These jobs are mostly high paying and effectively unproductive in that they do not generate anything to improve the economy. Rather than contributing to the economy, they draw on it. That has been a drag Canada cannot afford.\n\nIt is about time changes like these are made on a large scale.

Hire Canadians with skilled labour first, offer a wage that allows already Canadians can live on before worrying about offering jobs to immigrants and/taking in immigrants for the jobs.

The international companies I believe learn the hard way lesson by hiring low quality cheap manpower which badly ruined their corporate reputation due to low standards services & products produced. Boing is one example which lost its long earned reputation on quality in just few years.

its because they are racist... imagine US, UK, etc grants no visa on their former enemies (like Japan) but demands for visa entry for their former colonies? you cant deny that these former imperialists sees former colonized countries as lint and does not contribute to their economy.... they stole billions of dollars in the past and at they could've grant visa free entry to their former colonies as a way of compensation to the damages that they've made in the past but they didnt.. and when war broke up, they'll ask from these former colonized countries for some soldier to be on the frontline for them because they were allies.. until now they still do some exploits to colonized counties in some other way like establishing manufacturing plant or some establishment hiring cheap labor from these countries, and when you want to visit to these counties they will automatically deny you.. On some point, China gives a better option. They will welcome you with open arms (although they will take advantage of you) but at least you can visit their country easily.

No need to worry. These issues are transitory and our people need not go to USA. USA companies are planning to move operations to India to hire skilled people. So, jobs comes to our cities. In the long run, it helps us. Our people work in our country and pay taxes to us. Now they are going to USA and paying 35% income tax to USA government. In addition to that, they spend a lot on their monthly expenses. If the Visas are closed and jobs are outsourced to India, it helps our economy a lot. Just be patient

Go to China, there is no racial discrimination there. Chinese universities train professionals with real-life knowledge, Chinese companies hire educated talent, and Chinese people treat every visitor with enthusiasm and an open mind.

These students came for an education. You accepted the terms of that student visa and should thereby adhere to those terms. Many countries do offer jobs to international students who excel in their studies if there are available positions in that field that Canadians can not fill. It is Indian recruiters who have sold the residency idea both in India and Canada. It is these recruters that teach them how to defraud our systems and take your money. This has raised concerns about racism, as some Indian individuals have exhibited prejudice towards black and white colleagues, often using derogatory language and pretending to work while failing to make meaningful contributions.

These are people ordered by Imgration Canada to leave Canada after failing the processes to stay in the country. That is 30000 people who should have been put on a plane and sent back to their country of origin. Law enforcement needs to be hired to find these people and put them on the plane. Another way to help this from happening in the future is through the laws. If you are here on a visa or temporary work permit, you must leave by the date on the permit or visa. Failure to do so will result in immediate deportation from Canada to your country of origin. It will also result in a permanent ban from for life from entry to Canada for any reason. I came to Saskatchewan Canada as an international student in fall 2023. I did a care assistant program and was attracted to coming to Canada because I kept hearing that there is a labour shortage in healthcare in Canada. However I feel like everything just started going to sh*t in 2024 when I was finishing up my program ?.\n\n One of the things I'd like to highlight about the small towns is that they can be very biased in their hiring practices. Some of us as (black) students had a hard time getting jobs in healthcare in the town because jobs were given based on family and friend linkages (so mostly white or Filipino people got hired). Also there was a severe housing shortage. So even though locals (from my perception) wanted us to stay and work in healthcare (because they are short staffed), realistically there was no where to stay. Canada can't say it wants people in more rural areas and not improve housing in those areas as well. I have honestly been rather disappointed with Canada because I expected better planning from a developed country.

The government needs to fine the businesses at least $25,000 per person. Because they’re hire undocumented workers very cheap labour. Go to Brampton going into Indian companies and restaurants. There alots of undocumented workers.
