We native-born Canadians are becoming uneasy and restive with this immigration situation, but if we voice concerns we're labelled as racist, bigoted or intolerant. In Canada it seems that everyone else's culture is more important than our own, to the point we feel uncomfortable in our home and native land, in which many places are unrecognizable from what they were only a decade ago. Imagine what reception several hundred thousand white Canadians would encounter if suddenly planted in Mumbai! When you next vote, please eliminate this ridiculous Liberal government.

As a Quebec native living in Ottawa for the past 2 yrs. I have been following this issue. They left a bad situation to come to Canada to reproduce the same. Look up the many Honour Killings!

Canadians are themselves immigrants in these lands. Europeans came in 18th century, took the lands from the natives and two hundred years after, they say, hey, immigrants from India have flooded “our” country, this is not Canada any more. Canada just like the US is a country of constant immigration and when immigrants from other countries arrive you should adapt to each other’s cultures and customs.

All Canadians are immigrants. They came from England, France,Europe and other countries. The actual original people are the natives who were forcibly eliminated and suppressed. So don't say native Canadians unless you include all races in that category. Some came earlier and others came later. Your perception is skewed. You overlooked the China immigrants who have pushed the prices of homes out of the reach of the average Canadian with the inflow of their mainly corruption and criminal sources of money. The ones with hard earned money are not the majority. Your right that Trudeau's policies are bringing in too many Indians. Unfortunately it is bringing in the right ones, the type that can build a Silicone Valley and are the backbone of innovation which would make Canada rich. This is my observation.

Instead of blaming these people, one must question their own government authorities who make the rules and legislation to facilitate this. Maybe it's just the truth of a desperate Canadian economy that needs immigrants to keep fueling the 'aging' Canadian economic engine. These people come in and work hard, odd jobs (not to mention the exceptional skilled ones as well like Doctors, health care workers etc.) which the regular Canadian wouldn't do. I've been in Canada for 2 years without a Family doctor. Thank God, the last 10 different Doctors I met were all fresh immigrants and came to my rescue. Ask your conscience, without these immigrants, you wouldn't be getting your late night coffee at the time Hortons drive thru, no one to take your blood works without you waiting several months in waiting, no ways for universities to subsidize tuition fees for the poorer Canadian students. If immigrants stop coming in, the nice detached home you live in will go down in value, the nice truck you drive will become more expensive, your kids University tuition fees will sky rocket, Canadian companies selling groceries, furniture, etc. Will have lesser revenue and eventually get eaten up be American giants, Canadian companies won't have cheap labour to build those much needed housing. \nNot only question your government, but also question your 'own' people.. Where are they to serve you? Where are the so called patriotic 'original' Canadian Doctors'? They are off to US to earn more money. U think they care enough for their home country?\n If Canada won't, somebody Else will accept these people. Hence get rid of ur ego and attitude, it's YOU that needs immigrants more than they need you ?? \nLastly, don't forget your ancestors too arrived here in ship loads from Europe as immigrants, taking away the land belonging to the native Indians who were slaughtered and today live as prisoners in reservation lands... on their own soil. So please stop this hypocritical bullsh$@. Maybe it's that karma that's catching up?

Canada and the Churches (esp. Vatican) should learn to respect the Natives and apologize to them for centuries of abuse and genocide than to be letting people from other countries immigrate and fake that the European Canadians have a large heart. This is very ignorant. I understand that there is a very huge minority population in the community. However, these people were brought through by the policies of the Federal Govt. for the benefits of the Canadians. They play an essential role in providing and working in service industries, that white people dont want to work in. And as a promise of the multiculturalism in Canada, it is right of every person on this land to look any way they want, practice what culture they want etc. And the idea that this video presents as being white is what Canadian is very ignorant to the Natives of the land. Canada is of the natives and not white people. Remember at one point, white people were migrants to the country, did not adopt to the native culture and populated the area.

Canadian Government lured them with the immigration policy to collect huge amount of money as a college fee. After they spend such a huge amount of money and time to go through the process, you are telling them to go back. It’s not fair. Before the arrival of white European in 15th century Canada was 100 percent natives population and today natives are just 5 percent of total population.

As an Indian, I would like to apologize to the natives. That lady spoke the truth - if you are moving to a new country, you have to adapt and respect their culture so that they can accept you easily. Most people coming to Brampton don't even know how to communicate in English. I would like to share a true story that happened to me. In 2021, I was coming to Canada and I was standing in the boarding pass queue at the airport when a guy asked me how to spell Canada. I was in complete shock. How can you go to Canada as a student when you can't even spell it?

But the white people were immigrants too....they came to Canada from different europeqn countries marginalizing the Natives...why single out Indians now....anywhere in the world you go ....Indians are doing well and economically the place or area progresses....

It's not the fault of the student's. They pay a lot to get here and they work in the service jobs that many young Canadians do not want to work in if we even have enough native born Canadians. They are victims of the greed of Post Secondary institutions and the mismanagement of the Trudeau government. Take a look at the open immigration policy for people coming from Iran, Syria and Morocco. Last time I looked Iran was not a friend yet we open the door to these countries. No vetting, no security and no age limit. 70 plus years old coming to Canada on Work Permits. This will affect our healthcare. Indian students paid and worked for their chance to live here. Take a look. Investigate the special programs for different countries in the middle east.

They don't care about Canada and its locals, and culture, and native languages (english & french). The proof is that when they come they cloister themselves, continue speaking their native languages and basically just ignore the local Canadians or ridicule them in their native language. Bottom line is they're just here to make money, and they don't really care who they step on (taking jobs from local Canadians).

So we subsidize Air Canada to travel them home. Where they will be sheltered from the Harsh Canadian Laws. Back to the loving arms of their native country.

I think that the indians coming to Canada are hardworking, and integrate into society, Canadian universities have benefited more from them than they have from Canada, Could there be a cap on number of legal immigrants though? Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Tamils fron Sri Lanka, Punjabis, Malaysian Indians, Singaporeans Indians, Fiji Indians....and many are all look like Indians. So don't misjudged that they are only from India. Canadians whites are not the natives. Having a visa does not guarantee you entry. The purpose of the visa is to give you the opportunity to knock on the door and ask for entry. Then the officer has the right to make that decision 'yea or nay'.\nAll of the information you are giving is nothing new.\nI am living here for 35 years and those questions have always been asked. My siblings have been in Canada for 60 yrs...the questions have always been the same.\nIf certain countries' natives have a high rate of illegal overstay, people coming from those countries will be thoroughly vetted.\nThey are lucky the officer let them know upfront, that illegitimate overstay means rejection for the next application. Usually they do not give that advice, and when you apply the next time after overstaying, you are rejected without explanation.\nIf you want to stay longer and you have no schisms going you apply. That's all.

To all of you in the comments section who are ridiculing non-European immigrants to Canada, I will remind you of your heritage. You are all either first generation European immigrants or 2nd, 3rd, 4th (and so on) immigrants to Canada. The only native Canadians are the aboriginal people. So stop acting like this was your country first, rid your hearts and minds of Rac1sm and mis3ry, and embrace cultural and intellectual diversity. There is a lot of strength and power in that.
