It’s called desperation folks. Do a little research and find out what these people are trying to get away from! What would you do if you believed that this was the only way to protect your children, your family? I understand that the US doesn’t want criminals coming across our borders and that this wasn’t the way to do it. There are also many normal people. My heart goes out to those that sold everything they had to have to pay the cartels to make it through Mexico, because they won’t let anyone pass through without paying them. I’m sorry for them having to deal with the worst that life could throw at them. I pray that they are able to find another way to live.

Why do these bottom feeders think they can just barge into our country? They have no rights. They don't belong here, we don't want them here. They have nothing, will only drain taxpayers. No skills, don't know the language, only want the things free that we Americans have had to work for, and now we're supposed to work to give these things to them? The reason Indians are not wanted in many countries, is the crude way they behave, and the way they try to defraud every system by trying to overstay illegally, coming on toursit visa and taking up a job, lying and cheating to bend laws etc etc. The list is endless. It is much better for other countries if Indians just stay in India.

yep issue here is housing, to many people coming in not enough housing that is affordable for Immigrates and Canadians which has cause a rise in Homeless, lack of job increases and failure for new businesses to start up, low spending doesnt help it, low income less money going out, less sales. Canada allowed so many students to come, charging $40-50k on average, and kept bringing in more. Now they're claiming that the number of students and their dependents is the problem? IRCC marketed the pathway to PR after studies like cheese on a mousetrap. And now, with elections approaching, they've started the blame game. It's utterly idiotic. In this advanced world, do you really think the government didn’t realize how many people were immigrating here?

I don't understand why India has to be so reliant on foreign countries. Especially with so many young and talented kids joining the workforce. Indians are smart people, and are bright and talented, and should focus on making work/life conditions better in their own country and focus on the growth of their own country. It's not like we lack intelligence, or culture, or values. I don't like this constant feeling of rejection if visa gets denied to move to a foreign country. Oh we can quadruple our income in a foreign country and send money home. Make changes in India to facilitate that, and not have to feel reliant on a foreign country to make that happen. It's time to make other countries want to come to India for a better future..

You have too many unemployed local born Canadians. The foreigners who know they came without permission shouldn't expect to be considered more important then the local citizens.\nA foreign business like a school program does not have the authority to permit folks to come to Canada. Nor do your cousins running businesses. Or foreign realtors selling you or renting housing. Or the foreign landlords convincing you they have the right to rent to you.

Of course there should be rejections! You people move abroad drive up inflation and cost of living, where it is near impossible for the actual citizens of that country to adapt. Not only that, you come abroad on student visa's and find loopholes in systems to stay longer than you are required to and apply for permanent citizenship. You've ruined the sovereignty of many once great countries such as Canada, United Kingdom and Australia, so what did you expect? Along with the rejections they need to start deporting people back to India also.

They are extremely nepotistic and will only hire other indians and family, it’s next to impossible for young native born Canadians to get even basic level entry jobs if the person hiring is indian. \nindians have abused the goodwill of our citizens and our social assistance programs. For the first time in nearly a hundred years our local food banks had to shutter and turn people away because INDIANS were using it as a free grocery store when they had FULL TIME JOBS and brand new bmws, then they post videos on social media saying ‘how to get free food in canada’, while some poor emaciated bastard gets turned away. What makes it worse, a lot of these Indians, especially in the prairies, already have their groceries subsidized by federal government, and they STILL abuse the food bank. It’s not just food bank either, they all apply for welfare and immediately get assistance even though it takes months to get as a natural born citizen, and that’s even if you get it. I was shocked to find out the federal government was paying indians to move out of Ontario and BC into Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba because the coastal cities infrastructure was about to implode in certain areas. So they they told these people to move inland, and if they do and stay there for 18-24 months, they get $3300 dollars a month every month for that duration. My disability cheque, that I paid into for 40 years of hard work, comes out to 950 dollars a month. This is absurd. These people get literally everything handed to them, and STILL abuse the programs meant for those who are struggling. I have never in my life met such an arrogant and utterly dishonest and disgusting group of peoples in my life. This isn’t just one or two bad apples, this is happening in every city around here. They also get first dibs on any and all medical treatment and specialists. Many local residents who have already been on waiting lists for years to get treatment are getting bumped in order to accommodate the new invaders. It’s basically impossible to find a doctors or dentists office accepting new patients. ER rooms are full constantly of these people coming just for runny noses and coughs, clogging up the already strained healthcare system. The prairies hospitals (at least where I live) were barely holding together before this nonsense. Yet somehow, this is all just white people being racist huh? \nWell I’ll tell you what, I’m not white, my people were on this land long before anyone else can claim to be, and while I’ll admit there’s often still a lot of animosity between natives and whites, youd be quite surprised to see how many of us are in agreement towards the current behaviour of these people.

