Not sure how I came upon this video but I'm American that's lived here all my life. It's so incredibly lonely, even as an American. I wish I could find people that want to have friendships and community. People like me are out there looking for friends and would gladly welcome immigrants!

I am genuinely surprised that Quebec ranked so high, because I'm from there and I've always had plenty of empirical evidence telling me otherwise. The income is meh, the education system is meh, health care is super meh, taxes are mega-meh to the point that they cause brain-drain, and the nightlife is incredibly meh (unless you're in downtown Montreal). I'm glad the province looks good on paper, but it really doesn't reflect my 40-plus years living here (or near).

Video aside, I'm so glad that most of us Indians in this comment section aren't quickly jumping to one conclusion, instead we try to consider the entire story. The pursuit for the objective truth and fairness, regardless of bias, is what will help our society prosper

Most people don't recognize my province because it's tiny compared to others even though we've had some pretty interesting things happen like a certain disaster in the 1900's but I'm glad you gave it a pretty good rank

People leave every country (if their government allows it) and people enter every country (if that government allows it). That is life - each country has its good and bad points depending on where you live, your personal list of things of must-haves, and your personal bubble of friends and family. I laugh about Vancouver being rainy - it's getting too warm and dry. I miss the rains and colder temperatures - this is not Hawaii LOL Some people have weird expectations. I'm glad Vancouver doesn't have much snow but I'm sure some will complain about that.\n\nTo generalize about any city, country, etc. is just odd - ask yourself what you're looking for, visit at different times of the year, etc. Don't just talk to a handful of people or just visit once LOL It's like changing jobs - sometimes it's the best decision to leave a country or city and sometimes it's not. In other words, DO YOUR RESEARCH and EXPERIENCE IT YOURSELF! Some places you'll love and some places you won't - we love California but would not want to live in a warm place 24/7 but others would. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT but also realize you can change locations later... and yes, children are resilient and no, you don't need your family to help out otherwise why have kids to begin with.

Great video, I'm glad you are willing to take off the rosy glasses to talk about Canadian reality. I'm a Canadian born myself and everything that was mentioned in the video is accurate in term of the struggles immigrants face. Canada is a very quiet, safe country and crime rate as well as violence in general is low. But Canada can still be as harsh as its climate so don't be fools, Canada is not Disneyland and it's not for everybody. Cities like Vancouver and Toronto are the most expensive cities in North America (Canada + USA) even more expensive than Los Angeles and Montreal is as expensive as New York. Therefore think twice, prepare yourself and do your research before applying. Using John F. Kennedy's famous quote I might add to conclude: \nDon't ask what CANADA can do for you but what YOU can do for Canada.

I'm really glad I found your channel! Very informative content! I just have a question about NOC codes. Can I apply for jobs that's a little different from my NOC? My experience is NOC 2132 (mechanical engineer) and I plan to apply for NOC 2232 jobs (mechanical engineering technologist). I have actually done some of the duties of 2232 despite having the title of 2132. Is that okay? Should I change anything in my EE profile? Thanks and more power to your channel

I’m glad that Australia stopped the visas for these radicals and started to bring in more and more skilled migrants who want to assimilate to their culture

Glad to see organizations like the black fathers and many that were not part of this documentary. I also want more ppl to think about families who have fathers that are emotionally unavailable/ are workaholics or are just puppet dads. This is often overlooked. There are females who stay with deadbeat males out of fear of societal shaming/ fear of being along and decide to stay even though the guy doesn't provide any support... I'm other words, males who create families but are not emotionally there so to say, that in many ways can be super problematic and disastrous for the family dynamic especially for the women and the children.

This is so heartbreaking but I’m glad that they made a video about this because racism is swept under the rug and were told to “tolerate it” and it’s so wrong!

My parents live in Ontario and they’re Muslim. My Mom doesn’t wear either head scarf or a face covering, however she does wear it while praying at home or at the mosque.\n\nWhy I left Islam is a very long story. It didn’t seem right how after 9/11 Muslims around the world were celebrating, including my uncles and cousins back home. I came to Christ in 2010 and I’m so blessed to be saved by grace. I’m so glad I have a choice to love God and not forced any more. I’m really worried for this lady Farzana, I’m sure she gets death threats by other Muslims. I experienced it myself when I told a Muslim man I no longer practiced Islam, and that I’m a believer in Christ. He was furious! I told my parents how I got away and even though they are devout Muslims, they realize how I am in danger and my Mom told me I shouldn’t tell other Muslims about my faith. I told her I wasn’t gonna deny Jesus. She worries about me but I told her, I know my destiny for a fact. I had a personal encounter with Jesus and there’s no way I can deny Him. My only prayer is my family will know Christ and one day we will be in heaven together. I’m looking forward to that day. I honestly don’t want to be here in this awful, world where there is so much hate. I want to be with my Savior soon. I don’t even care if I’m killed by a Jihadi. If that’s how God will show my parents how corrupt Islam is then so be it. I just want them to know Christ.

Ok. Just to be fair, the stuff in the store is actually customer service. My skin is white as snow and when I go to one of these electronics stores I'm actually glad someone asks if I need help because half the time I'm so overwhelmed with choices of gadgets and computers, etc. that I do need help making the correct choice of product for my needs.

I don’t like being stared at and asked why my kids are white and their dad is brown (West Indian). Is he really their father. Shut the fuck up you close minded racist bastards. I’m Hispanic a light skinned one, we are not all fucking tanned , we are mixed. Learn to mix with other cultures instead of sticking to your own kind. I am glad I don’t live there anymore.

I’m glad this welfare migrant and his family are Canada’s problem now. And the church in the US that hid him, should be prosecuted.

Not only does this man break American law by coming here illegally,he does the very same thing by entering Canada illegally,in all the time he was in America he did not learn English, this man and his family must be deported \nImmediately, he and his family have been bilking the U.S.A.by using programs that they have no business aplying\nto.Now I can say for certain that he has tried to get freebies from Canada too!.\nWhen are our governments going to learn not to be pushed around,by people who are nothing but takers, takers ,takers with no appreciation for the country who is keeping them alive,if you want to speak\nyour foreign language, full time, while living in America full time,do it somewhere in private,I am tired of having people here that could be talking about me,or worse yet my country and our politics, while standing right next to me!.\nI am so glad that he wasted that money, earned in the U.S.A.and while milking our entitlement programs dry,\npayback is a bi_ch, now he knows how I feel about non-citizens getting away with cheating our government,\nThis man was brazen enough to go on camera and complain about living in the U.S.A.and feeling unwelcome,\nwell now I wonder why that is?he speaks on Spanish,in a English speaking nation,he's hiding from authorities \nhoping not to draw attention to himself, who might want to check his legality of being in this country.\nI'm sick of the internal takeover of this country, without any shots being fired like those of a real invading foreign \narmy, instead, over the past 50 or 60 years, a never, never, never ending, stream of people breaking into our country\nuninvited,undocumented,and very, very UNAMERICAN and UNCANADIAN.\nPUSH BACK AMERICANS,PUSH BACK CANADIANS,do not let our governments allow our countries to be turned into the shitholes from which the invaders are coming from.\nVote yes vote at your election times, and remove the people who are not stopping the illegal invaders, vote them\nout of their political positions,in favor of people who will stand for our countries founding identities,if not\nwe can kiss our histories goodbye FOREVER!.
