Baloney - Who want to live in America!

We literally have 5 million Indians in Ontario alone looking to get into the USA to live and work. They came here to get PR so they dont have to wait 20 years in india to get a work visa. With Canadian PR can get into the states in under 5 years. You guys are in deep trouble, not a single leader in Canada LIBS, CONS, NDP want to decrease immigration from India. There is very little to no checks to whos coming it. Trump and Musk not helping the situation with keeping the visa programs going. Should have Americans working American jobs, no one else.

If you are in America and you are a citizen enjoying all that America has to offer and you hate our federal immigration law and you hate police doing their jobs and you hate whatever wrong America has done in the past, I challenge you to leave and go find that perfect county that can offer you all that America can and will live up to your ideals of perfection not just now but through everything they have done in the past. Please find that perfect country that has never oppressed anyone and doesn't oppress anyone now and see if you can f off to that place and I am positive they will be happy to give you other people's wealth to make your stay wonderful and if they don't, hit the streets protesting and get them to change if you can stay out of jail. Stand in their streets and scream that that their laws are unjust and the whole place needs to be brought down because it isn't perfect in your deranged mind and never has been and then see how many countries will entertain your ideas. It is truly amazing that ao many live in America and actively want to tear it down because it isn't perfect in their minds and hasn't been perfect in the past. America is the best thing going and plenty know this or we wouldn't have a border issue. I dont see Haiti having and issue with too many breaking in or Cuba or other communist countries. Losers see what other people have built and have and look at it and think they should have it so they fight and scream and decide to get enough people of losers together to vote and decide we should take what others built and have it but they can't maintain it and they can't build for themselves. Destruction is all they know.

Wouldn't the fact that the city council, allocated that money AFTER the ice raids took place. Pretty much in response to them, as an emergency to basically help hide the migrants, wouldn't that make them complicit in aiding and abetting or harboring a fugitive? I heard something about the way Miss AOC has been going online producing videos, instructing people how to avoid/escape ICE agents, was pushing the limits on the law. That she might get in trouble for it. Then surely the city council, knowingly providing this money for the purpose of helping migrants, NOT GET DEPORTED, really needs to be looked into. Taxing the American's living in NY out the *ss, just to spend that tax money on stuff the citizens, DONT WANT THEM spending it on. I think the act of handing over $2 million dollars, just to help hide the illegal immigrants, while at the same time raising taxes for the actual legal citizens who are NOT benefiting AT ALL, from all this money being spent when, THEY ARE THE ONES WHO ARE ACTUALLY PAYING IT IN, should definitely be crossing the line....

Why would anyone in their right mind willingly want to live in the states at this time. And who the heck are these people. I am a white Canadian have family and friends in the USA and I tried to move to the usa back in the early 2000's because I had a job could not do it because I was not allowed but it seems if you are other then white it is so much easier and everyone said I should go now because Trudeau is a dictator and that I am a law abiding Conservative that wants to leave Canada because our PM is nothing but a POS Liberal that is robbing the hard working real Canadians and cutting us off of having a good job because of DEI. They want blacks and browns to have all the high paying jobs while the rest of us get shafted into working for Min Wage or a little bit above while we get taxed to death. and if you look at all the homeless in Canada it's all white people and nothing but it's like the scumbag Liberals want the whites to live homeless or just scrapping to get by below the poverty line. Serious Question: From someone who lives in the rural south who doesn't understand the big city. Why do good people stay in New York City? If they want to encourage criminals etc. Why not leave for a place with a little more sanity?

It's noisy, overcrowded, unsafe, dirty, and way too expensive.\n\nThose of us in the rest of NYS need to either remove the leech attached to the southeast corner of the state that is sucking the lifeblood from the state or areas need to secede from the state entirely. The USA is going to be a normal country where they have people apply vs walk in. Thats what they do in most countries. They will also review records looking for skills. We have individuals who are living in the streets, we have veterans who are not being taken care of, and a host of other things let the government has failed to do. As a US citizen, I am sad for both Canada and the US. We were great allies, and now that is gone. I wanted to move to Nova Scotia and start a new life doing my art and be a part of a culture I love. This is why it is so important to participate in the election process! Honestly, the fact that firearms are ACTUALLY regulated is a good reason to move north. Who the fuck wants to live in a war zone?!

It must also be noted that many people from India are already in those countries. I live in Indiana and the number of people from India has doubled or tripled in the last few years. They do jobs like research and other medical field related things. There's also a large number of Indian students in colleges too. The reality is the newer generation will have to work harder to get the things the last did, because the last generation is still there. Then there's the fact the Indian's here often don't want new Indian's coming over...

I like Firstpost because she usually says it like it is. But this time she’s way too biased and went straight to play victim. Doesn’t she know how in places like Australia and Canada thousands of Indian people on temporary visas have taken to the streets to protest that these countries want to “deport” them when their visas are expired and they decided to overstay their welcome? Also, Indians used to be pretty quiet and kept to themselves… At least where I live! But lately they’re more and more unruly, and act like they own the place. A good dose of self-awareness wouldn’t hurt her.

The commentary here sounds so much like U.S. citizens griping, it's almost funny, but also sad. It's got all the problems you mention and then some. And of course it's still a great country; I was born here and live here happily. But I've also been to Canada four times since the 1980's, and each time I am just wowed by the many ways in which Canada seems ahead of the USA. The grass truly is greener on the other side of the fence... just be aware of what you have, and that you have an amazing country, too. Why are they crying? How about being deported from your own country by people that never lived there. Deported to place they never seen, didn't know the language but too sure of their customs, made to work wage free, and be told you're not wanted there. And they complain today about going to a country they know too much about, speaks the language, can choose to work or not, a ride there without chains. And they cry about going back. Comparing the US to Canada, I notice we have more freedoms here in Canada in spite of the high cost of living, and because of the freedoms we have more solidarity to call Canada our home. We don’t pack a piece when we leave home to run errands, we don’t whirl the maple leaf, we don’t adorn our buildings with the maple leaf, and we don’t wear maple leaf clothing. We don’t do any of these things because we don’t need to, because we are not paranoid, and that is why we don’t have the level of violence that is in the US. This land is our home, and it has always been peaceful for the most part, until now that Trump is touting threats of taking Canada as the 51st state. He wants Canada because we have the natural resources that the US needs. He will build a direct line to Alaska. He will drill all over Canada wherever he wants. He will kick Canadians off their land to drill. Trump will do whatever he wants because he’s a business man. He does not take others into consideration, just his own plans to meet his own selfish gains. What Trump is doing are illegal manoeuvres and he must be stopped. There has got to be a limit within legal guidelines to stop this insanity.

I left Canada last month, sold everything, Vancouver/North Vancouver...lived here for 20 years. Back to Germany where family is and moving to Portugal next within the few months. BC is just not affordable anymore, specially if you have kids. I love Canada, financially not doable tho, at least not for a single mom...tuition is a thing too... don't want to rent forever either...

Ofc, if you go to a country you gotta live by it’s rules not your country’s rules. If you violate, it’s a simple rejection which affects the future of the other Indians students who wants to travel to other countries.

Now all big Indian Techies and other influential and powerful Indians in abroad should come forward to give voice for Indians living abroad particularly who all hold legal visas like students and other legal permits etc and if possible they should create a fund to help our Indian students in financial, legal and other distress - may be given as loan. Influential Indians in USA should have used USAID program to channeled some funds to Indian students - no one wants to take risk but want to be good in American's Book! All big shots of Indian origin throw a little money may help these helpless students or may create like sovereign fund to help Indians who needs help in abroad!
