The liberal government will meet its waterloo just like they did in Ontario... The liberals have strayed away from common sense immigration policies. Take students in with their spouses, let them work as many hours as they want. Give them permanent residence, let them take the rest of their families here. Open the gates for rich southern Asians to buy up franchises, development companies, hotels etc. that will only hire their own. We are doing so much better now....

Just so people understand how we live.. I'm a disabled person who lost my leg working for the government and was put on a pension that gives me 19k a year.. my rent is 18k a year.. an asylum. Seeker or immigrant receives 62k per year I have one asylum Seekers living with me. And dosent work and makes more them my that works full time even though I can't walk and he get to drive around in a new car and send money home to take care of his family back home n sends money back to get more family members here to get more money

I too blame the government for ignoring the social consequences of such a large influx of immigration in too short of a time. But mostly who I blame are the brokers who are scamming hard working and hopeful young people to come over to Canada and are ripping off them and their families. Yes, you won't find immigrants of Indian descent doing drugs, homeless and dependent on others in Brampton. You will certainly see them hustling, and working hard throughout the week to make a decent living and provide for their families.

my family did the right thing with immigration years ago, we waited years to be legals, we followed the law of the land and assimilate with the citizens. how come the new immigrants can't do this and on top of that they received more benefits than the tax paying citizens.\ninsanity.

Backdoor immigration is detrimental to the country. All temporary visitors shouldn't be allowed to stay on. International students shouldn't be allowed to bring in family, buy property or remain to work. And work while studying should be restricted.

When so many immigrants enter a country that its infrastructure can not handle the increased population, people start to be anti-immigration. People who are not the majority race and culture, are easy targets for people who are frightened by the rise of homelessness and crime, and loss of employment. In Canada, even in small rural towns, long established residents see that their children can not find work, or housing, while obvious immigrants are everywhere as waitresses, cashiers, and other unskilled jobs which their children used to do when starting out. On top of that, many Canadians can not find a family doctor, and our healthcare system is strained to the breaking point. People are frightened, and want the government to tighten immigration policies. I think that our government did not consider all the factors when it opened the door so wide for immigration. Now it has to take a step back, and ensure that the infrastructure is in place before immigrants arrive in Canada, not be forever trying to fix the problems after they have caused havoc!

Im old generations Canadian, banks wont lend to me for beeing Construction Contractor, i cant buy land, denied a family doctor and beeing single dad of 4 have to pay everything out of pocket. NO!\n\n4- Did the Canadian government provide the newly arrived immigrants with a solid, safe and clean social structure where they can live freely without any risk to themselves and their families, where they feel completely safe and without any fear, anxiety and concern in terms of attack and crime?....... NO!\n\n5- Did the Canadian government provide the newly arrived immigrants with a democratic state and a fair social society structure where there is no racism, discrimination, inequality of opportunity, favoritism, incompetence and harassment, whether covert or overt?........ Canada allowed schools to recruit foreign students. Surge in of applications for students visa and allowed them to work and did not keep an eye on students activities. It's time to send them back including the family they brought in. Why did Immigration and Citizenship Canada ?? issued to many students visas?

I would respectfully point out that in my opinion the problem is that too many immigrants from one particular culture (in this case, Indians, but it's also the Chinese,) have been allowed in to settle almost entirely in one particular area of a city. In Ontario it's Brampton. In B.C. (where I live) it's Surrey. This stretches Canada's resources, having classrooms almost full of Indian kids who are learning English as a second language. For years we've had to put up with young Indian males street racing in their expensive cars on our cities late at night... to their mothers they are 'princes,' and they act like it and believe they can do exactly as they like. Then there's the issue of how many of their extended family members are also allowed in - resulting in way too many elderly Indians who don't speak a word of English and probably never will, so we have to provide translation services for them in our hospitals and govt. offices. The other issue I have a problem with is there's a tendency with Indians to 'skirt the rules.' There have been a few significant accidents on our highways caused by young Indian male drivers operating huge rigs which they are ill-equipped to drive, which seems to indicate they got their licences fraudulently. There's also been an increase in so-called 'honour killings' (e.g. MURDER!) as well as young girls being subjected to FGM (Female Genital Mutilation.) As an immigrant myself, born and raised in the UK, I'm used to living among Indians, and in fact have always really liked them (and especially their food, which definitely improved the British restaurant scene!) but it's time to limit the numbers. The problem with most countries that are not developed, people have to start a business and it’s usually run by the family. Now, if you don’t have a the finances to start a business then there is basically no opportunity for you in your country. That’s what I observed by talking to immigrants.

