There is no Indian American Canadian or any other nation is good or bad it’s a person a human being who is good or bad but unfortunately it’s always judge on their country.

I've been living in Canada for the last 10 years ( came here as an international student), and now applying for my permanent residency. Went through high school, post secondary, and now working a full-time job in my field of study. I would say it's long overdue for Canada to scale down on its immigration policies (yes, I've had this thought even when I was a student so anyone who thinks I switched teams can shut up). There are simply not enough houses to accommodate Canadian, let alone immigrants. A lot of them only work minimum wage jobs which neither help the country with shortages in other fields nor their careers in the long term, and overall it gives immigrants a bad rap in the eyes of Canadian citizen. The recent changes in immigration imo is a good first step in the right direction.\n\nEdit: Also I'd like to add that if you're leaving your own home country to join another for a better life, it's your responsibility to adapt and contribute to their society, not the other way around. If you can't do that, stay in your home country.

Can Canada not see how bad this is getting? Look at the United States, even in Mexico, too many immigrants, this mentality of “welcoming everyone” is causing more harm than good. North America is going to s#%t

I'll be honest while writing this! Being Indian i feel ashamed nowadays bcoz of Trudeau's love affair for Khalistani's. When i came here 6 years it was way better but in last 2-3 years Trudeau has literally dumped whole Punjab into Canada without any screening. This people from my own country don't speak English, don't wanna dress in a civil way, don't wanna act civil, shove their religious thoughts on everyone and feel as if they own everything. Yes me being an Indian says this and yes I've gad enough of this Punjabi's. I came to Canada for a different life but it looks like it's getting worse from bad.\n\nTaxing us till death, handing out welfare cheques to the entitled ones (natives) of this country and treating actual taxpayers like shit is insane. Sorry to say but if actual Canadians don't raise their voice now this people from Punjab will takeover in no time and will overpower you. My heart goes out for actual Canadians who built this country. \n\n\nAnyways much love from a good Indian who actually loves and respects Canada the way it is and not trying to change it ❤

1. A good student has no problem finding work or getting PR.\n2. One not good student will bring many relatives. Those people don't speak English, they are not respectful and polite. Their behaviour is very bad.\nThis kind of people destroyed the whole trucking industry.\nThey drive like in India and what they do on the roads is the reason why people don't want to drive trucks anymore. The salary for that is very low.\nI guess that gov. saw and revalued if they lost a few students or the whole industry.

So badly spoiled the country by bringing in too many immigrants and refugees. Many don't even know how converse in English, surprised they got high score in IELTs no system to check this. Local colleges earned money, end of the day many Indian students think no scope here. We need a good leader who just focus on welfare of people, not to do vote bank politics and spoil the relation with economically growing two big countries.

Canadian here, I dont think immigration is bad during times of calm and prosperity. As long as we have the ressources to integrate immigrants into society, there's no problem with it.\nBut let's say that these days, the world as a whole isn't in a very good state. We alrealy struggle to house and feed our canadians, we can't afford to take more people that will clog the crappy health system and the rare housing left. It's completely stupid. All those immigrants cant get a roof and a stable job and this creates violence and shit like that. It's weird cuz im normally on the center-left but im getting more and more on the right

People tend to give Justin Trudeau way to much credit for his deeds, good or bad. I have a feeling he is nothing but an employee to his bosses, which are not the canadian citizens. As far as Pollivere backtracking and supporting immigrants it's because we don't have any real right wing politicians with balls. Every party is liberal. They just pose as opposing parties. It's pathetic. You can't tap dance around things or tip toe through the tulips. You have to take the bull by the horns. It's so easy to get a citizenship here. Basically they've swapped the old candy and toy prizes in cereal boxes for a citizenship. You can just reach right in and grab your citizenship or better yet cut it out on the back of the box and your good to go. The thing is as well is they shouldn't even call themselves the liberals or democrats. They should call the parties the fake liberal and democrats or wannabe dictator party because they try and pick and choose who has democracy and it's basically the Muslim and Hindu community, LGBTQ, black lives matter, and now the Ukrainian community and their constantly adding new radical groups. But real Canadians have no democracy.

