Imagine back in the early 2000s after 9/11 seeing all these random unvetted ppl coming in without any check into their backgrounds, it would’ve never happened. As a Canadian - the immigration tom-foolery that is happening is just as bad up here. Our Prime Minister is a handsome idiot, he was a drama teacher before he became Prime Minister (I know, make that one make sense). He has no idea what he's doing, he's being used as a puppet for more experienced extortionists-erm-politicians. With the help of his party members and a coalition with another party, in less than ten years he has taken Canada from a great place to visit and live to basically what's happening in NY. Crime in our cities has gone up dramatically. Theft is on the rise. Homelessness and drug use is through the roof. Immigration is out of control. And our government also prioritizes immigrants and asylum seekers before born and raised Canadian citizens. As a Canadian who is tired of the nonsense that's been happening in the world this past decade, I wish our government would put on their big boy pants and do something about this uncontrolled immigration. Things are bad here too. Our government seems to keep changing policies and laws to further accomodate the insanity that is happening, I promise, not every Canadian wants these changes to happen. We are just as sick and tired of all this nonsense as our American cousins. I wouldn't be surprised if both countries at some point united in objective and worked together to fix this problem - but that's not gonna happen anytime soon as long as these dummies are in power. But believe me, the regular people of Canada see what you're going through because it's also happening in our own back yard. We were traveling along the I-40 in Kingman Arizona and it was getting dark and we were tired, so we thought we would get a hotel room for the night. We pulled into a hotel parking lot and as we were getting out , a bus pulled up and fully loaded with migrants were getting out and we barely got by them to the front counter and we were pushed aside by the hotel so they could book them all in. Being frustrated we left and went to another hotel and they also had a bus load, we went to 3 hotels to find the same thing happening and we left this town and ended up sleeping in our car about 30 miles away … this is BS that Americans are being pushed out.

People in the US just talk about migrant coming in through canada, but they don't talk about the load of migrant that was crossing the US to come to canada. That was before canada closed Roxham road. I honestly feel like if this kind of thing continues, North America is going to end up as a new India in terms of overpopulation. the more population there is the harder it will be to provide food. the harder it is to provide food, sustainability will sink and there will be a situation that is nearly uncontrollable, more and more people will be unhappy, The complexity in how prices are rising with inflation of food and housing is bad enough. Imagine this scenario too though, imagine a time where there are so many people that do need hospital assistance, and the waiting rooms are beyond filled. the lack of space, the lack of medical attention for people because there are too many people and not enough doctors in the first place anyway. We must not forget, the amount of jobs to person ratio in existence and the new difficulty factor to get an entry level job these days compared to some 20 years ago. Some jobs such as cashiers are being replaced by self serving stations, so that reduces jobs, even if it doesn't pay all that much, it is something to help if someone is living with family and might only be able to find that for starters until they find something better paying, at least it gives them work experience. The facts have to be looked at in what is happening in many aspects, but there are a hell of a lot of opinionated people that seem to be just fine with the situation, maybe because they themselves are in a sweet position, in a sweet spot and are supported big time to where some others are struggling medically and financially.

I know were all talking about the popular cities and popular states but from a state thats frequently overlooked Alaska is a different deal than 90% of the US. I am an immigrant as well. Came to Canada in 2005 as permanent resident and little became citizen. However, what is happening is mind blowing. They are replacing us. I got layoff from my job last year and was replaced by an Indian. The funny thing is that, the big bosses of this company are Indians, so all they do is hire more Indians of their kinds while laying off the Canadian citizens. This is not fair. We all want to make a living, but that's not the case.

As some one living in Canada as an international student, I agree with the state of things in Canada as shown in the video. I think immigration in any country should be merit based and sustainable to avoid such things happening.
