I have no issue or problem with the roundup & deportation of illegals who are criminals but treating all illegals in this manner is inhumane & unconscionable. Many illegals have lived & worked in the US for years paying taxes, are unable to file tax returns and unlikely to collect social security if & when they reach that age. What the country needs is immigration overhaul & reform.

Lets keep i real. The desire that most immigrants have is homeostasis which is the familiar. All humans do this. Individually indians are usually smart and decent people. But in groups ( and this doesnt just include indians) you get this group thinking that is prejudice against anyone who isnt one of their own. Its that same inclusives mentality that keep the government corruption very small which empowers the citizens to make them successful and able to contribute more back into this system. The very nature of hoarding resources for ones family, same culture, etc are the same oppressive situations many of these people left their countries to seek better opportunities. But once given those opportunities and a chance to decide for themselves, a lot of these people use their liberties to create exclusion and hostility toward out groups. The indians do this in a very overt in your face way, the chinese are more polite about it but both have this way of looking out for their own and not being concerned with anyone else. As far as im conerned you should all be split up and dispersered to live in different provinces and cites. At this point - Feb 2025- a lot of condos have been built in Toronto and guess what, nobody is buying!! The economy dipped with the pandemic as it happened in many other countries! When I immigrated to Canada - and I had nothing then, it was impossible to even think of buying a house, under a Conservative government. About 10 years later I was able to purchase my first home and am doing well, thank you. So are the builders in this beautiful province, close friends with the premier. I've been to the states many times! My opinion is that Americans focus on wallets more than social issues! Americans care more about their own circumstances than working together to help the whole of the population. No one likes to pay more taxes but they are a nessesary evil to be able to pay for health care, public security, and so on! So sure Americans don't pay as much for some things but pay more for things that they shouldn't pay! Health care is something that is very important, how can you be expected to pay for health services if you can't work cause you're ill, doesn't make any sence! Even Americans leave thier country because of what it's becoming! 50- 100 years ago everyone wanted to immigrate to America or Canada, now a days everyone is immigrating here to Canada. Should I have to explain why! It's sad but the U.S.A isn't what it used to be. Mostly because of corporate greed and the influence it has on the gouvernment! Just look at how Trump is running things. A country isn't a bussiness, it's a people, without the people a country is nothing. Too bad Trump and his billionaire butt licking friends can't see that!

I work in construction and can confirm a lot of the big companies have been exploiting this system to cut costs because they get hand outs from the government to offset the wages of these foreign workers. \n1. There are some good people who are foreign workers who do good work and want to integrate into our culture, but there are many who do not respect our customs/culture and do shoddy work.\n2. Youths who would otherwise be interested in getting into construction are apathetic, lazy and have no ambition because it's so hard to make ends meet from the ground level.\n3. Why would employers take a lazy apathetic youth over a hard working immigrant, even if they suck at their job and are hard to communicate with?

The trouble with political commentators is they try to think like a politician? Trump is not a politician! So think like a businessperson, its the deal and what is the best deal for the USA. Many immigrants I know are now realizing that you just can’t come here and live a life while sending money back home. Most of us are living paycheck to paycheck and they are finding out that this is not the land of milk and honey they thought it was. It needs to be understood across the globe that the United States is not the country you want to be in if you are trying to help your family back home. I have not researched the Deportation of African immigrants, so I can not speak on it as much, But I do know what the deportation of Mexican Immigrants will do. It's going to have a ripple effect. Big American businesses will be unable to get cheap labor in various fields, such as construction, janitorial, landscaping, and many other areas of work Mexicans are giving American businesses. Here in California I have met many wonderful Indian nationals; however, many assist and support the concept of illegally immigrating to the US. One woman I know, from Delhi, married one guy then divorced him, and then within a year married and divorced another man. Does anyone care about the trauma and fact this is called grifting, basically criminal fraud for a green card. She was on her thrid target when I had to stop knowing her. There are allot of Indian nationals here involved with many shady businesses, doing crime here is acting as a parasite - something easy to do as people genuinely like Indian people.