They think that they're talking to a recruiter for a college, when in reality, it's a travel agency. It's sick how Canadian colleges have exploited the weaknesses in the system, and the government has allowed this to happen for so long. They gave the impression that I or any other who had a concern with immigration might be possibly racist or xenophobic. Our government weaponized words to shut our voices down. No immigrant, especially those in India, should be scammed to such an extent that they are living in a country they've never been to before that is bleeding them dry. Our government wants to conceal the reality of what's going on in Canada from the rest of the world, because they want this to keep happening. High cost of living. High cost of food. No incentive to start a family. This policy making is destroying so much Canada to offer to so many.

The immigration file has been completely botched and mishandled by an inept and very stupid government. Mass immigration without a plan for increased housing, medical staff, infrastructure help, or even increased staff at immigration centres, etc. is madness, and chaos has ensued. I studied in India for several years, and was careful to respect Indian culture vis a vis dress codes, learning Hindi, and behaviour. It is only normal courtesy to do so. It becomes more difficult when numbers increase drastically over a v. short period of time since people coming here are not widely exposed to Canadian culture. This completely inept and corrupt government needs to go: like yesterday. I think of myself as anti-racist, but when I go for a medical test and see that 95% of patients appear to be of middle-eastern origin, while I haven't been able to find a family doctor for 10 years, I do get a little irritated. And I'm a boomer; younger people in Canada are competing for education, jobs, housing, as well as medical care, so I can understand people becoming angry. I think that currently this backlash is against the government, not immigrants, and not one community in particular. I am cynical enough to think that this government went for mass immigration because they have no economic plan for prosperity, and bringing in several millions would raise GDP. But percapita GNP has been falling for 8 quarters, so we are definitely in a recession. I think Trudeau did this so his economic incompetence would not be obvious. Anyway, that's my appeal: we should be upset at a government that caused this chaos, not at individual immigrants nor a specific community.

Deportation is a traumatic experience for anyone, imagine u left Ur home country, sold every assets. You settle in a new country learning the culture & laws. Getting acquainted with the climate. Taking into consideration that over time while abroad (be it Canada) things may have changed from the way u left in your home country. My family immigrated to this country 2 decades ago, the decline of the quality of education, healthcare and other social aspects have been tremendously impacting everyone. This have had happen within the last few years and it is sickening.

A student visa is for Studying. Not for permanent residency. Not for citizenship. Not for brining one's family over. Not for working illegally. Student Visa = Study = Graduate = Return to your country to grow your own country. If one paid illegal brokers to get a visa for a job, that is not Canada's fault. If you falsified your Immigration papers to falsify you are coming to study and your family has sufficient funds it is not Canada's problem you have to repay illegal broker loans. Whomever is here past their visa period and working full time instead of continuing with their education, should be deported immediately. This is taking university seats from local Canadians and taking full time jobs away from Canadian legal citizens.

Indians aren’t the only problem. A Ukrainian family of 2 adults 2 children was receiving $9000 from the Canadian government in assistance . Meanwhile, If a Canadian owes $10 in taxes, the government is coming after you and will charge you interest. The entire immigration/ student , work visa , refugee program needs to be reviewed. Changes need to be made with quotas drastically reduced.. Laws need updating. I’m not saying we don’t help people escaping drastic situations, but we can’t be a free for all society. Don’t forget that Canadians don’t want to have children anymore. So without immigration, canadas population will eventually fall to zero. Canada is a relatively empty country. If our governments were smart we could have the largest housing construction and business development program in the history of the world. There is no shortage of land in Canada, but we aren’t building houses because of incompetent politicians . Immigration creates jobs by increasing aggregate demand, but the country cannot absorb this many in such a short time.