Who has led these people to believe that they have a right to our homeland and resources? We have too many now, can’t take any more, in fact, some will even have to leave depending on how they behaved. We have starving and homeless Americans right now and they’re consuming resources without having paid taxes or earned the right. That’s it, stop the invasion. No more. Fix your countries, you can’t come here.

That's wonderful because I'm citizens i come to this country more than 20 years my children and my grandchildren born here and I'm applying for job so many places but still not find one. I'm a single mother with two young children and need money.

You guys gate kept the jobs from Canadians, rejecting our applications and pay us unliveable wage, then cry that you dont have enough workers, only to go get foreign workers to replace us.Then cry about crime rates and the housing market. Canadians want to work!!, we have been working for many winters now!!, but you guys keep preventing us from working because you want cheap labour. cheap labour comes with a lot more economic issues than hiring citizens. Our concerns were ignored and we were called lazy...to the point where someone like DONALD TRUMP is laughing at us and calling us a state. lining your pockets wasn't enough, now our integrity as a country is being questioned. If Trump made us a state, I would NOT be surprised.

Americans want legal ways to citizenship to be improved but we cannot accept mass, unregulated immigration. It is not sustainable. Both parties can agree on that but we can’t agree on how to fix it. The issue is that there are too many people coming and it’s overwhelming our system. It’s sad to see people upset but we have to put our own country’s interests first.

Indians are known for visa regulation violation. Many Indians come to Sri Lanka on tourist visa and end up in working some yard.

The high rejection rate is because of behaviour of too many Indians overseas. Plus India is a high risk Country when it comes to immigration. So visa availability and rejections will be intense.

A lot of Indians treat white people really badly. Especially when there is money involved. It’s now extremely common that people here hate dealing with Indians as customers of their business and will go as far as avoid it altogether. They will often relentlessly try to negotiate services, lie and say anything to get get their way, pester businesses until they cave to their demands and even leave bad reviews which they say they will change if you give them a good deal. None of this is the way things are done in Canada and that needs to be respected. Something kind of funny, I’ve heard many people say that Indians will often say they will refer tons of friends and family to a business if you give them an unreasonable discount (which they never do once they’ve gotten what they want), but what they don’t realize is that referring a bunch more Indians to them is the last thing that business wants. And really, some of the discounts they want on things are just ridiculous. When I was selling my car a few years ago, I had it listed for $55,000 and I got bombarded by Indians offering $20,000-$25,000 and every lie under the sun of why that’s all it was worth, other people are saying yes to offers like that for the same car, dealerships are selling them for that much and so on. Like come on. And I guess while I’m at it, I hate to say but it’s a common thing here to walk into a gas station and the smell of body odour just hits you like a brick. I’ve stopped going to 3 different stations because of it. I’m sure there’s some pungent white people out there but damn. This is on a whole other level. It literally fills the entire building.

The landlord must have engaged in some criminal activity. Where did he come up with so much money to buy so many houses in Canada? Does he own any property in his country? why nobody look at real issue.

