I am of Indian decent, a resident and home owner in Brampton this city was nice at one time, no more, do not move here, city has become a dump. I see these people driving cars with AK47 graphics, driving reckless with no care. As for becoming Canadian forget it, these people dump their trash on the streets like they are living in India.

You know, Brampton even before trudeau was becoming basically little India, and most Canadians just said whatever let them have it, we kinda accepted it. But after trudeau with mass immigration and them taking over other cities its when it became a little too much and started to take over canadian culture. I had a friend visit from the u.s for the very first time, and we did some sight seeing, you know going to places around ontario that tourists would check out, went to niagra falls for the first time in maybe 10 years man it changed. It was 90% Indian people. She noticed it right away but didnt say anything, i said a lot of indians huh? and she said yeah didnt think canada was like this. When you think Canada its always been mulicultural, you just think of all ethnicities and people of different cultures but at the end of the day everyone was Canadian and they assimilated. Now you dont think of a multicultural country you think of an indian country thats changing the canadian culture and way of life and not in a good way. Identity is being taken away and it needs to stop. Canada needs to take notes from Poland before its too late. Poland closed their doors and guess what? economy went up, crime rate went down, people are happier. Canada opened the doors, crime rate shot up, economy crashing, more homelessness then ever and so on. Not saying its specifically Indian people, its the amount coming in and how they adopt canadian culture but instead bring their culture and trye changing the country to fit them rather then fitting in with an already established country and culture.

The motives of this look racist because when you try hiring white folks the retention rate is extremely low, these past 6 months I have seen 8 employees in managerial positions who quit less than 2 weeks and it's impossible to retain them no matter what salary you offer and then when you go hire an Indian they just don't quit and work harder. But again that's an anecdote, that doesn't mean white folks don't work hard. Everyone has different experiences so stop, putting half baked stuff out on the internet and stop embarrassing yourself. I'm new to Canada, but one thing about people from India is that if they have the opportunity to skip or cheat on a test, they take it. I know this firsthand. Another important fact is the population of India; they are around 1,300 millons people, but only 1% of those people can collapse the immigration system of a country, in this case, Canada. As a person living in India, my appeal to the Canadian people is don't let "asylum seekers" from India into your country without proper vetting. Legal migration of skilled labour is one thing you shouldn't be looking out for. They're already westernized. What you need to look out for are those that immigrated illegally. Please deport them, honestly. A lot of these self declared asylum seekers are people who've commited serious crimes here in India and running from the Law.

The problem is that Canada didn't just take immigrants from India, they took in criminals in the name of "asylum". In certain parts of India, there used to be small-scale separatist movements, back in 1970s and 1980s. Senior Trudeau saw this as an opportunity to vent his frustration for India's not signing of NPT . Indian officials are only able to nab the low-level gang members. But it also means that these countries now ALSO have the worst criminals in their cities. And once they settle down, they will do what they know best .... crimes. And gradually they become a problem for their host countries, as well as other Indians in these countries. (Whenever Khalistanis do any parade, they force other Indian families to put up their yellow flags on their homes, to make it look like they have massive support) It's not good for anyone, but these countries have put themselves in a position from which they have no idea how to extricate themselves. The thing about India is they only focus on white collar work and this is enforced in their culture and education system. This country of ~1.45 BILLION people (India) vs a population of ~41.3 million people (Canada) looks at white collar work as the only respectable work, sometimes because of their caste system. I am an Indian. I request the people in all the developed countries of the world to make extremely tough emigration laws, so that the people who are legally acquiring citizenship of your country are not dependent on the taxes paid by the original residents of those countries. Plain, simple and honest. Now, if you are allowing every tom, dick and harry from any country to live in your country, then the chances would be high that, unproductive/criminals of the other country to start to get citizenship. Cultural clustering is a natural phenomenon. Even within India, if someone moves from the North to the South (or vice versa), they often seek out people from their own region/religion/community to feel a sense of familiarity and comfort. At the same time, Indian culture and values are inherently inclusive, with a long history of adapting and coexisting with diverse communities. The real challenge lies not in immigrants forming close-knit groups, but in how well both newcomers and longtime residents accept and integrate with each other. When mutual respect and openness exist, diversity becomes a strength rather than a division. That said, the scale and pace of Brampton’s demographic change raise important policy questions. The Canadian government should have anticipated and planned for this transformation much earlier. Whether they did not act, or could not act, is a question only they can answer but it is central to understanding today’s challenges.

