Why isn't our military lined up, completely armed and ready to shoot in situations like this? Plus less people could sneak in if we were lined up. This is what happens when the administration that we currently have get on TV and say how they want free housing, free food, free healthcare, free education for people who come into America. As a Canadian moving to the U.S, I can tell you for sure that Canada is a divided country headed for economic ruin. We lose at everything, we cannot build projects without unbearable red tape, approve any energy projects or really provide any economic value at this point. Canada is the only First world country that is headed backwards towards third world country status. I love this country, it has all the raw ingredients (Great people, Fun culture, Endless resources to extract) and we still manage to fail at the federal level. Take it from a born and raised Canadian who is being forced out of my own country.

This is terrible. Why can’t our government simply hire more people to process migrant applications? And why can’t the US do a better job of pushing back on dictators that ruin their own countries, like Venezuela? Or provide processing stations in other states and encourage migrants to travel their, or provide transport? I doubt that most people want to leave their own country if it was safe for them and their children. Surely better minds than Mine could find humane solutions. Maybe fast tracks no migrants with established relatives already in the US? Or migrants with skills (not necessarily money) but skills?

An important factor as always been for me the different of murders, mugging, rapes, theft, people killed by firearms each year up to 38 000 a year in the US, add other types of weapons, and many more. In Canada we have clean water, lakes everywhere, we have so much more good timber for building, land for farming etc. The cost of health care in the US and schools can easily ruin them, their parents and families. Canada health care is mostly free for everyone, although seemed slow by many, but is it slow or are they worried to see a doctor to realize nothing is wrong with them ?? Going to see a doctor for a cold, a bad night sleep etc are not really worth a doctors time or theirs. The education system in Canada educate their citizens, watching Youtube videos about Americans being asked common questions like : Which 2 countries border the USA?? Sadly most are morons and think it is Europe and France LOL Parents and children's have a way better time when they give birth and spending time with their families ;-) You might get better pay in the US, but then you have to worry about getting shot, robbed or killed, get your car or stolen, house broken into etc. Plus add all the scammers and scams in the USA, that citizens, non citizens and politicians and city officials and even cops do, no thank you.

I listened to your chat. I did not appreciate some of your reasons for why people leave Canada. First of all life is what you make it. There are lots of things to do if you are interested in being active. Canada is a very beautiful country and there are lots of places to visit and enjoy. \nYou need to educate yourself about what people are paid in the US and Canada. The minimum wage is a lot higher in Canada. I suggest that you leave Canada and then you will appreciate what a wonderful country we live in. Go to Trinidad for example and buy groceries ...pay over a thousand dollars a week for food, then tell me that food is too expensive in Canada. (25.00 for a box of cereal)!Go to a hospital there and you will wait for a whole day just to be seen. Yes, we have a shortage of medical doctors and nurses here, but they are trying to fix that. Sure we pay taxes, but if you or someone in your family needs a heart transplant, a knee replacement or whatever, you will get it FREE in the hospital, and while you are in the hospital, your bed will have sheets and pillow cases. Drive your car on the roads in Trinidad and the potholes will ruin your tires, not to mention the frame of the car. Your taxes also maintains parks, roads and bridges for the safety and enjoyment of everyone. The government has no control over the weather, so complaining that it is too cold or rainy is up to mother nature. During the lockdown I am sure you received money from the government to help you, everyone did. Do you think other countries paid their people money to help them get through this crisis?? NO!\nI love Canada, it has been good to me and I never regretted emigrating here 42 years ago. I go traveling to other countries and I see how other people live and I am happy to come home. No reasonably intelligent , thinking Canadian, says that healthcare is “free”. So stop misleading people. The actual truth is that healthcare in Canada is covered by the taxation system and is “ universal” meaning every citizen is covered for most services and for necessary treatments and surgeries. Elective procedure such as having a boob job , for the most part are not covered, nor should they be. Furthermore, most thinking people acknowledge that the system is not perfect, and is often strained by those irresponsible people who abuse it. Higher taxes are the price we pay to feel confident that in the event of necessary hospitalization or treatment, we need not fear financial ruin and or bankruptcy as is quite common in the US for example. Nothing is free unless you believe in the tooth fairy and Santa Claus. Think before you speak.

I wish yall would try with racism on Homeless people. Im Homeless, and yet i get messed with. My friend is Black im White, him and i went to an apt. Rental place a year ago were both on disability. We said we were looking for a two bedroom. They told us we dont help people on disability look for an apt. They said we couldnt afford it anyway. Plus transunion eqafax, experian, ruined my life . I was working sense i was 15 years old i had Emaculate credit, they destroyed it. Your Bank was your credit now theirs these three nightmare companies, that keep doing it. I also paid people to fix it but it happened again and again. Now i cant get an apt or car those companies that help you with credit that isnt even yours because my idendtity was stolen. Those companies work with transunion, equafax, experian. It makes me sick !!

I used to live in Brampton and this is the city where I first landed. No hatred for the city but people have ruined it. I'm a brown guy myself so I can't be racist against my own people and tbh, some of the best people I know in Canada are Sikhs but even they accept the fact that there is a large number of bad apples in their community. Sikhs have played a major part in both positive and negative way, to make and break this city.\n\nInsurance scams in Brampton cost their citizens to pay one of the highest premiums in the country. Generally, drivers in Brampton have no fuckin' idea how to drive because the licences were literally bought. \n\nA large number of people of our brown community always hell bent on abusing the system, wherever they go. We bring the same back home mindset here in Canada rather follow the system. \n\nThe only thing mostly brown community is focused on is how to make money and that's all. So I'm in a dilemma of whether I should move down to Florida and live with my American girlfriend, or stay up here and support her moving up here in Canada. My main issue is health care. I just hear many people have bad service and poor treatment with insurance down there, but it all depends what insurance your applying with. People are fairly nice, but there are also some douche bags as well so I'm not surprised. With my overall budget, I could likely stay down there for about a few months or so. Here in Canada, taxes are a little higher, but it's worth it (Some idiot said our taxes are lower), health care is paid for, winters are cold but anyone can survive through it. Some say Canada is a socialist (which is Not -_-). Liberal party is ruining Canada as it is in a way. But again, it's better Justin than Trump. (Betting for Scheer).
