, if not all, entered the customer service and food industries. If you went to McDonald’s for a steak and fries, of course you’d be disappointed. We need help in building more houses and farm more produce… instead, they swarmed to take away more housing increasing the rent without building more and food from the food bank meant for Canadian families in dire need. My family immigrated to this country 2 decades ago, the decline of the quality of education, healthcare and other social aspects have been tremendously impacting everyone. This have had happen within the last few years and it is sickening.

I work in a university education setting, including mass housing. Maybe 1% is white. I can tell you, foreign students is big business. \n\nOur current employment problems, healthcare issues, and housing crises are because of this big business. Its a mess.

I'm retired from home healthcare and watched the time allotments filled by reunification foreigners while actual senior Canadians were put to the end of the line to receive assistance. Nursing and retirement home spaces are now filled with what was supposed to be reserved for Canadians who paid into the system their whole luves.

So sick of this garbage…..WE as Canadian citizens are suffering because of this mess, but the worst of it, is OUR healthcare system! I’m so angry because citizens are dying because of many hours of wait times for emergency surgery! I almost died waiting 13 hours for multiple twists in my small intestine and lost 127cm of it! I was lucky, but others aren’t so lucky! This is the worst Canada has ever been and this gov’t. is still piling foreigners in….even when they lost count of about one million???

It’s about time. Canada has the largest population of East Indians & they have to go. They are a BURDEN on jobs, housing, healthcare & social services. They KNEW they’re here temporarily whether working or attending an educational institution. \n\nCanada is FED UP being the world’s dumping ground!!!!!!

I live in Northern Ontario. I didn't update my passport so all of my disability papers and history are at the hospital. The doctor says it's not a good idea for me to move. So I'm stuck here for life. I do get free medications, free dental plan, free emergency visits, free psychiatrist appointments, free visits to my family doctor and a free disability cheque. So, on the contrary, I got it made here! No use complaining when Canadian Healthcare literally hands things to you without paying. They even deliver my meds!

Canada is a middle class country with very Rich government, politicians and businesses. Canadian healthcare is getting worst.

Here, in the small city of Shebrooke, Qc, it looks as if at least a tenth of the population is African. One would almost never see any African (outside of the area around the University) just 10 years ago. And many of them drive cars. I am sure they are getting tons of money, in addition to free healthcare, free welfare and free education, ,of course.

No it's economic survival. Our kids can't find work. TFW are taking jobs in fast food and retail, not agriculture. Their money gets sent home. It doesn't stay here and it doesn't benefit our economy. It doesn't support all of our social programs. If the next Gen can't get even part time minimum wage work then down the road who's paying for healthcare, education, welfare, CPP, OAS etc?? Agree with every word… I am a Punjabi Canadian and have been here for over 18 years. Indians are embarrassing- the square isn’t your Khalsa college fest. I have seen Indians abusing food banks, healthcare, tax dollars. The students who buy cars drive rash, rude customer service at Tim Hortons and other grocery stores. You have left india for a reason- so learn the Canadian culture and try and integrate.

Canada's most of the social welfare schemes work on the high taxes collected from working class. But Canada isn't manufacturing much stuff and exporting. So economy is still stagnant. Long waiting time for healthcare is because of huge influx of immigrants but not enough investment in medical staff. Right now there's recession too so getting job for immigrants is tough. Housing is also getting affected. Canada needs to address these issues.

Every year for the last7 years Canada's population has increased by 1 million people a year from 37 million in 2017 to 42 million 2024 and no Canadians aren't leaving behind free healthcare and second lowest taxes in the G20 you can throw you into Eden and you'll find reasons to whine. Me and my husband were considering moving to Vancouver ten years ago. Soon we realized that we wouldn't be able to make enough money to support the same standard of living as we are used to in our home country, Hungary. This summer we spent our vacation in Toronto and Vancouver, and it was a wonderful experience. However, prices went up, housing is insane. Even though we both work in IT and have connections, it seems impossible to get a salary enough for rent and food, not to mention mobility. Healthcare is also a factor. \nI hope we'll be able to visit Canada again someday though.

I've been experiencing so much discrimination here, both in in-person situations and systemic. Beyond what's said in the video, there is also an issue that it's so alienating. You can't really make friends with the locals, and then, after work, there is no cultural offer either. For example, I just can't go to the cinema in German, because everything is with German dubbing. So, you feel lonely and bored. The only thing that keeps me here is the good quality of life and good healthcare compared to some other EU countries where I lived. But now, that Germany closed its nuclear power plants and can't benefit from the cheap gas from Russia, I guess the economy will go gradually down, and so will the quality of life. And that will mean I will have no reason at all to stay.

I am Muslim and moved to Montreal with my family of 8 ( two wives and 6 offspring ) on Asylum. We were granted PR very very quickly. I was able to marry another woman and she is pregnant with my 7th child. We are all giving free healthcare, subsidized housing and food stamps. I take care of my family and help my fellow Muslims to come to Canada. This is one of the best countries to live.