The real question is Canada vs Florida because the U.S. consists of many mini countries that have agreed on a common constitutional document and basic laws but otherwise are different countries. With that said Canada loses on every metric that matters to Florida. From economics to taxes to business to self defense and personal property Florida wins. The U.S. is secular but politicians of all nations will bring it up to some degree thinking this is somehow unique to the U.S. means you don’t understand the U.S. When it comes to political and religious diversity the U.S. has a larger population consisting of the entire world its by definition diverse. Canada doesn’t have sensible gun laws it just leaves those who can’t defend themselves at great risk.\n\nCrime is high in cities that have laws & culture closer to Canada than they do the U.S. Which have the strictest gun laws in the country. It’s bad politics & culture which are most similar to Canada that has resulted in higher crime rates. \n\nGun laws in the U.S. are for Americans to have the option to fight against a tyrannical government like we have scene in Canada with the truckers and mass freezing of bank accounts. That is what the right to bear arms was for first and foremost not just self defense. Canada ignores this entirely and instead has the perspective of give the government all the power and expect government to be “good” and act in good faith to the people which it has continually failed to do so. Canada has to bribe Quebec just to keep its country together something that has been an issue since the founding of Canada is parts of it breaking off due to tyrannical federal government power abuse.\n\nFreedom comes with risks but it’s always better to be free.\n\nPeople who leave the U.S. for Canada are doing so for political reasons otherwise they can leave their blue progressive crime filled cities for free cheap safe red states.\n\nI encourage all Canadians to search moving from Canada to Florida and you will find many Canadians that realized the American Dream. Which is still alive and well in states like Florida.

We cared so much about their suffering and wanted to help. We couldnt end the war in their countries so we offered them a safe place to share in our home (country) so they could build a life and live in peace. But just like when you feed a wild animal once they take it for granted and become aggressive when you cant give more. If you need shelter from war and someone offers you a safe place in their house or country its extremely selfish and bad manners to then keep going on about the war in the house or country that was offered to you in good wiil with only good intentions.

This immigrants are mostly from one indian state ie Punjab. In Punjab every young person just have to dream i.e. to move to Canada. Even Indians from other indian state dint want to live in Brampton anymore, Let me tell u most indians dont want to leave in isolated community but want to leave in mixed community with local people and adopting their culture. But ur Canadian govt policies and support towards khalistaani movement make many punjabi people to move to canada. South Asian Indians are fourth generation Canadians and are educated, successful and have assimilated with the European culture. The french lady should see Montreal, it is cool to see Indians, Chinese speaking French. Do you ask why there are too many Chinese in Chinatown? Sadly the new immigration are bad Trudeau policies that India wanted deported back. Others are temporary honest Indian students that are being ripped off by Canadian wrong policies of shameless cash grab. Assimilation for new immigrants could be something in common e.g. free classical piano lessons for everyone in school. Music and language is a great first step in communication. The drug problem has nothing to do with immigration, it is the result of their own culture of drug abuse and bad Canadian policies. I think it is sad that the woman seems to be so negative without realizing the she has to care and use her power for good by demanding that no Canadian should be on the streets, this is why ALL Canadians (especially include South Asian Indians) pay taxes. where is our money going? is not the Canadian Government responsible for the welfare of ALL Canadians? we were the peacekeepers. Wow any idea why people are crazy to enter canada bcoz standard of livibg is good in your country and any idea how much cost it occurs to stay and study in canada i am not good in conversions but lemme tell u its very very high people literally sell everything they have in india to go and study there now just assume why do people sell like crazy people just to study i mean think about it bcoz of PR they sell like crazy if they can invest that amount in india they can get a degree from good universities in india and good jobs but if the same amount is invested in canada the standard of living will improve by obtaining canadian citizenship now if u r sane person think about it its all about standard of living and its not crime to look for better life and at the start of applying in universities of canada a job and PR were available as options so indians applief there with that intention now if u change those rules overnight the money we invested is just thrown into dustbin and i dont know why people think its wrong things to even protest on that if u hate immigration that badly dont show ur anger on indians or other immigrants show that anger on ut government for showing us indians a better future and allowing us indians to enter ur country legally with PR in future prospect Nd why do u think even after such outrage on immigration canada yet allows immigrants bcoz its simple people spend like crazy for such oppurtunities and canada has taken advantage of that and now canadians like we got ur money so get out from our country wow i ddidnt know people can be this greedy and selfish.

