(I hope you read this)\nOkay i have a few suggestions, having lived my whole childhood in Oman i can confirm it’s a beautiful place but Arab country's higher education(college wise) is not that great therefore ,my family moved to India(our roots are Indian) because this being a reason. (Like a lot of families move from gulf countries to their south asian countries for college,having personally experienced as well as my cousins who lived in Jeddah and loads of other relatives)\n1. So pls look for muslim countries that offer good education otherwise you will have to send them again to UK USA Canada for good college.\n2. Abu Dhabi can be a option as well\n3. Saudi Arabia\n4.Qatar\n5. Turkey\n6. Schooling works differently in gulf countries, for example you have Indian schools that run on the CBSE pattern of India, Pakistani schools, Sri Lankan schools, International School with a British curriculum, International schools with American style curriculum, proper Native schools of that country that teach in Arabic.( Again this my experience in Oman, my cousins in Jeddah went to Indian school of Jeddah, so pls wisely choose the school that you want your children to attend)\n\n(this comment is just an opinion, hope it helps. May Allah make it easy for you )

I have lived in Malaysia (5 yrs), Bahrain (7 yrs), Pakistan (born and raised), and now in Canada (4 yrs). Each have had their own pros and cons. \n\nMalaysia has some of the nicest people in the world. Beautiful country, lots of rain, temperatures usually between 28-30C, all year round. Laid back office culture. Lots of work holidays! In the last one decade Pakistani community has grown steadily esp in Kuala Lumpur. English is widely spiken and understood in major cities.\nAs for the cons, very expensive international schools and daycare centers, that would take a huge chunk out of your income. Pakistani food not that easy or cheap to find, but that may have changed since we left. Relatively high cost of living, if you need to live near city centers.\n\nBahrain sees both winter and summer. Not much of other 2 seasons. A large Pakistani, Indian community, so much so that I rarely ever used English to communicate with cab drivers or shop seles reps!. Regular Arabs struggle a bit with English though. Pakistani/ Indian food very easily available n affordable. Again a laid back work culture. Maids and domestic help easily available. \nAs to the cons, you may encounter racism sometimes. Arabs are generally nice ppl but u may sometimes find them condescending in their dealings with you. Probably bc most of Pakistanis, Indians, Bangladeshi and Nepalis form the labour force (and we all know how worker strata is treated in the Middle East). International schools are again quite expensive (lesser than Malaysia though).

We don't have more spaces and jobs to accommodates.. They are big burden to local governments. These students in one room 4 or 5 peoples. Canada, like the US and UK, is catering to the international wealthy now instead of Canadian. Rich HKer, rich Chinese, rich Russian, rich Indian, rich Arabs; all welcome. Canadians? Politely wait in line after them because they are paying out of pocket while you want government subsidy

Pity on Indian International students

Didn't watch the vid yet but the vibes are just completely dead. And as a white person, I just feel left out. It feels like its a city completely designated for international indian and middle eastern immigration. Politics are batshit crazy and far left as well. Truly don't know how I am surviving at this point. I think montreal was shown to be much more affordable and is arguably a better city. Might be the move for people if you want to stay in Canada.

Very honest opinion & factual, Indians go there & struggle just to obtain 1st work Passport, but if you are well settled in India with good income, you can still travel the entire world & live in comfort in India, cause if you have money you can make your homes comfortable as per international standards, only struggle is bad roads & traffic.

I just wanted to mention one strong opinion and my own and many other NRI experience on Delhi ?? international Airport while doing immigration. Its my very own experience when an immigration officer threw away my Real brother's indian Passport just because there was something missing on immigration form. Me and my brother felt so much insulated. Then i decided to surrender the Indian Passport and get the Canadian passport just bcz they were treated well by officers. Some recruiters and post secondary schools are pure evil to do that to international students. Most of the victims are Indians. Most of the victims are not wealthy. My heart goes out to them.

