thats because indians once they land in a foreign country donot want to go back, thats reflects a very bad image of indians.. I am a legal immigrant in UK, but I see so many indians who misuse study visa to stay beyond their visa expiry and eventually become illegal immigrants just taking advantage of the system.. this reflects are very bad image.

Australia banned student intake from 4 north indian states. they have reason to do so. no country shuts door to quality immigrants. myself and my spouse (Skilled couple) got invited for PR with in 2 years of our stay in Australia.

Sorry as a British born Indian I must say this when Indians from the motherland come it pushes down the salary we natives get as big companies pay Indians from India less than natives. It is a massive problem for us local people??????? I am a proud Indian but I am also a proud Brit from my lovely west country, 80s born. How about a few more major reasons why Indian Visas are being rejected by most of the countries. It's not anti immigrant it is anti -indian sentiment because of our uncivilized behavior, breaching visa conditions and seeking asylum all over the world. It's not western world that needs our talent, in fact India needs the west to export our talent because we can't afford our population. Sadly, government officials are helping the human traffickers to create forged documents and police cases so that they can make a valid excuse. Indians are being hated everywhere because of India.

It is the prerogative of a sovereign country whether to issue a visa or not lot of people come to US and Western countries and over stay their visa and become illegal immigrants, that is why these countries are suspicious and concerned.

Indian govt should guarantee the return of any illegal Indian immigrant from these countries and there won’t be many rejections unless there is a strong reason for rejection.

I think the Canadian government needs to be a little more careful with the type of immigrants that enter the country. I don't see it as a problem to have Chinese, Japanese, Indians and other people immigrating to Canada. But I think it is also necessary to attract more people from Europe to live in the country. Canada is a country with a white majority and, if they are not careful, the country's demographics could change a lot over the years. European ancestry needs to remain alive in the country. Especially British and French. That is Canada's identity.

Mexico is an easier country to live in than the cold desert of Canada. All such videos compare themselves with the USA instead of Mexico or other neighbours of the USA. The government gives immigrants courses on skirting our laws and gives them money to start busineses, this doesnt surprise me at all, we reap what we sow as a country.

Immigration needs to be lowered. Only vetted people should be allowed. Must have similar values. Must be allowed only a certain amount from each country. \nCut back on refugees. We can't save the world if we can't take care of our own.

It is not just the number of students, it is the quality of the students. Majority of these students are not top notch or the ones who will integrate well into society. Most of the schools accepting students in Canada and Australia are businesses run by former immigrants to these countries, who saw the business opportunity of charging people to give them admissions to low quality un-ecreditted schools, which they run themselves. Then in the midde of the school years they will push students to apply for immigration or refugee status. Everyone knows what the scam is but the governments are not addressing it. I am pro immigration but the systems have changed (broken) from what they used to be 20/30 years ago.

In all the news coverage you seem to see over representation from one particular state in India. I wonder why? They go there and not only oversaturate the market, but are campaigning for their own country back home. Also, thanks a lot for ruining international travel for the rest of us. I no longer visit western countries because I don’t want to receive the “intending immigrant” treatment.

Students with expired visas should go back. But what is Canadian culture? Is it found in Quebec? Alberta? Or the Reserves? What is it exactly? Do Canadian Immigration documents require applicants to sign they will convert their religion or culture after coming here? If you would change your culture upon entering another country, good for you but you have no right to expect that kind of inauthenticity from other people. If someone changes who they are and their culture upon entering another country then they are not as real as they portray. These are the type of two faced people that can also switch sides to help your enemies if given the chance to. And the truth is no matter how much people 'assimilate' here, people with even an ounce of racism and colonialist ghosts in their head will always first see the color of their skin. I worked at a Polish Grocery store and came across a man who's lived here for 30 years and spoke 10 words of English. All they speak at that store is Polish. I loved working there but I don't see anyone making a video about European immigrants retaining their culture.

In the 1960's Ontario was conservative and Quebec was liberal. When Justin Trudeau's uncle Pierre became PM he changed the rules of immigration in order to populate Ontario and Toronto with non-British, non European immigrants who would have no ties with their new country and instead worship and support the party that favoured them to harvest votes forever. Now they own our cities and for the millions of self hating white liberals, we have achieved the ultimate in self flagellation, to become strangers in our own land.

I was born in Canada and my family was from the Caribbean and were brown. Learned Canadian history from our first PM John a McDonald, Wilfred Laurier, learned French. We were hoping Quebec did not separate from Canada. Our whole family is loyal to one country and that is Canada only. The small minority of Indians have destroyed what made us Canada. Playing Punjabi music downtown at Yonge Dundas that never happened. These punjabis are deliberately travelling from Brampton to dance at Yonge Dundas to shove their music in our face. Toronto Union station was filled with Indians crossing the track like this is New Delhi..., like they brought their chaos straight into another country. I do not agree that these international students should stay here in Canada, they should be here to study and not for work. If they wanna be a permanent residents here, they should go back to their country and apply for a permanent resident. And if it all goes well, then they come here as a landed immigrants legally.

i think deporting them is gonna be too costly and cause a lot of tension with the us and other countries, not to mention cruel for the people who managed to build a life for themselves only to have it taken away, and also might cause a recession because of the millions of jobs they used to hold being vacant suddenly.\ni think it would be a much better cheaper diplomatic and realistic move for the use to use its massive and already existing and funded military to lock down the border at essentially no added cost, and strictly deport any one who slips through after that lock down, the immigrants who are already inside aren't gonna be a problem so long as they're the last ones who ever get through. thats what i want my country the uk to do, a lockdown so no more hopefuls can get in, because as much as all the immigrants in my country don't deserve to be here, i recognise how much pain it would cause them to be deported after so long in this country. and since they're already here i say no harm in letting them stay as long as no more come.

I’m an immigrant myself came to my country of choice legally never changed my permits worked hard not trying to game the system… became a citizen the legal way and assimilated into the country respect the laws pay my taxes don’t expect a handout speak the language and end up grateful for my situation.

The responsibility is solely with the applicant and not consultant. Period. Whilst I’m a proponent of immigration, applicants should also be more diverse and not from only one particular country. Hopefully more changes are introduced to address this.

There are other places you know they are international students you are supposed to come to study then. Leave . Most people that come to study in Canada from different countries they leave after graduation.
