Canada was built by immigrants no doubt. When Canadians are unwilling to do the low pay hard labour, and give birth to kids, there has to be immigrants to fill the gap. Housing crisis is the elephant in the room, it has been around for quite a while. Remember one decade ago in Vancouver #donthaveonrmillion? Its worse now. International students became easy solution/target for politicians to blame because they cannot vote. They were considered as solution of labour shortage back during Covid then there was a labour shortage. Sean Fraser the minister of immigration back then made it super easy for international students to stay in Canada permanently. When he takes the office of Minister of Housing, he starts to point fingers to those students. Who let them into this country in the first place? We need more roads more houses. IRCC needs to work faster to get more skilled workers doctors into the country. Putting a cap on current immigration level is not a good idea.

Too much here, no housing, most of cities become housing student, noisy etc... the worst some cities most thing they are in their own country add listing for rent with a lot discrimination , bablah they want student came from India, it worse because we don t have that kind of discrimination in Canada when you go to Market place or KIJIJ lot of racists about student housing. Anyways its like the end of the world . I m tired to see these people bring that mentality in Canada. Too much here .

Most surrounding countries want those people to continue living on this land and continue producing military equipment on 3 levels under the same land, to continue terrorise neibouring Israely people. So this situation could perpetuate and will continue getting worse financial and other types of support from everywhere.

Immigration needs to be halted. It isn't helping Canada. It's making things worse. Once things are straightened out in this country, immigration can slowly open again but we shouldn't be accepting students or immigrants right now.

Israel is perfectly willing to let the Palestinians stay and keep their land. Israel only wants the end of the HAMAS terrorists! None of the border countries wanted the refugees at the very start of this. Why? Because they can't tell who is Hamas and who isn't. Fabulous video! US viewer here. But we often vacationed in Quebec’s Laurentians and our daughter went to Ontario’s University of Toronto for her undergraduate degree about 15 years ago. UofT was rigorous, to say the least, but she did it in 4 years, unlike some of her peers. She LOVED it, and made many friends, including internationals. They’ve stayed close on FB, and even get together (some flying in from other countries, including the Middle East and Asia) every 2 years or so back in Toronto. We’ve found the easiest way to make friends is by going to university or college together and living in residence, rather than once we’ve enter the workforce.\n\nThat said, and as unpolite as it may be, the root of Canada’s problems are exactly its politics. IMO Canada’s misguided liberal policies are to blame for its stratospheric taxes, cost of housing, increasing crime, tolerant drug culture, and deteriorating health care system. That Canada now encourages voluntary euthanasia to reduce health care costs should say it all. Margaret Sanger would be proud. And it promises to get worse as long as Justin Trudeau and his ilk are in power. His lionizing climate change intervention at the expense of what really impacts Canadians is sheer madness. Conservative Party Pierre Poilievre and like-minded politicians could fix it all.\n\nHappily, here in the US, the conservative movement is growing and energized. Once-liberal, especially ‘minority,’ voters are understanding how little the left really offers in the long run, and are switching sides. They’ll be voting for Trump in November.

Don' know when you were growing up, but public transportation in the last 10 years got a lot worse. In theory you're connected and the network is there, but delays and problems make using it very hard. Of course, it might be better connected than Canada ot the US but I mean look at the size of Germany, it's way easier to connect a country, which is comparatively small,

I'm not trying to minimize the issues that Toronto clearly has, but this same scenario is playing out in cities around much of the planet currently. Heartbreaking. Unfortunately it is the same all over the world. Apartments in my country are up 3 times. Food is up double. It is post covid money printing. Rich people got super rich , middle class lost ground and ordinary people are fight for survival literally. And with AI it will only get worse. Capitalism is failing. And I dont think we have anything to replace it with.

Im a Canadian citizen and I live in Canada for more than 30 years the problem in this country is the government system is not good this is a kind of communist system and it will get worse if the system in Canada is not changed and the thing about having Canadian experience this is a crap and this is a stupidity. People from Canada which they are born there and they have business there they have to allow people and to receive people with their work experience and they shouldn't discriminate other people this is a their mentality and needs to be changed. Canada is still one of the safest places in the world. I won't leave. This phase will blow over. Nothing is permanent. Things change for the worse before getting better. I would take Canada any day compared to the US or some countries in Europe.

but to be honest guys, Muslim countries do the same or worse to non Muslims. In Saudi, every woman has to wear a hijab regardless of their religion. In my view Muslims seems a bit slefish and intolerant in that they want to be accommodated in other societies but non Muslim societies are not very accommodating. Says someone who stayed in a Muslim country. We were not allowed to have church meetings on campus.

