Canada is scared and it's trying to scare the American people with their Bluff

Canada got overwhelmed by immigration and its distinctiveness got diluted. The same is happening in the US, at least some of us are trying to fight back, Canadians just seem to rollover and take it.

Smart move Canada, you tried very hard to work with an idiot but he cannot be trusted. I have only one question, will Canadians consider accepting America as one of its provences as we would have so much more to gain under your government not to mention the much better character of Canada's people

For sure, they'll try to blame Biden. And some just want Trump to fight the culture war and are willing to accept the consequences of an economic downturn so long as trans people are restricted on the bathroom they can use. Some are rich enough that they wouldn't be affected by a recession. As if world events weren't already volatile enough.

I just watch mr trump speak with regards to tariff impose on canada mexico and china..he's proud in saying that a lot of foriegn companies will soon build factories and offices in the US. Providing billions of jobs and revenue. He said that if these companies would come to the United States where will be no tariff, lower taxes and easy life for the Americans. My question is: is he trying to kill other countries?? He said Ukriane is gambling with WW3, well i can say its WAR with GUNS..what he is doing is already WW3 using economic saborage...just my opinion...

It should be no surprise that our leadership chooses to blame all of our problems on someone else, because that's exactly what they do every day. We have a drug problem, it's because of Canada and Mexico. We have an immigration problem, likewise Mexico and Canada. We have a deficit problem, that's because of the EU and NATO. Our problem is our government, specifically Republicans who won't accept the simple truth: you want to solve problems you have be disciplined and smart. You have to spend money to fix your problems instead of blaming some else and trying to get them to pay for it. You pay to solve your problems instead of giving huge tax cuts to people who don't need them. You stop lying to your people. You want to change the trade imbalance? Build products that other countries want at a price that makes sense. The EU has no laws that prevent American car manufacturers from selling their cars in Europe. American car companies make shitty cars. They make cars that are too big, that don't make sense for European where streets can be very small and gas is very expensive. The US manufacturers don't make a single small car in thos country that can compete with European cars. US agricultural products are laced with poisonous chemicals that are outlawed in the EU because they kill people. Our governmeent doesn't give a shit about that because to grow healthy food means you have to cut profits, almighty dollars, instead of grow things that the rest of the world will accept. We have an idiot for president who thinks he knows more than anyone else and an idiot party that won't tell him the truth. This is going to cost us big time. We are going into recession, probably a long one because we don't have real leaders and the president on his best day is nothing more than a reality TV personality, and not a very entertaining one at that.

America's economy was a juggernaut the day before Trump and his greedy band of thieves took over, and our strength was in our alliances with Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Our moral strength was in our unwavering support of Ukraine and opposition to Russia. In barely a month Trump has undermined and destroyed all the trust previous administrations (aside from his own) had built. By trying to rob our allies blind and turn the US into a kleptocracy, Trump is destroying the economy and our standing in the world at record pace. Maybe irreversibly.

I thought this guy put his resignation forever ago I guess that was a joke? I find it funny that Canada is so strong and fighting back but their people are already fighting to just eat everyday and trying to get to the food bank everyday! @robertedward7023 It can but I think Trump is right on this one. Zelensky needs to realize that he won't get his land back that Russia took, and that negotiating is the only way to come to peace now. He's living in a fairytale world fighting an unwinnable war. I think the US is right to pull the plug on financial aid to try to pressure Zelensky to negotiate to end the war. Unfortunately, to end the war Ukraine will likely have to concede the land they lost. But the reality is Putin will never give that land back. But it's better than more people dying everyday. Zelensky has gotten all too comfortable relying on financial aid and as a result he hasn't been willing to try anything new (like negotiate) to get this war finished. If we keep sending him money, nothing will change. Now he has pressure to negotiate. the US and Canada can't keep sending money to Ukraine for the next 20 years while this war carries on.

What has Canada and European countries done to actually try and end the death and destruction from this war? Europe buys energy from Russia, and Canada is only giving 650 million dollars in weapons over three years, while America has supplied hundreds of billions of dollars in aid and military equipment. Zelensky goes around the world dressed in a military outfit with no desire to stop the slaughter of humans on both sides. There have been thousands of wars where, eventually, one side has to accept the reality that they can not win, Zelensky is unwilling to see this. President Trump was elected because we want his AMERICA FIRST AGENDA, and with us saddled with 36 TRILLION dollars of debt, this war needs to stop.

The U.S. has a massive economic advantage over Canada in any trade war—no debate. The U.S. economy is 10x bigger, and Canada relies on American trade way more than the other way around. The idea that they have 'leverage' is just political posturing. They can slap tariffs on select U.S. industries to try and cause some pain, but in the long run, they *will* lose. Their leaders just don’t want to look weak, so they act like they’re standing firm when in reality, they’ve already been pushed off the cliff. The U.S. can outlast them easily.

Trade wars always comes before an actual war (happened before WW1 and America waged a trade war with Japan prior to WW2). I predict America will be invading Mexico first in a blitzkrieg and then when the US economy is in a war economy it'll try to invade Canada. Heck Trump has already stated as much when he said Canada will be the 51st state of America.

The majority of US citizens stand with Canada, Ukraine and Europe. We are experiencing a coup and have been betrayed by all 3 branches of our government. We don’t even know if our own military would defend us or attack us with trump as commander in chief. We are concerned that peaceful protests would be met with our military shooting us. \nWe know this trade war is stupid and has nothing to do with fentanyl.