Severe housing shortages, and cost of everything driven way up as a result of this mass immigration that Canadians never voted for. That's political? That lawyer should be working to feed and house the growing numbers of homeless. Or provide financial support to struggling families about to lose their home.

With the premise that over the arc of 40 years we had two exceptional wonderful Indian family doctors, the current crop of immigrants are a disgusting representation of their country of origin! In which reality do they think it’s ok to defecate in public, be it at a public beach or in front of a pump at a gas station? Or rent a home designed for 4 people and end moving in 10 thereby destroying the property ? I could go on much longer, but I will stop here. When one moves or travels to another country, one adapts to the social norms of that society and does not try to impose those from their own culture….adapt or get the hell out!!!

More people used to live together in a house than now. Parents, several children, and even the grandparents.\nWith the actual demographics, more units are required for smaller families, couples without children and single people. I remember a few Indian immigrant families during the 70s to 90s and they were very respectful nice families in our community. But now in 2017-2024 all these immigrants from Punjab are always very rude to me at my workplace. The women never say hello to me (I am a white female) and they just walk by me arrogantly or look down and away. They're always gossiping with each otger and wasting time at work. In a racist way while I'm at work I overheard one woman calling me and other white people my brother and sister while laughing. Even the men are always gossiping and this makes the men look feminine because gossiping is usually a feminine issue in the west, and gossiping Indian men now all look very un-masculune to me.\nI notice at work Indians will only help other Indians. They seem self absorbed about themselves and act very entitled, and lazy, they always seem to be wanting to be superior in some way, Overall, 100% I have not had a good experience wuth Indians wirking in the Canaduan workforce. They are not nice to work with and actually have made the Canadian workplace wirk ethic very degraded.

I immigrated to Canada from China eleven years ago. If Canada eleven years ago was what it is today, I would never give up everything I have in China and immigrate to this country. I plan to return to China next year, back to where I grew up. Compared to here, China has been making progress in the past ten years, and the most direct thing is that people's living standards are getting higher and higher, and they are safe. It is safe for a lady to walk alone on the street at midnight, and this is true because my family still lives in China. So, if you're not happy here, why not China. You can travel to there first to see the real China instead of beliving the fake news!

Immigration per se is not bad, but too much of it, especially too much from one country alone, will offset the demographic balance and is always bad for the country. When my sisters' families drove over from the US to Toronto last month, they were shocked to find that Canada is overwhelmed by Indians! And bad, disrespectful drivers too! I didn't realize that because I was here all along, it needed fresh eyes to see the reality of what happened to Canada.

I am so thankful I have Greek and Macedonian citizenship. As soon as I'm done with my education, I'm moving back to Greece or Macedonia, somewhere there are hardly any Indians. I literally get lucky to see 4-5 white, black, or latinos a day in my city, the rest are all Indian, Pakistani, and Arabs. I don't feel like I'm living in Canada anymore, I feel like I'm living in the Middle-East. I only have 2 more years of university and then if I don't go to Greece or Macedonia, it'll be because there's too many Middle-Easterners there too, and I will go someplace like Korea or Vietnam, where there are practically no Middle-Eastern people. Sorry, but you're right about them being rude, and they act like they're entitled to everything. It's disgusting and I've had enough. The problem will only get worse even if we shutdown immigration, because there are so many here already, and they don't have kids, they have litters of 5-10 children per family. Soon the whole country will just be Middle-Eastern, just give it a few decades. If you can get out of Canada and go someplace else, I suggest you do now, before it's too late.