Word of caution, in regards to climate , too hot is worse than too cold.....if you end up somewhere without air-conditioning , it is going to be much worse then having access to heating in winter.....been there , so I know :) Another comment, try to separate religion from politics,. If you were born in Canada, you might not be fully aware of the difference between democratic and non-democratic societies. Religion only is not enough to make you happy, and having two girls and willing to risk their rights, require at least a conversation with someone that knows more about it. I have my own experiences and it seems to me that you idealize societies in which these rights are non-existent . You are right, Canada has become a very different country than it was when I first got here, but is still far cry from where you are planning to go. Beware of things that people are not saying , and have your due diligence done for the sake of your children.

The economic situation int the whole world is still worse and getting worser. If people alredy settled to cannada with their family for some time and already build their life, they should face the situation. for such a group of people it´s still not easy to leave and rebuild theier life again. It need much ressources and flexibility. especially for families. For those who stand allone, there are also no guarantue that it brings satisfaction. every country has his pro and cons. So it´s not an easy decision for everybody. So think of the pros and cons of the destination first, before leaving.

Some times i watch videos on differents experiences others migrants experiencing here Canada and we re on same boat. That s why i also made choice to move out in Colombia on the beach for my retirement.Then im here giving some advise. As immigrant myself, African from Gabon, we experiencing same realities of the West since 10 years now. At some point, i can say there s something broken in this country since last 6-8 years. As you making decision to leave Canada on the reasons you expressed, it is very important for you not be wrong chosing the wrong place again. You need to think about it seriously. Straight, can tell you 100% United states is worse than Canada as Muslim family to live in. You need to read all suggestions given in this Video. I had no idea Canada's inflation was worse than the U.S. Plenty hatred in the U.S. and I don't think there is a Islamic environment. I'm almost sure it isn't possible. Many countries have excessive Drug problems. Another big one in the U.S., including homelessness.

Seems Islam is too cerimonialistic/ritualist and require a lot of structure for praticing. Clean, specific places? I grew up under communism, so logically as soon I got away, was looking for a free and democratic country. Back then the West and Canada was a different country/ value system. No freedom left, the restrictions on speech is worse now than under communism, also the presence of the surveillance state getting more obvious. Covid tyranny should be an eye opener for everyone. Talking about the mystery why average dead rate went up suddenly still a no-no. The best way to illustrate how bad direction Canada is heading, Ukrainian refugees are leaving Canada! Of course they don't go back to die for US geopolitical intersts, but try to settle in a European country.

Well, as a person who grew up in a Muslim community, I respect your view but I disagree with Azan being loudly heard. I just hate it. It is like a noise interrupting in the daily life. To make matters worse, there are some who become “Canadians of Convenience” who, once becoming Canadian citizens and holding Canadian passports, leave Canada to go live in their countries and when things blow off, and their countries become war torn, they ask the Canadian government to pay for their flights back, not to mention those who get sick outside the country and come back to get treated at the expense of government health care. And after all is done, they once again leave the country. Really?

Went to Canada 5 years ago. It was the first time I saw real poverty. Canada is not a great country. They just pretend they are. It helps when their big brother USA is even worse.

The problem with healthcare in Canada is middle management.\n\nThere are like 3 managers for every doctor, 2 for every nurse.\n\nThen there is regular administration.\n\nCouple that with the public sector unions that represent ALL of them, and the system becomes geared to making itself bigger, and less efficient.\n\nWhether the public sector unions want to admit it or not, they have literally destroyed healthcare in this country.\n\nIt's all about the people that work in the industry now, and nothing to do with the patient, and THAT is the problem.\n\nIt's gotten even worse since Covid, now EVERYONE that works at a hospital is a ROCK STAR, so you can't say no to any of their demands anymore, or you're a monster that doesn't care about 'front line workers.'\n\nCanada has become a punchline.

if not for covid I would likely have left myself by now. Trudeau has made living here unbearable, I never seen a PM hate his own people as much as this clown. I'm born Canadian and at least from my mom's side at least 5 generation. Dad was immigrant from Barbados. Somehow Trudeau has been able to triple our debt owed yet everything has gotten worse in this country. Unfortunately I lost my job during Covid and ended up spending most of my savings and retirement. So having to start from ground zero again which is infuriating. I would SOOOO love to be living in somewhere in south east asia right now Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, etc.

I was born here and im 72 yrs old. I love my country but i dont even recognize it from 25 yrs ago. Its like waking up in a night mare that just keeps getting worse. It breaks my heart to see this country turn into a 3rd world sh t hole. I fully understand why you would want to leave. This is what I have been hearing from people living in Canada but then I wonder what about rest of the world. Whole global economy is in a depression there are countries suffering a lot worse than Canada. So, I think people will continue moving out of their base countries to look for employment and better life.
