Wrong! It doesn’t cost Americans more when a tariff is placed. It forces the incoming product manufacturer to lower its costs so people will still buy, and if people still buy, the percentage of tariff will fund the us government vs our income taxes. If they don’t lower their costs, they risk people not buying which hurts their business and hurts the country they are in because they don’t make as much money to send taxes to their country’s government

This is a much easier fix than what’s being portrayed. We need to make the ability to become a temporary citizen easier than it is. Imagine you have your family, including small kids and older parents in your home and had one extra room for rent, you put ads out in the paper and interview some people for the spot, but while you are doing that, someone walked in your door and put all their things in your the room and then expected you to totally be cool with it. Anyone in their right mind, would be frustrated, even if that person was really nice and and said they'd pay rent. He said, get on the phone and set-up protocols (like a responsible adult). You don t come to USA if you don t know where to leave period .It has been like that for years.Normally from the airport you have to fill the adress of who will host you or the person who sponsored you.\nAnd by immigration standard you should not come here to be a charge and take advantage of the welfare system .From the USA ambassy where you postule for a USA visa everything is designed to avoid those kinds of situations .If you dont have a place to stay then ICE has to send you back to where you came .USA has been almost like that for years???.\nIf you cross the border illigaly you have to be detain and expulse automatically.\nSeeking asylum don t mean it as to be in USA only .There are so many countries crossed by those migrants that could and should take them as asylum seekers unless those countries did not sign the asylum seekers international treaty.

OK. What isn't made clear here is that these are the usual migrant workers that cross the border every day to work on US farms, anf then teturn to Mrxico in the evening. They are literally trying to get to their place of work.

I came from Asia, I came legally. It was difficult to enter the US. I had live in the US for 5 years before getting the right to take a test to be the citizen. It is not fair that they just across the US border then get the place to live, get free mobile, and get citizen so soon. It is not fair for the Americans who have worked hard and pay tax, then money from tax paid to feed illegally. These tax money suppose to take to developed the communities in America and the care for American !

Allowing illegal immigration to take place willingly is making it impossible for Americans to live out the American dream. It’s not about us not being considerate or empathetic. It’s about us having those feelings for Americans because we are hurting our economy. Our jobs. Our schools are production and manufacturing are all hurting. Most people love the country they grew up in, no matter what. Our first home always holds a special place, and getting used to other norms is challenging. Both countries offer such diverse opportunities, I'm sure there's a place for everyone depending on your priorities.

I have heard Indians (from India) refer to Canada laughingly as The New India. They come in and take over the tech markets whilst employing their own with the best jobs. Go into these companies and see for yourselves...about 85% Indians via Indian recruiters. And then they act as though nothing is out of place as they replace everyone.

My 20 year old son wants so bad to get a trade and work hard in life...he just hasn't the funds to get there. Working at a fast food place where they are cutting most of the employees hours is getting very depressing for him.