My mom has to fly to Romania ?? for surgery because it’s not offered in British Columbia …. Trudeau made it ILLEGAL to access private healthcare in your own province. She has endometriosis covering organs. BC womens hopsital rejected her application because she’s past the age of 55 and post menopause. I think that our Canadian culture of showing respect and service with a smile is being lost with such an influx of migrants. It saddens me that I don’t see our own teens and workers in food service and other services now. Where did they go? Before you saw a mixture of all races in the workplace. Now it seems we are the minority who paid taxes for years, and cannot reap the rewards of home ownership or good healthcare or savings because we are taxed to the extreme with everyone else reaping the benefits. Our veterans deserve prime care and health benefits and they go homeless! Our indigenous people live in third world housing with no clean drinking water! As an international student in Canada, I can say that healthcare is not good here at all. Doctors are not willing to give prescriptions even when the pains are unbearable. Healthcare is also not cheap here. You can end up spending thousands of dollars if anything serious happens.

I live there for two decades except few years in India. People move there for opportunities and face job problem. Earlier one could manage in 2000 dollars but now 4000 is not enough. Salaries have increased but cost of living rose rapidly in the last 4-5 years. \n\nLakes are there but only produce is grass and cows fed on that. Some farming is there. Lot of forests but more than economy, it is becoming liability with very high cost of dousing wild fires. In summers, many cities are severely polluted causing health concern in only good season there. \n\nAll businesses are controlled by a few and we call them cabal. Life of new comer is like bonded labourers or slaves. \n\nPolity and healthcare we need not say anything. It is as clear as daylight \n\nPeople are moving less but are still moving there. It speaks more about condition in India.

Hey,\n\nI don’t know how popular you are but I am hoping that you (or someone else reading) can make some short shareable etiquette videos for Indian immigrants. I am constantly annoyed by the following, but because I was born in Canada, I would be cancelled for saying the things you can. I am also Indian. Here’s the list that comes to mind. I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.

To blame everything on students is not fair when student come to canada he pays tripple amount of fee for university compare to canadian born kids plus they pay for there own accommodation and food on the other hand for Ukrainian or any other countries refugee govt of Canada pays for everything food to accomodation healthcare and education still indian students are culprit

We have worked hard to set our standard of living, this is now in danger of collapsing because the government has allowed so many immigrants into Canada putting a strain on our healthcare,housing and other programs. These people are getting to use our resources without having paid into them for years like we Canadians have. Our way of life and standard of living are at risk of collapsing, we see it happening in our healthcare, affordable housing and the drain on funds for the poor. When we see them protesting about being forced to leave and how they refuse to try and take on our culture, where whole towns are being taken over by their arrogant attitude to take over these cities. In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world.\n\nThere are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions, welfare, unemployment benefits, disability benefits and the numerous other programs, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. This move doesn't address the refugee status that's used by human rights lawyers to get thugs in , playing see saw with skilled labour is dangerous when the economy needed them then Canada allowed many to enter but didn't screen properly so a lota crap slipped through, now towards elections this move also doesn't address the housing issue & public healthcare & other social related issues. Those kicked out will find employment elsewhere if they are contributing to taxes the effect may be negative.

40 years later and still waiting to see when mass immigration is supposed to start benefiting Canada. Seems financially everything keeps getting worse. Healthcare, taxes,pollution, traffic, crime. \nSeems the only ones getting rich big corporations.

Get the right people for the right jobs, if you MUST bring in immigrants!\nThere are plenty of Canadian people who can do low wage jobs. Besides, low wage jobs are a good opportunity for youngsters to learn good skills while earning some money on the side to save for college. They are NOT, and I repeat, NOT for immigrants who have other skills to bring to the Canadian market.\n\nThe IT sector needs a serious overhaul. You need people to fill up roles in corporate jobs to boost production, because Canada is seriously behind in technology. Healthcare needs serious people too. There is no point in bringing promising doctors and healthcare practitioners who can improve healthcare services and the number of capable doctors here, but have them working low wage jobs instead to make ends meet. That is unfair to those people and unfair to Canadians who need good medical services in lieu of the taxes that they pay. Canadian Experience is a joke and a very cheap trick played by the incumbent government to swindle good, deserving people of their hard-earned money.\n\nEnough of bringing in refugees into Canada and destroying the economy by giving them handfuls of money paid by Canadians themselves. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and whoever gets these handouts needs to understand that they need to return the favour with hard work and a sense of contribution towards the country that gave them hope.\n\nI am an Indian, but I still say that Canada should come first. If a government cannot fend for its people, and give them priority, then that government is a failure.

Canada’s infrastructure cannot support all these immigrants and students. Healthcare, housing, etc are strained. They need to close the gate.