I am a frequent international flyer and I can aver, hand on heart, that Indian children are the most unmannerly of all. I brace myself for an ordeal every time I find one seated behind me. I have had many instances of my seat being constantly kicked or occurrences of insufferable shrieking but never lost my cool. It is good that I am lost in perusing academic papers while flying, because these loutish parents would never discipline their children. We (Canada) let in 1,200,000 people in the last 12 months and everything is shit here. We are at zombie-apocalypse-level population growth with the sole purpose of inflating housing prices for landowners. Indian international students are sleeping in hallways, everything is crushingly expensive, and there is no future here. It feels like being homeless in an airport concourse. Not entirely accurate. It's pro-wealthy immigration here in Canada absolutely. It's citizenship for sale. Not necessarily wealthy in terms of really wealthy (like Switzerland) but it's definitely citizenship for sale, so if you don't have money, don't bother. Newcomers with medical and engineering expertise can't get jobs here in Canada, in spite of our healthcare system being on the point of collapse and our supposed hi-tech push. Regulatory boards here have made it impossible. Estimates are around 175000 qualified, internationally trained doctors and nurses who gave up trying to practice here and moved into other careers. Ukrainian doctors, for eg, with extensive trauma experience and willing to staff our emergency departments have been told they have to requalify by going to Canadian medical school to retrain for at least 4 years. Same story in engineering. By IT, our government seems to mean low-paid call center IT work, moving the IT sweatshop racket from India onto Canadian soil. If you can afford to buy a business - I believe the total business investment was 500 000 pre-pandemic - that's another way in. Not sure if thats gone up now. So many of our franchise businesses are essentially being used as citizenship tickets. The big ticket item: If you can afford 4 years of postgraduate or undergrad university program, or 3 to 4 year college program - and if you don't have the cash, loan sharks in India will distribute debt across the whole family for decades so one student can go . There us a very good documentary by an Indian filmmaker on the Canadian college/University recruitment drive in India and its consequences. Several of our colleges have student enrollments at over 70% of the entire student body, direct entry from India. Additional problems like grade inflation, different education standards, and outright fraud on ESL testing also mean that Indian students are not well prepared for school here. Many do not have enough English to succeed in their studies. They either need to spend for additional tutoring, take a qualifying year or two ESL (on top of the 3 or 4 program), or fail courses. Universities and colleges keep the tuition though. Honestly our colleges and universities are staying afloat because of Indian students. They're being treated like cash cows - and Indian recruiters are scamming the system, taking fees on their end with unsuspecting students getting falsified documents, or being told they passed their ESL when they didn't. It's a national disgrace. I'm a prof here, I've seen all of this firsthand. Your data may be correct, but the narrative you've constructed for it is not the real picture.

Actually US is doing a better job of ensuring diversity in its immigrants by having the country cap. I used to think it is so unfair when i was in the US but after seeing how the Indian and Chinese immigrants form the majority of the population increase of Canada, I have changed my mind. We cannot have one culture completely dominating thr demographics of a region and effectively killing the international diversity there.

the way you paint Canada at the end is very untrue - refugees are treated horribly here. when we took in the people from Syria they were put in homeless shelters and weren't given food or proper clothing (it was winter and -30c out). as of typing this there are camps/tents set up in the streets of downtown toronto for refugees we just brought in that have no where to go. we brought them here in a hopes of a better life and made them apart of the ever growing homeless population. we also just deported over 700 Indian students who came to Canada under fraudulent circumstances. maybe if you are rich life is different (thats really all you cover) but if you are an International student or a refugee this is not the place to be - we take in so many International students because they have to pay 3x to 4x more than someone born here. do more research into your videos please this and the other comment i left are all breaking or top stories in canada not hard to learn and could of added so much to this topic instead of painting canada in a near utopian image

This is an INACCURATE and SHALLOW video. Just because America is doing it wrong, doesn’t mean we’re doing it right. \n\n1) Canada (we) are accepting immigrants because of a wider tax base (increasing older population) and projections for where we need people. The key word is projections and it clearly is not showing well; just read today’s Globe and Mail. \n\n2) There are 500-600 applicants per job in tech, and we are going through massive layoffs. We will never have the tech sector of London or SF because we are more conservative and smaller in population. \n\n3) Housing has become INSANE as you mention. It’s in the papers every day for the past few years, without any solution. \n\n4) We have no coherent view of immigration, and no surprise, we’ve had four ministers in the past 6-7 years with none of them doing a great job. \n\nOur beautiful country Canada is basically prostituting itself for international students fees and low wage jobs without any plan. Working with hundreds of Indian international students over the past year has shown me that there is no way the majority of them have legitimate university degrees.

And there is one important fact that you missed in this documentary. It is Indian(racial) people taking advantage of these young India people like us not Canadians! The same immigrants who immigrated to Canada from India couple years ago are taking advantages of new people coming now. These private colleges are run by India nationals to make profit from recruiting people from Punjab. And India landlords taking advantages of new international India students and it is Indian (racial) employers who is taking advantage of international students to do more work!

This is why I returned back home from being an international student ( not Indian) at a top Canadian university. Couldn’t contribute feeding this massacre anymore.

It made me really sad to hear stories like this when I went to school. We had 3 Indian students in our class and I became good friends with one of them. He was 16K in debt with the recruiter that sent him here, and was expected to pay for his brothers upcoming wedding. His dad used to be a farmer but he was disabled now so his parents couldnt contribute anything. He worked 3 jobs and lived in a house crammed with 6 international students. He is now back in India and married with a beautiful baby, but I dont know if he has paid down that debt. I worry about him

When i went to Canada for my studies in 2015 at Fleming College, the class had only four international students. Three Indians and one Nigerian.\nIn 2017, the same class admitted 100+ Indian International students and 3 Canadian students.\nI left Canada in 2016.\nIt's not worth spending so much money to live in a Tundra, just to pay taxes.

Sad story really, but there are many other international students who get it even worse. At least Indian students speak English, have a very large support community in Canada (where pretty much every other person is from India). I only speak because I know. Try coming to this land with no English and no connections at all ...and from a small country in South America, then you really are in trouble.

Hi from New York, this is terrible and to think this is going on with Indian international students in Toronto, GTA and it’s perpetrated by the Canadian government charging 5 times tuition and Indian-Canadian employers creating this living nightmare...is there no humanity left and it’s all about the money? Good to know that there are some decent human beings helping these students but a terrible situation all around and never ever take education for granted
