As an American, the saddest thing is I now have to root against America. It seems sad that it took an action such as the one the US government had to do, to make Canada realize that we should work together as provinces and as people. The problem as I see it, is that responding in kind to Trump like this is possibly to invite an invasion, justified by Trump claiming that Canadian assets are essential to US national security. Im Canadian....not that I agree with the tariffs, but this POS Trudeau has shut down government the last 2 months. Nothing is getting done.
