I've been to 15 countries and out of all the hotels and stuff I've stayed in I've left things laying around like some money, wedding ring and never had a problem even in very poor countries.\n\n Except in one country where I left my wedding ring laying on the nightstand by the bed like I always do all over the world, and guess which country I had my wedding ring stolen out of all of them? What you talked about here is the healthcare crisis which was the first one I noticed and all of that is true. And to add insult to injury, they're increasing taxes this year in a country where more than ever people are going to food banks to get well... FOOD... what a fucking joke. I'm working on my return and can't wait to take my one ticket back to my country, Canada is not worth it anymore and highly advise anyone considering to come here to re-consider whether it's worth it to live in a cold country, highest taxes rate, far away from your family, for basically NOTHING in return.

They all have their own crime issues and transportation issues. I left Toronto a few years ago to London Ontario and I definitely agree that Toronto has gotten very dangerous. While Canada does have issues (like any other country in the world) What you outline highlights the privileged life you are living. You are correct in pointing out that the health care system is flawed, it is not perfect by all means but AT LEAST YOU ARE GETTING HEALTH CARE. Take the stats for example (I had the privilege of going to the hospital in Texas) My bill came to 3000 for a twisted ankle. They charged me over 500 dollars just for walking into the hospital. I'm not knocking that stats, but if you do not have money, you're fucked for health care. Instead of waiting 8 hours to see a doctor, you're now on Web MD trying to diagnose yourself. You are bitching about high taxes, how do you think Schools, Police and fire services, Emergency service hospitals etc etc etc get paid? through wishes and hope? You are again welcome to go anywhere else and enjoy whatever bs they have going they might have low taxes in other parts of the world but your going to have to pay for certain services you are taking for granted here. As Cost of living, if you live in Toronto or BC yes the cost of living is high, but at the same time, the average household income is high as well. I'm sorry minimum wage in most of Canada is roughly 15 dollars an hour, and the average incoming for most provinces is over 100k. I'm not sure what else to say on that subject :D As for things to do, seriously, stop living under a rock. Please go and travel Canada, to name a few things you can travel to Niagara, Go to Banff, Visit hot springs or enjoy any of our national parks.
