This was an impressive speech and chilling to the bone. People should understand the undertone that this already is the first stage of a war. I have had many Canadian friend including my first serious girlfriend. I worked with exchange Candian military folks and saw them as full partners. On D-Day Candian troops had their own beach which the successfully captured. They were by our side in Korea and all of our other wars.
