I was born and raised in a Muslim country and when we came to Canada we adjusted. We cannot demand Canada to become a Muslim country. There are a lot of mosques every where in Canada.

The problem I have with Indians is that they dont like Canadians, make no effort to learn the language and culture, are very rude, entitled and disrespectful towards anyone that dont look like them. Then why are you here in Canada? This is a very multicultural country, which is something they obviously knew before coming here. They treat us Canadians with such hatred, disdain and indifference, especially in the workplace. Indians are always playing the victim and throwing the race card around or just protesting around every corner, every damn week when something doesn't work in their favor. If you're that damn unhappy here in Canada, you're free to leave anytime. And many Indians in Managerial positions will only hire other Indians, even though a lot of them aren't quality for the job or their English is very poor. Canada has always been very excepting and tolerant towards different ethnicities, but that's because they've always put in the effort of getting to know and learning from us.

I believe that your statements and point of view are correct. The headline is misleading as everyone knows citizenship can not be demanded. What these entitled foreign students are demanding is perm residency via extended work permits. Extending permits to five years (as they've demanded) would DESTROY the Canadian economy and have a permanent effect on Canadian identity as well as no end to the housing crisis. Furthermore, many of these students who originate from India's two most poorest and crime ridden states: Punjab and Gujarat, will contribute to the growth of crime cartels, such as the thriving car theft ring targeting cars in the Toronto GTA and the Air Canada gold heist that took place at Toronto Pearson Airport in 2023 resulting in the largest theft in Canadian history ($22.5 million). Guess what country where all six suspect are from ? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

You have worn out your welcome. Go back to your country and return the legal way. Enough already. If you’re here for school you should be in school not working. Graduate and go home with your degree and help your community and country. Your status has expired, there are laws for a reason. Why do you feel that you are entitled to change them to suit?

My family came from Canada from India over 100 years ago we came over here legally we tried to assimilate I think what really bothers me now is that these new international students are giving all of us a bad name most of them cheat on their English exams back in India, and this is a known fact most of them can’t speak English and hence why they fail the colleges here expecting to be passed automatically. they work over 40 hours a week illegally and lie about it The government is subsidizing international students but they are taking jobs away from our students. We paid taxes my entire life and my son applied for over 100 jobs and got nothing because every single job is taken over by international students they are they are abrasive. They are entitled, they cannot seem to understand how assimilation works. They are so entitled and they feel they can protest out in the streets when they dont get PR. They came on a student visa and were expected to go home. They are now complaining and protesting at this point they all need to be sent home because this is ridiculous, PR should be handed out as needed not automatically and right now there are so many Canadians without jobs so we don’t need more workers. I also work in healthcare most of the students or their families come in don’t have appropriate healthcare and we end up paying millions of dollars in healthcare bills because of them, we have had families come visit their international students with no healthcare having strokes costing us healthcare workers and the government over $1 million. We don’t have the infrastructure for these students to stop. The government needs to stop subsidizing. The government needs to stop handing out PR like they’re handing out candyscamin India and here charged enough is enough. I will def be writing to my politician

Canadians are done with the entitlement they came here to study and now they don’t want to leave stop your sense of entitlement study and go home. This is appalling and embarrassing.

That’s excellent hopefully Canada will become Canadian again. As a Punjabi, I’m absolutely disgusted with these new international students. They came here on pretence most of them didn’t even pass the English test they cheated and scammed to get here. Nobody is entitled to break into another home and claim protection and everything else free. They're doing it because we're allowed them to\n...go back and fight for your country ...not in our peaceful land !

As an immigrant and I speak for all the first immigrants that came to Canada many years ago, we followed the rules and never demanded anything that we are not entitled to. No protesting and all this bullshit! Temporary means temporary! Get the fukk out!!!

There are a number of factors at play here. Ignorance + misleading people + sense of entitlement. Big jumble and it is really bad it has come to this point. Genuine question: most of these 'students' do not speak proper english. How did they clear express entry? As I understand there is a min CLB 7 required across the board in all 4 English proficiencies?

As a Brown dude, these people are getting entitled real fast. They aren’t honoring the agreement thy made on their study permits. While Canada was conquered, the stolen land gaslighting doesn’t seize to amaze me. Almost every land on earth was conquered/“stolen” by someone. If we follow this ideology, land was stolen from dinosaurs….see how stupid it gets?\n\nAre we skipping the fact that these new students (most not all) can barely speak English? Are the IELTS test scores being manipulated?\n\nIELTS dropped their minimum qualification score from 6.5 to 5.5 (dont ask why)?

I can’t help but wonder if today’s entitled youth are part of the problem. They look at working say at McDonalds is beneath them. These jobs were never meant to be career jobs it’s a stepping stone.
