I've been working on these cases on the border for nearly 25 years. I've never seen it as slow as it is right now and it has been for the last year or so on the Texas border in the Western District. They keep talking about losing a huge part of the workforce with mass deportations. So Americans aren’t looking for work? I’ve worked for Amazon for 3 and a half years now. I transferred from Va back home to ny last October. In va Americans are being hired. In ny Amazon is literally hiring nothing but Haitians. We hire a hundred and twenty people every year between July and January for prime and peek. I promise you without any iota of exaggeration, every last new hire is Haitian. I know of plenty of ppl who have applied to no avail. They really need to say if you’re American don’t apply. They get tax credits for hiring them. And because of this they do little to no work because they know nothing will happen to them. So all of the work falls on us . Out of the 120 new hires this year and last year 115 are under 27. They try to alienate us , intimidate us,and are extremely rude to anyone who isn’t Haitian. These are young people who are on straight gang time. I’m a black man telling you this and I’m from the street. It took me 6 years to finally make 20 dollars an hr, they come right over making the same as me while I’m working harder to accommodate their lack of productivity and at the same time hope I don’t lose my job for standing up to their rudeness and intimidation tactics. But the media will have ppl convinced that these are hard working meek and humble ppl just trying to make a better life for them and their families. I am a third (if not more) generation Ontario resident. I’m almost thirty and I have little to show for it. No, I haven’t always made the best decisions, but even friends of mine who have are in no better shape. You can have one thing in life; choose kids, career, or house. You cannot have it all without running yourself into the ground. As much as I don’t want to leave everyone I know, I can see no desirable future here. When the Corporate Rate gets reduced from 28% to 15%, the price of commodities/goods on corporate owned shelves will go down 46.428571% but not mom and pop shops b/c mom and pop shops ain't got nothing and Big Business just about has it all. A 22-23% market correction is coming soon. It shouldn't be over 30%. Take 8 and divide it by 36 and it gives you the answer.\n\nI suspect tariffs won't take effect immediately. Along with the 22-23% market correction & Corporate Rate reduction, it could appear that those goods will go down 2/3rds in price in 3-4 months & might be stable for a little while. Perhaps tariffs will kick in 18-24 months from now. All those decisions that are made is Big Government and all them taxes that the working man/working folk pay in is jacked up and ain't right! Especially considering that workin' folk can't claim back their taxes but instead get a measly ol' rebate (which is their own money btw). \n\nWe got soil problems in the Delta. If you broke the law, you will suffer the consequences of your actions. I know thats a really hard concept for some to understand. We dont need to rely on illegal aliens for cheap labor. It's always.. well... funny?... when rightwing-politicians sketch and communicate simple plans, which sound nice on the paper, but later it turns out that the world is much more complicated than the one-dimensional, simpleminded brains of these politicians. And that all these plans don't work? Or that these politicians know that it's not that simple but sell it to their constituencies as simple. That would be even more reprehensible.

There are people who entered this country over 30 years ago. They know no other country this America. They are hard working productive citizens.It's inhumane to send them back to a country that they know nothing of. They deserve a path to citizenship and should be allowed to stay if they are law abiding and people trying to make a living.

As a korean immigrant, we respect the law in canada and stay quiet. I know punjabs want to show off what you guys have but pls obey the law here. They even require a yearly flu shot! I hope they take that requirement away soon. No one is talks about mandating LEGAL immigrations have to get the covid vaccine. But the point is ILLEGAL immigrants aren’t expected to any of these. \n\nNot to mention that legal immigrants, but presumably not TRUE Asylum seekers, have to pay THOUSANDS of dollars to get a green card. \n\nGee I wonder why so many legal Latino immigrants would be pissed that the had to work so hard and pay so much, and these assholes let millions of the 3rd world in with so little requirements that tens of thousands of violent criminals were let in. my dil is mexican and is here legally. last march my son called me very early one morning with the news that his brother in law had been randomly murdered the night before. he was also in this country legally. as is my Dil's younger sister who lives with them. They also recently took in one of her younger sister's high school friends who was pregnant. they kept the girl safe with them until she gave birth. when I visited last may, I brought multiple baby gifts for the girl. when I have posted this before. there were many hateful comments that my son's brother-in law was probably killed by another illegal. Actually he was here in the country legally, as is my daughter-in-law. my DIL works hard doing payroll at a portland contracting company. she is here legally. at this point I can't wrap my mind around the hate that is thrown on people from other countries. most of us have ancesters that came from other places. I know that I do.

Who the heck is that white hair women she doesnt understand that those immigrants are illegal, we have enough, and the desaster is showing in the street right now ,we need immigrants that can read french or english and speak it ,so they can work instead of being on wellfare ,we need with education not what we have seen in the past years,this is damaging to a country and trump is right its very bad in the us right now,so that women speaking don't let her speak anymore she doesn't know whats on the street right now.