This documentary starts on a very partisan note, but it doesn't end on one. I don't speak for all Hindus, but when I lived in Australia, my values told me to integrate and treat everyone equal. Now I am back living in India with a global perspective and renewed respect for world cultures. Yes, Canada has had a lot on unchecked unskilled immigration which is bound to cause issues- but I'd like to believe, and my Hindu faith teaches me, that people are inherently good.

I traveled through India in 2000. I can understand why so many people move to Canada. India is intense to say the least. I’ve worked with great people from India and bad people from India. It’s no different than any other country. Great video.

I grew up in Brampton and I immigrated from India in the early 2000s, one thing that's not mentioned is the recent (2024) riots between Sikhs and Hindus. When I was growing up in Brampton, I had friends who were Sikhs, Pakistani Muslims, Chinese Christians, Hindus, Black, and White. The Sikh seniors used to say good morning to us on the morning walks to school and everyone got along because we accepted that bringing the racial/ethnic conflict from India to Canada was wrong. Recently, there have been tensions, fights, riots, and clashes between Hindu and Sikh Nationalists because the government is not actively filtering for quality immigrants anymore and the people being lured to this country are the ones who can't understand that this is wrong. This would have been unheard of 10 years ago.

When I go to work building new homes, I am almost always the only person that speaks English. You ask someone to move their vehicle to get a truck in or something and they look at you like a Taxidermized fish. DONT let them eat lunch in the house, you'll never get the curry smell out. I've seen people drop out of buying new houses cause they just stink like India, the walls are already that yellow grease color and once that happens its ruined, like having a smoker live in the house but greasier.

I am a Canadian born and bred. I ask these questions, could we, as Canadians, go to India or China or any other country to live and act the way these people do, say the things that they say and get away with it. Do you think I, as a white Canadian, could go to India (for example)and demand they change their traditions and religions because it doesn't suit me? Everybody knows the answer is no. I heard why the government did the immigrants wrong. I was talking to an uber driver and my pharmacist. They told me the promises of luxury in Canada has and offered for them to live a better lives. They didn't know after they came here for work and or college/university they become in major debt. They said that they're in a luxury debt and never getting out of debt knowing that they're stuck in Canada and can't be allowed to leave unless they pay off the debts. That's 100 % wrong to do that to people when they know they don't feel welcomed and want to go home. I'm a metis Canadian and I had to leave Ontario to find affordability and miss my home. GOVERNMENT THIS IS YOUR FAULT AND YOU KNOW IT! Let them go home in debt. You made this mess. FIX IT! Including the baby boomers that made the problem started 8 % rate interests to buy houses. That was a mistake that should be bought 1 house and nothing else. I forgot to add something. The uber driver told me that india doesn't know that it's a debt luxury trap that you can't leave unless you pay your debt. He felt alone and found some people and the internet to make himself feel better temporary. TEMPORARY! He hates it here, but he respects Canadians. He feels sorry for the new ones that are coming to become debt trap. It's the same for the pharmacy. She got into college to be a pharmacy and bought the store. She is on low income but doesn't qualify for any supports like benefits to pay off her medical things. The reason she can't because they'll see the pharmacy store is income. Wait what? So she doesn't quilify for benefits because she's making income to pay off her massive loan to do her job. It's not enough to live by as what she told me. She also does misses home, but also traped in luxury debt. This is what I have learned so far. I went through a car accident and coudln't get out of the car. I thought in Brampton, Ontario was the rudest people on the planet, but was saved by the angels of indian people saved me out of the vehicle from the smoke. I still thank you! There is still good people out there and some are stupid people out there. Keep it up because being kind gets you to be positive to others and make things better when the world is fcked right now.
