Canada is closed til it's fixed, Canadians first

As an international student, I claim most of these students come from 1 particular country. Just leave them be, and the freaking stupid trudeau system needs to stop caring about them; please take care of Canadians first!

And according to the rules and standards that have to be met to obtain a student visa, none of them should be eligible for asylum. This is a way they are deliberately cheating the system. It is not right or fair. All of their claims should be automatically rejected, and they should have their student visas revoked. If we had a government that cared about Canadians and the rule of law, this would not be happening. But as it stands, we have a corrupt government and bureaucracy that only cares about lining their own pockets and staying in power. The people who are approving this and not rejecting them outright should be held criminally accountable and should lose their jobs. We have rules and laws for a reason- the government and public service's job is to put the needs of Canadians first.

Asylum? is their home country an active war zone? And is the war cause by Canada? If Canadians are struggling to make a living and to afford an apartment, let alone a house, then what do they think it would be better for them? And why does the government not take care of their own citizens first?

Canada’s lenient immigration policies for a long time have made it a target for individuals from developing and corrupt countries seeking entry through various means such as refugee claims, student visas, marriages, and even fake trade skill diplomas. People do corruption in the third world and then claim refugee status in Canada and get accepted easily, so Canadian society is becoming full of those corrupt culprits from around the third world. This has led to concerns about why Canada has become a hub for such activities and whether it is compromising its reputation as a developed country. There is no real shortage of labor in Canada; rather, it is the greed of some employers, often first-generation immigrants from poorer countries, who exploit cheap foreign labor and are not willing to pay fair pay to Canadian labor. These employers, along with immigration consultants, homeowners, and small business owners, perpetuate the narrative of a labor shortage to justify continued immigration for their profits but that immigration is tearing the values of our society apart. I fear, soon Canadian passports on the international airports will be treated like a third world country passport. This situation raises questions about the true necessity of immigration in Canada, especially when other countries do not seem to have the same demand. The influx of older international students, particularly from India, taking jobs that could go to Canadian youth, further fuels the debate.

International students have no rights to protest other than study, which is why they come in the first place. Canada or US didn’t go to india and say please come. I think Canada should stop taking students through consultants in India. It is in India that people are selling false info and the students are blaming Canadian government. Even India has immigration rules and they are also strict in enforcing. Plus international students have to pay 10x more in Indian top colleges than local Indian. Rules are rules and should be followed or don’t come.

We are very happy with this !!! We don't have a shortage of workers! In fact we don't have enough jobs for CANADIANS. Time to reset our workforce! HiRE CANADIANS FIRST!!!

I'll tell you about prices in Canada. (please fact check me fellow Canadians, I wrote this in a rage. Also, most of this is from Ontario cause I live there) The monopolies here are insane. Highways that were built using tax payer money were sold to companies and now Canadians need to pay to us it. Most grocery stores are owned by a few major companies and I see butter prices rising every few months. A 1L carton of cream at my local store is $8! I won't talk too much about housing cause it's obviously sh**. I will say a couple of years ago the Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford (my greatest enemy), was releasing the protection of the green belt, a protect part of Ontario used for agriculture. He said he would use it to build new homes, great right? NOPE. First of all, the green belt is used for food to reduce prices for Canadians cause its local. He has stated he would move it to another location but that land there is less fertile. The worst thing is, the reason he is saying he would use the green belt to build houses is because the land there is very valuable. And guess who owns that land? His BUDDIES! That means he would sell that land to developers and his buddies would get all the profit cause the money developers use to buy the land will directly be put on the buyer. Not to mention, Doug Ford, the same person, since his instatement as premier, has cut the Ontario education budget by 50%. 50%!!!! ABSOLUTELY UNREAL. Can't even afford air conditioning in schools where the weather is so extreme. Rogers? The largest internet provider in Canada? Absolutely cr*p. So many complaints about bad connection and cutoffs which I also experienced when my mom bought one of their products and my internet was sh** for a couple of months. The ONLY, and I mean only, good major thing Trudeau has done is legalize marijuana. Another thing I forgot to mention is that our government is made up of criminals. Doug Ford, he and his family use to partake in drug dealing. Another major complaint is the ttc which is public transportation costing so damn much! As a student, it costs me over $1000 a year to get to school using the ttc. The times aren't even that great either as even on a major road, I had to wait 25 minutes to get a bus. Thats my rant.