There has to be a reason why so many Indians want to come to all these countries maybe you should resolve your issues in your own country instead of bringing them to all these innocent countries

This post over-simplifies the situation. The reason Indians get rejected is because Indians abuse the visa system. How many Indians come to the US/UK on student visas and immediately start to look for work? How many sham Indian-American IT outsourcing companies rent their H1-visas to the highest bidder? How many Indians simply overstay their visas?

Indians are also responsible . Bad visa form filling. \nTraveling abroad to work on tourist visa. Escaping into illegal permanent stay into Europe . But yes, Indian passport should be the top 20 but it isn’t because our house isn’t in place. Basically we’re mostly good people but uncivilised , undisciplined , not all but many. Get India orderly first, clean, green, pollution free, corruption free… and if they still do the same it’s because we want to go there more then they wish to come here. Do something that makes them come here. Top quality cheap tourism, food quality, pollution free, reduce population, increase the female population , give equal rights to woman, judicial system in India sucks, court cases should be fast tracked, law should be simple direst and effective. So much for us to do, money is not the only thing that makes us get quality living. Only the rich get all this stuff…

To get India visa they askyou so many question your great grand father was born in Pakistan Afghanistan on and on . No one come to India rather they go to Thailand Malaysa singapore . Indonesia . Indian passport officer have no knowledge how to behave in western country , they are rude and unhelpful. Buerocracy ever where .

I've been traveling for 30 years, and have been to many countries. When it comes to Indians traveling, many locals in countries where Indians holiday wished they'd stayed in India.

When you dont let people come in your house as people want then dont express your stupid analogy of have gates. If so why the heck you have borders on pakistan and china? Our own people are the reason why they have started rejecting visas. People come here in the name of education and then demand PR. Many come here with dodgy certificates for which some indian states are banned. Majority come here and dont assimilate but instead make their own country within a country even becoming citizens. If u r so proud why come here?

Being a NRI living in the UK i have noticed a lot of Indians come over on temporary visas and end up staying illegally. And this practice is not just exclusive to the uk, i am sure it happens to many more countries where Indian people go. And also many Indian s to survive overseas will end up doing illegal things to survive. This could be a reason behind the spike in visa rejections

People coming from some of the states in India such as Haryana, Gujrat, Punjab should be banned or scrutinized from traveling abroad, their only purpose to travel is to put refugee in other country and stay in other country illegally. There are many people who don't have proper documentation and also have fake documents, these people affects other genuine people who want to travel. Also the young people who just studied their intermediate or 12th class should also be banned from travel from the above mentioned states to travel abroad for studies. Moreover, People from these states don't know their manners in other country and don't know how to live or stay as per the culture of other country and fail to follow the basic manners and rules. I hate to say it but this is the truth.

We must not tell others wheather to accept our visa or not. It's their home,their turf, their rules ,their call. And many are pointing out in the comments about our behaviour. If that's true (and it must be based on our behaviour in our own country) we need to fix that first... Let's not become Karens. Ma'am, when a country makes it harder for citizens of a particular country to enter their country, it is often because of the number of recorded incidents, crime from people from said country. If there is a higher rate compared to people from other countries, then it becomes harder. Let's be honest here... Indians don't have a good reputation abroad when it comes to such things... I'm half Nigerians and at least many Nigerians acknowledge why lately, it is harder for Nigerians to get a visa (Obv crime as well.) Has nothing to do with discrimination. Also, look at the state of Canada. Nigeria and India need to focus on bettering their citizens so that less people go abroad, which also reduces the chance of certain people doing crime, to avoid making it harder for honest people from the same country to get a visa. Better the countries so that more countries open up for Indians, making the ranking go up. \n\nLastly, the passport index website shows India at 65, not 85. Why lie about that to fit your narrative? The passport index website is literally the first result that shows up on Google too... Not everything is about discrimination...