I’m an international student from China and I never worked here. My Indian classmates ruined our final project. Wearing slippers for presentations and even cannot finish a simple website, my roommates are Indians as well, and they are all good. But some students they’re not come here to study, just for work. But just keeping the balance between study and work, will make other students have bad experiences. I also want to get the PR here, but it depends on my abilities and other factors. I love country music, K-pop, and pop Jazz, I watched a documentary about Canada before I came, and I was a volunteer at the London Air Show, Comic Con, Food Bank and Ronald Macdonald House. In addition, I also help the Church group make posters and videos. You come here is to integrate local culture and accept the rules and order, you can keep your own identity a features. Don’t forget you are a foreigner, you are the guest now.

Who said they don't want to go home? Canada invites international students with a promise to give them PR if they can finish school and qualify using one of the programs. I know because that's how I came to Canada. Unlike the US where it's hard to stay and you need a marriage, in Canada you can use a qualifying job. Usually people sponsored by family to get PR, as well as refugees, are put ahead of international students as well as those on work permits. \n\nIn the meantime, International students over-pay into post secondary, as well as working off campus and paying taxes, but are always last in line when it comes to being granted PR. The rules change so much so fast, it's easy to find yourself out of time and kicked out of the country. \n\nSo whoever watches this will be happy that International students are getting kicked out, but the problem with too much immigration won't be solved because the country is still taking in so many refugees. Right now it's international students getting the axe and are the scape goats in ths game. \n\nAlso, the reason why Canada takes in more immigrants beyond the obvious, is because they want to eventually do away with property rights. So while people can cheer kicking out international students, it doesn't prevent the inevitable from happening, because the politicians took in too many new people.. \n\nAnyway, good luck to everyone, from either side of this debate, it's bad news all around wharever the final outcome.

To everyone else with a problem with Islam please stop mistaking Sikhs for Muslims ffs, its embarrassing. They may have way to much patience for the worshippers of the feely prophet but they themselves in the vast majority are very good people. Diversity is great and that's how the country can benefit of great minds. However, those who come via fraudulent and forged documents do not deserve to be part of this great country. They corrupt and foster the crime in the country. Those fraudulent people once they settled, they root their bad culture in Canada. It is good to give opportunity for refugees but Canada should not be the dump dictators. Instead, Canada should invest in these countries politically and economically rather than own their problems indirectly. Canada needs a good immigration strategy that helps Canadians.

Although México isn't the greatest country, the part where i live (Near the center) is fairly safe, I've never been robbed or been involved in some cartel shit that you've heard of Mexico everyday (I'm 25 yo). The opportunity aren't the best either but aren't so bad...\nI mean, I've just finished the bachelor degree two years ago, I'm planning to buy a house with my girlfriend and making quick math we calculate it would take us about 3 - 4 years to save enough to buy one (Earning like 1200 USD monthly) taking in consideration that you can give yourself certain luxury's like hitting the road every weekend in motorcycle, visiting some places along the way, eating good food and stuff, with out sacrificing the rent or any basic necessities, then you remain with enough money for any emergency or urgent thing that comes out later.\nWatching this video makes me feel lucky of been here in Mexico even it isn't a very stable county i could say that the quality of life is fair enough (At least in the part where I am).\nSorry for you Canadian people... I hope you recover this crisis soon (I always wanted to visit that country)

R.I.P Good Ol' Brampton ! Tons of Fake Students with no intention to study or go back to their home country. Colleges in GTA and Halton/Niagara region are making money like crazy! Crime rate is sky rocketing, car jacking and stealing, and forced home entries and thefts are going crazy!! Thousands of fake students are committing crimes and threatening Canadians! Few other thousands stole tons of jobs from the real Canadians and high school students already! Even Niagara and Thorold / Wellend is screwed up and getting worst everyday by the same people! The Blame goes to Liberals & Justin T. First of all, send back all the fake students back to their country of origin! You'll solve more then 50% of the problem! I feel sorry for Canada already and liberals seems like not worried at all. Waiting for Conservatives so bad to come in power and deal with this already messed up issue otherwise, we all witnessed how REAL Canada and Ontario used to be till 2010 or so ... but not anymore. Thousands of people are already planning to move to Europe, Middle East, Australia, New Zealand already or already fled!

