Been in Canada almost 20 years as a citizen. Went to university and college. Got a degree and a diploma in economics and accounting but no jobs. Finally became a realtor while working for a property management company who then wanted to fire me for getting licensed instead of using my skills. Similar to my sister who came and went to university. Did the 4 year RN degree and became a registered nurse… but couldn’t get a job in the hospitals because a certain group of people only wanted to hire their own. Canada has a fundamental problem apart from the unaffordable living conditions and high taxes

If you get scammed no matter who it is, that is your own doing. You let yourself to be scammed because you wanted to come here so badly, and we know you guys will not leave our country. There's a piece missing in the puzzle. Has anyone asked where's Mexico in all of this? everyone seems to forget that they're America's southern neighbor, and they're not helping with anything to mitigate the border crisis. Mexico has to be sanctioned, because they're not actively partaking in the protection of the shared border with the US, they're allowing immigrants to cross the border unchecked, sparing themselves the trouble of dealing with them. They're throwing the ball in America's court, making immigration America's problem. Since they share the border with America, they have an obligation to combat illegal immigrantion but they're not doing that. They want to get rid of their crimnals and the poverty in their country not by enforcing the law and trying to invest in their infrastructure to enhance the living standards of their people, instead they're encouraging them to move to America to find a better life. America doesn't have to pay the price of Mexico being a failed country. They're turning their backs on their own citizens and trying to get rid of them, obliging them to take the perilous journey across the border where they're prone to crime, drugs, rape, human trafficking, sex trafficking, child abuse and all sorts of tragedies but to them the ends justify the means, and they have the nerves to call America racist and inhumane for not rescuing them from the situation that they created for them in the first place. Since the vast majority of illegal immigrants came across the border with Mexico, they should be deported back to Mexico, and Mexico can take it from there, not our problem anymore

And this is what we call, a ladder puller. Now that she was able to become a citizen, rather than helping her family members to get their legal status, which can be difficult, tedious and very expensive, she could care less if the lives they have already spent decades on building here are completely destroyed. She seems to be fully aware that it can be a difficult process, and I personally have seen that it’s not exactly a fair one either. I have seen some people spend not only years waiting on a hearing or a determination, but spend thousands they scrape together on lawyers and obtaining records, while others submit minimal evidence and get a determination in weeks. Instead of admitting that there are problems with the system and vote for people who are actually trying to help, she wants the same system that made it a difficult process for her to stay the same for them. In fact she voted for someone who is going to make it harder if not impossible for them to come back the right way in the first place. Is she not thinking? If they get deported, that is going into immigration records and when that gets pulled up when they apply to come back it will likely cause any legally efforts to return to be rejected. And who knows how long that will stay in their system? Could be years, could be permanent. Biden’s idea to help those undocumented who are married to citizens to be able to apply and get a temporary visa to stay here while they wait so that families wouldn’t have to be broken up by having the applicant return to their country of origin. That was not just a great idea from a humanitarian point, but they could apply for a job that wasn’t going to take advantage of them by paying below minimum wage, with no rights if they are injured. That could help bring local wages up. They would start contributing back by paying their fair share of taxes, and do on. Republicans in red states stopped it though and are suing the Biden administration for trying to do what? Help people and fix some of the issues that our broken immigration system has caused? \nSorry lady, but you earned your family’s ire and whatever treatment you get from the administration you voted for.

I worked at the southern border for 10+ years. I once watched someone drive a truck over a border wall with two thick boards on each side, which they just kept there for next time. Because walls aren’t magical.\n\nTrump plans to terminate programs like birthright citizenship, DACA, migrant visas, green cards, military service….and he’s planning to deport people who were born here, have citizenship, but their parents weren’t citizens at the time, so he’s deporting them. IT DOESN’T MAKE ANY SENSE. But neither does Trump. Who, BTW married TWO IMMIGRANTS who were undocumented at the time. 4 of his 5 kids were born to an immigrant. Melania’s parents are here through “chain migration.” But, he’s taking that away now, too. JD Vance’s wife is of Indian descent. These are the 2 men who want to kick out immigrants. Undocumented immigrants contributed nearly $100 billion to the economy & social security in 2022 alone. They pay the same sales taxes we do. But they don’t have access to the social programs they’re paying into & they don’t get tax returns. WE KEEP THEM. But sure, let’s kick them all out. Any ONE of trump’s plans is going to cripple our economy anyway. \n\nThings are going to get really, really bad, guys.

As a Canadian citizen I agree with you on a lot of things and the same thing applies to an extend to Canadian. As a Canadian I see my churches getting burned, I have been spit in my face by Muslim people either because I am not covered, but I’m Canadian why should I, right? I tired of seeing my Canadian flag ?? getting burn for a fight that has nothing to do with my Canadian heritage but taking places on Canadian soil. Canada - Ontario was really great. I came from latinoamerica, and Canada was into real diversity. Now, I feel like getting pushed out of the province, not from Canadians but by Indians. I am moving from Ontario because of this. ? I love Canada ?? but I am getting tired of this. Is the culture, the manners, you name it. I am a double hater cant stand Trump and I am a farmer, i dont use immigrants because i just grow crops that can be mechanically harvested and I have a small farm, But in the past I used to manage large farms where we had a lot of immigrants most were illegal and people don't understand why they're illegal It's because there is an arbitrary cap on how many migrants can come from Guatemala and Mexico if they wanted to come legally just a normal worker They have a 60-year waiting list so it's just impossible to come here legally. Most of these people are very hardworking good people that come here to work for 5 to 7 years save up money and then go back to Mexico or Guatemala build a house and start a business in their own country. \n\nThis year i begrudgingly voted for trump because for me the biggest issue is with the federal and state regulations that make farming much harder than it needs to be especially regulations on diesel engine emissions that cost me tens of thousands of dollars a year and many months of not being able to use my equipment that I spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on. I’m a Canadian citizen. I married a Jewish African woman. And helped her get her citizenship after we got married here in Canada. Then we stood outside in the -20 degrees c freezing cold in a long lineup of good people trying to get their citizenships like my wife, all legally obeying the laws of Canada.
