Getting into Canada for immigrants isn’t as easy as people in the US may think.\nLots of people get turned away., a person has to healthy, and want to work, but refugees get a chance.\nsome slip through the cracks too, they get in, then go to work in the underground economy. \nThe immigrants that I’ve known know have to work very hard at staying.\nThey take the shit jobs nobody wants. \nBut they do it to get a chance at a new life. Canada is Relatively safe, and stable.

Help vote and fix your country MEXICO!!! They took a lot of our jobs away!!! Don't expect that you'll get to stay if you just sneak in ....

I was born in Seattle and left to Canada (married) when I was in early 20's!  This then was a good change for me as Vancouver was a great city compared to Seattle, moved right downtown and had a blast so for a young person (then) was great.  Met some great people from all over the world and had health care, medical/Dental etc.... I worked in the greater Vancouver area for 8 years and it was tough, very strict, and did not help that I was from the states, white bread Canadian seemed a bit jealous that I was there, sometimes not very friendly.  The Europeans I met were actually better to deal with and I got along quite well with them.  The cost of living was about the same as in Seattle.  After about 8 years being in Canada and working hard I saw America booming and the Canadian dollar was as low as $.62 cents (in late 90's) so I took my craft from Vancouver and brought it to the US just across the border, I became much happier working in the States, I took a little bit of bs but not bad from some that I had a Canadian accent (go figure when I moved up there I had a twang) I really never left the united states I will always be American and I have been still working in the US for over 20 years and deal with mainly Americans on a daily basis from all over the State of Washington.  Depending on where you grow up or end up you should never see a border Seattle and Vancouver have more in common than Vancouver / Calgary in fact most Canadians don't care much for the other provinces.  After 30 years of being part of both countries, I can say that people are people both have great offerings and if you took the best of Canada and America to combine then we would all prosper, there is so much both can learn from each other.  Bottom line:I take the best of both worlds and what they have to offer, yes, I have found less expensive goods in Canada than what they cost in the states.  I have seen it from both eyes, and if you cant be open culturally then stay away.

there is racism and prejudice everywhere. on every level no matter gender, race, religion, culture. etc. no matter where you go. but if these guys take a trip to any of those corrupted third world backwards countries they would see how good they really have it. us foolish americans canadians dont know how good we have it. we are living in the freest country nation and society ever seen in the history of the world. at least our country creates new laws every year to make our people feel safe. but other islamic countries continue following laws made in the 15th century. do you see and appreciate the difference.\n\nsure people will label you based off your skin tone and your demeanor. BUT WHY? because they have had bad history with those that look just like you. i have had REALLY REALLY bad experiences with asians in everything. so i naturally stay away from all asians and i do not trust them. HOWEVER, i feel when foreigners come to this country they ruin it for the rest of the citizens that are of similar foriegn race eventhough they were born there. WE NEED TO PUT OUR NATIONS CULTURES first. and thats what we have to teach everyone. we put our canada america pride priority and whatever culture we came from LAST. THATS WHY its best we learn to fix our people in a whole in our country before bringing in anymore foreigners who do not respect our nation. lets stop third world immigration and work on making our country great again. so we can stop all this crime in our neighborhoods. because it hinders our progress. once every race color ethnicity of people are acting right then we will have no prejudice based off color or even gender because everyone is giving everyone respect. but because CRIME IS HIGH in all foreign races, and we continue to disrespect eachother. nobody feels safe anymore. whether your light skinned white or black.

Who is taking rights and property away from anyone today? It's the South African africans. Blacks in North America and England live as free as anyone. Opportunities are available for all with the desire and work to achieve. For success stay in school, get a starting job, keep that job until you find a better job and don't have a baby until you are married. \nLook ahead at how far you've come not how hard it was to achieve.

This is so sad.. I am just blown away at how political this has become. Obama has deported way more people then trump FACT!\n I wish our military would go in Mexico like we did Afghanistanand revamp their government but we can't.\nHonestly the solution is for these people to stay, form together and fight corruption to the death. The problem is not the cartel or murders. The problem is their government, it's corrupt. That to, a FACT!

If I was South America I’d stay in my country, work & have as best a life as I could with what’s there. The American dream isn’t for non Americans to dream about or let alone Canada. Every country has its own issues you just need to deal with it, it’s better than running away to another place where your not wanted

The niqab is SCARY. The burqa is scary. The first time I saw a woman wearing a black burqa head to toe it sent a cold chill right up my spine. The niqab is anti-women. It is NOWHERE in the Quran. BAN THE BURKA. BAN THE NIJAB. We do NOT WANT Islam in the west. It's why Christians and Jews are not immigrating to Arab countries. We do not want any part of your culture. first of all we should stop this guilt trip about Muslims. if anybody wants to study Qur'an he she will see the book is full of hate. Muslims want to conquer the world either by converting or beheading. Please people don't be stupid. how is it possible that Canada is selling its own heritage and absorbing ones of any ethnic groups that come here. it should be the the groups that come here to respect the heritage and law of this country. it is the fault of spineless politicians that will kiss the asses of any group that whines the loudest. our leaders contributed to tge destruction of muslim homes by going to their countries to rob them form OIL. Now the gutless, two faced politicians welcome them here and giving them what's ours. I tell you what to do......stay away from their countries, don't send our soldiers to their men, women and children. let them govern themselves.