Finally, we have our first Black speaker. What does this say about us? It's a mixed bag of good and bad. It's a positive step forward, but it's also disheartening that it took so long to reach this milestone. However, let's not mistake this achievement as a sign that racism is no longer an issue in our country. We still have a long way to go in addressing systemic racism and fostering true equality, despite the progress we've made. Went to canada in 2005 ..... completed my masters in wireless....got honors...worked legally for 5 years ....applied for PR...with all legal.papers ....but got rejected and never given a reason..i felt so bad...and moved back to my home country (India )....worked in many major companies and became an expert in my field....travelled around the world happily..earnin and leisure...im happy canada rejected me...though the country is beautiful...it is makes everyone feel like a labor worker.....i feel privileged out of canada....God always gives best to good and honest people...

Good to know it's not just my country. We elected the same prime minister four times (or is the fifth now? idk, i don't count it at this point and don't follow politics) and the housing and food prices are as bad as in Canada. You can't even dream about buying a house without a loan, or without working for years in Austria or Germany. Regarding the food prices, I don't know the exact numbers, but I remember that when I was 18 (in 2018) one kilogram of bread was 0.77€. Now it's 2.32€. like wtf really.

Let's make Canada great again. Actually I'm kidding. Let's not go down that road. It's easy to poke holes, and cherry pick problems, much harder to appreciate the good things we have. Canada has problems for sure but every place does and we really don't have it so bad. Unreasonable expectations are just as big of a problem as high prices. If Vancouver is too expensive then go somewhere else. I did. Canada is a big place. Very big. There are loads of opportunities if you get out of the rut you are in and stop thinking that life owes you a certain lifestyle.

No, medical care is not good in Canada. Diagnostics are not good. Doctors never knew what is going on and don't seem to care. Italy and Germany are way better and have integrated understanding of medicine. ~ And, no, Canadians are not friendly but quite hostile and rude actually. I came here 30 years ago and it has gotten really bad in the last 10 years.

Stop bringing in immigrants then and then watch your economy crumble. Canada has no problem bringing in immigrants who work hard, do all the long haul trucking and work all the jobs etc people born in Canada don’t want to do. Blaming immigrants for problems is as old white supremacy and racism in this country. Our birth rate is much lower than the US and other western countries. I feel bad for people who are living on the street and hopeless. This isn’t only a Brampton problem this is a problem across the country. If there’s anything this video highlights it’s the low housing issue and the targets set by the government. \n\nThis country will always need immigrants to support it. The key is to make sure we have the infrastructure in place to support everyone and that’s not the fault of people aka immigrants who come to this country and are told life is good here. It’s a problem of city planners and politicians who aren’t doing their job properly.

It's kinda strange that at Ukraine in 2019 people voted for 'handsome good guy' with record breaking numbers at elections results and Canada in 2015 elected 'handome good guy'. I am still in touch with my university friends in Canada work at low wages on obsolete tech stuff, with no innovation at work. Many of them want to move to the US, but for 10+ years they worked on outdated stuff, so they cannot compete with the talent pool in US. Even in 2004, I remember healthcare being bad and I keep hearing stories about how worse it has become. In US, I am covered by a good health insurance, I had surgeries for myself and my kids, and we never had any issues. Honestly, I can no longer trust Canadian healthcare with insane wait times for my kids safety.

Private control over the means of production for endless profit growth is not sustainable and does not lead to justice and well-being for all. Canada is suffering late stage capitalism just like USA, but if USA has more 'productivity' that doesn't equate to health and well-being. I was expecting this video to show Indo-Canadians in a bad light. But it showed the exact opposite. As the journalist mentioned: White Bramptonians were mostly homeless and drug addicted and old. While the Indo-Canadian population was young, educated, well adjusted, optimistic, and temple going believers in God while having good family values

I don’t care which race you’re from or from which country you came from or how different is your look, I care about honesty, decency, discipline, good morals. But if your look is different, and you add bad habits, careless about others, then it becomes problematic