First the Canadians advertised asking people to go there work a 5 year visa program no conditions applied... Charges lakhs of money once their bag is full for agenda they designed to collect money now they are changing their stands like goona

If you go to Delhi on a visitor visa, why would the Indian government approve you of a post-graduation work permit or permanent residency? This is because India is not a country who have policies or programs for student visas or permanent residency for immigrants. Yes, indeed, they should not demand permanent residency, but it is not the students who make these immigration programs including student visas or temporary work permits or pr, it's the Canadian government who introduced all these policies, and if somebody is applying for student visa and spending $50000 for studies, they are applying because they see potential for permanent residency and that's how immigration websites do the marketing for attracting the international students. If they had known that work permits or pr is not possible through any programs, they would not have applied at the first point. It's the government's responsibility to make it clear on their policies or on immigration websites. Now they started making it strict by closing those programs but it's too late, what about the people who are already here invested their money. They did not enter Canada by just waking up one day and thought lets go Canada. The government welcomed them and they approved them. The argument of the reporter is totally wrong because they did not know that they would face hatred or racism when they applied for student visas. Now they saw a large population and started hating.

Give work to PR and Canadians first before to foreign workers.

I think it’s high time to have a 15-year moratorium on hiring anyone who isn’t a Canadian citizen. No exceptions for PRs. Our people need to be prioritized first.

Canadian government need to work with the Indian govt to curtain agents, and study abroad shops that sell the dream of a better life in Canada to students, and parents. It's not good for Canada, nor India, starting with first all the express entry and the naturalization and PR after 5 years. Shut down the Unis or have crack down on the Unis teaching useless courses thus creating the path for pseudo legal immigration of students flooding Canada

Thank you for sharing! I had to leave Canada after a short stint due to personal reasons. I really enjoyed the work culture there and my salary was definitely way better than the one I used to make in Italy. Having an internationally recognised MSc, I felt valued for the first time ever and did not have any issues securing a job. However, the housing crisis was something I was not ready for. Never struggled so much to find a place to rent (and it was not even a big city). Grocery prices were also pretty scary. Canadian taxes were not a problem as Italy has a notoriously high taxation.

No extensions! I instruct at a college / university and this is their way in and most of them are clueless. They don’t want leave and bringing their mannerisms from India don’t help the country either. Deport NOW! Hire Canadian citizens first before these migrants!

Canadaa has shut down flagpoling and deported 4,000 trying 2 weeks ago ? . Sept 26 , employers can only hire international if they prove they can’t hire a Canadian first and they can’t hire from LMIA .

All the Universities, especially in Ontario Colleges official representatives came to my home town , and told me that if I spend this much amount of money to study this many years , I can apply for a PR. That is why I came here. I chose to study in Algonquin college, Ottawa.I spend 4 times more than a Canadian student which I don't complain.\nAt least authority should keep there word, or give back the money. \nThey should not invite those students.\nThose who telling us to go back , should go back first Europe and practice what they preach.\nStudents came here in a student Visa, which can legally apply PR. Are the universities and colleges here to provide education for Canadians first or to make money from International students. They should never rely on international students in the first place to begin with. This is called scamming the general Canadian population, a racket. Glad this is happening! First, because the govt. should put their citizens & their heritage as top priority. Secondly, because permit to study doesn’t mean permit to permanently settle down. On another note it is sad how the Trudeau government has betrayed and abandoned Canadians. Governments' priorities are first and foremost to their citizens but in Trudeau's Canada, it is citizens last! This is not an issue of racism. Im a first generation indo canadian ,and our government has let in too many immigrants into canada .for me as a small construction business owner it is getting harder for me to get more local jobs due to immigrants starting up their own construction companies and then charging next to nothing for the jobs they do.and when they mess the job up and don’t have the funds to fix their mistake due to their low prices,they either do a shitty job or walk off the job.