My community is home to many wonderful Indian immigrants whom I've had the pleasure of getting to know over the years. While most are fantastic individuals, there are a couple of unsavory characters, including one family that has brought some drug-related issues from a larger city in BC, leading to multiple visits from the RCMP. It's interesting to note that many businesses have been established by Indian immigrants, yet I haven't seen any Canadian-born youth employed there. Despite this, it seems that the majority of Canadians appreciate the Indian community, as they are generally polite, engaging, and friendly.

Make it mandatory for every immigrant who wants to work or study in Canada to pass Canadian exams in english and french before ever coming here and agree to bring family or extended family here ..also international students after there school is done leave the country and are also not to work while here

I went to high school in Brampton Ontario, in the mid 80's and there were no Indian immigrants anywhere. After high school, I moved to Montreal to work as a fashion designer, (I have to mention the shock I experienced whenever I would fly into Toronto for business... when I went to get a taxi, there was always a massive line of Indian taxi drivers standing outside next to their taxis. I had the feeling that I was no longer in Canada, but somehow ended up in India?) Having lived in Montreal for 30 years, I recently moved to Guelph Ontario, to be closer to family and I was shocked to see how many Indians had moved there, (going to the dog park, I was informed by the people there, that Brampton was called Bramladesh and Guelph was turning into another Bramladesh.) There was a massive temple built in Guelph a few years ago and suddenly Guelph was invaded by Indian immigrants, with every house put up for sale bought by an Indian family, (the husband, his wife and their kids, the brother and his wife, their mother and father, all living in a 3 bedroom house with 3 cars in a 1 car driveway, (for some strange reason they all choose to dig up the black asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) So yeah, the white people in Guelph are fleeing en mass, as it becomes impossible to sit in the back yard, or open a window, without choking on the powerful stench of spices coming from the Indians living next door... it's like being punched in the face from the horrific smell when you walk your dog and pass by one of their homes! That said, it feels like their goal is 'global domination' and with 2 billion people living in India today, it's just a matter of time before they all decide to leave the most over populated, the most polluted and the most corrupt country on the planet, and move to Canada!

Indian students coming to Australia come here to work and bypass immigration laws. Their priority is work to make money to open businesses and sponsor families to come to Australia. Again ypassing the legal immigration laws.

It's the paradox. Needs skilled immigrants so bad but can't help but be increasingly threatening, alienating and insensitive + use our tax money to kill our families back home. It's like self-sabotage.

Stop all immigration send all Indians back after studies tegardless of how rich their family is. If they refuse jail them for life

White European nations settled in these countries. We are one stock and that is that we are from the Northern Tribes of Israel in 721 bc the tribes were deported to Assyria and over hundreds of years they moved into Europe. The Syrians to the North through Armenia and Georgia and to the South of the Black Sea. They were known as the Kimmerians Cymru and Celts. These nations became Christian through Jesus instruction to go find “the lost children of the house of Israel”. India does not fit with Europeans they do not assimilate. Stop immigration. Help the White Christian nations to have bigger families and gain a grip on their counties. Indians are coming in a taking all the jobs and business away from whites and force whites out of communities. Liberal government are letting them in in droves so to keep liberal governments into dictatorship power hungry governments. This has to stop. ASAP. STOP IMMIGRATION. STOP THE INVASION. Stop Trudeau. Stop Singh.

They are the most demanding nationality, they want to change the immigration policy in Canada, New Zealand and Austraila. Indian Students will bring family who will work for cash jobs and some of them who owns business discriminate other Asians.

Indian students come to study not living in Canada. Young Canadian need jobs, housing, and security for Canadians first. Government of Canada make banned for five year for low skilled temp worker specially Indian work and Student \nWhy only Indians are protesting for the federal government changes on immigration policies? My question is, is it Indians who are only international students in Canada? \nA student visa is for Studying. Not for permanent residency. Not for citizenship. Not for brining one's family over. Not for working illegally. Student Visa = Study = Graduate = Return to your country to grow your country.
