The trouble with political commentators is they try to think like a politician? Trump is not a politician! So think like a businessperson, its the deal and what is the best deal for the USA. Every generation will have a very different life if they grew up in any metropolitan place. My grandfather came to Vancouver 1896. His family of five lived in garages while he built houses. No communication with the outside world. My father went to war in 1940's and experience things many will never see. He worked in Vancouver his whole life. My generation saw the first home computer, cell phone and color TV. and the internet was born. I was always taught hystory in school. My kids tell me , they don't know how people lived the last 100 years other than first nations people, and historical figures. Its not taught. They have no idea how people struggled to survive. My kids and their friends are fascinated by the pictures I have from the past 120 years in Vancouver. People now want everything. They are not willing to sacrifice life style. Even my own kids feel this way. Luckily i taught good values and work ethics to my 3 daughters , so they are very successful.

To live a life that can be looked back on with the knowledge that some of our decisions were wrong in their effects, but right in their intention of not selling ourselves short. I have seen so many news organizations trying to garner sympathy for people here illegally being deported. It's not working! The majority of Americans voted for this. I don't know why that's so hard for them to comprehend.

Here in California I have met many wonderful Indian nationals; however, many assist and support the concept of illegally immigrating to the US. One woman I know, from Delhi, married one guy then divorced him, and then within a year married and divorced another man. Does anyone care about the trauma and fact this is called grifting, basically criminal fraud for a green card. She was on her thrid target when I had to stop knowing her. There are allot of Indian nationals here involved with many shady businesses, doing crime here is acting as a parasite - something easy to do as people genuinely like Indian people. Also California now has anti caste discrimination laws, the only state in the US, that should tell you allot about their integrity.

I do feel sorry for those who were under temporary protection orders that should have just applied for citizenship as soon as possible and the majority would have got it .
