just funny how indian immigrants are so hated when they paid 5x the school fees to come here and study and work. Meanwhile refugees and asylum seekers get free housing, access to social benefits and nobody even notices. what a world.

Who all has read the Washington Post study about how illegals are supporting the dairy industry? Who is going to work split shifts, 8 hours apart for 3-4 hours each shift, walking in hip-deep mud and cow sh_t in knee-high boots, on cow farms, away from actual cities? I think every Republican who's on about this should go work on a dairy farm. They are clueless about reality and the economic repercussions of it. No one wants to pay $30 for a gallon of milk.

A functioning immigration system must remove illegal aliens
\n
\nRecent disclosures by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that hundreds of thousands of criminal immigrants are at large in the United States raise the question of why the Biden-Harris administration isn’t doing more to remove them. Increasing deportations is a necessary part of fixing what Vice President Kamala Harris refers to as “our broken immigration system.” She is right to describe it that way. But the administration in which she serves was the one to break it, not least by impeding ICE deportations.
\n
\nCurrently, about 1.3 million aliens under final orders of removal — those who have received due process and been ordered deported — are on ICE’s “non-detained docket” of 7 million individuals. These individuals include criminal aliens, whom Congress has directed ICE to detain and remove. But ICE can’t remove many of them because they’re from so-called recalcitrant countries — nations that refuse to provide the U.S. government with the travel documents it needs to facilitate the return of their nationals. The Supreme Court has held that, with only narrow exceptions, even detained criminals due to be deported must be released after six months absent a “significant likelihood of removal in the reasonably foreseeable future.” If ICE can’t get their travel documents, there’s no likelihood of removal.
\n
\nFortunately, Congress gave the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) a tool to force recalcitrant countries to comply. Unfortunately, the Biden-Harris administration won’t use it. Under section 243(d) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), once DHS notifies the State Department that a foreign country “denies or unreasonably delays” the return of its nationals, the secretary of state must “order consular officers in that foreign country to discontinue granting immigrant visas or nonimmigrant visas, or both,” to nationals of that country. The George W. Bush and Obama administrations used that authority sparingly, each restricting visa issuance to just one country in order to force compliance. As my colleague Mark Krikorian recently noted, “Trump made much wider use of it, and got results.”\nSOURCE, CENTER FOR IMMIGRATION STUDIES

Didn’t some Indian billionaire have a huge weeding in India way can’t he spread his wealth around ? we don’t need more Indians in Canada we have more then enough already my parents came to Canada in the 70s for there dr degree and had good jobs know people coming to study don’t really study just us it as a loop hole that’s the real problem. And they all go to Brampton Trudeau messed up immigration big time. The numbers of immigrants coming in is to high. They should have did this 10 -20 years ago to little to late. We don’t need more Uber drivers. It’s going to take years for the numbers to go down the houses are still to high things are to expensive

Good information. All international students and temporary workers should go back to their home countries. Our Canadian residents and students are suffering due to lack of jobs availability for them. International students must leave after their studies are completed. If they don’t leave then they must be deported immediately.

So I am just wondering if it's okay to move there or not because I have to start from scratch in Germany too.\nCan you please suggest me.\nWhen I was in India', I have been watching your videos since then, and your information, your knowledge, acknowledged me. It will be very helpful if you suggest me.\nThanku

Please leave we don't have enough homes, jobs and hope here. Don't even think of coming here. It's not the same as before 2018. It's sickening to see what's happening to our streets. Also, if you are planning to come to Study, then do that and leave. Don't seek asylum. Not only will you lose connection to your home in India but you will not find peace. Worst decision ever.

the main concept of any foreign govt giving permanent residency is whether you fulfil the need for them, so this is good for people who have some skills and can positively contribute but anyone who just wants to go for the sake of going there is not going to get anything , they better study and then return .. this is nothing different from UK, its very hard to get Tier 2 visa in UK unless your job is in shortage or in the occupation list but the difference is that Canada has been very lenient in the past allowing people clearing just 10 years of schooling also getting student visas, this has not happened in UK as people come to study bachelor's or master when they have completed full 12+ years of schooling in their home country.. may be it was needed then in Canada but now its not the same case..so if govt is taking this step its first in the interest of the local people including the ones who have gained citizenship with proper procedure..

Canada and western nations must stop interfering in the economic and political issues of India e.g. JT's direct involvement in Farmers agitation in India through Canadian Khalistanis, affecting agricultural reforms in India. Canada has become safe heaven for Indian plane hijackers and Canadian Khalistanis terrorists, who are openly threatening Indian Airlines in media. Canada's financial support to NGOs, who are against NRC bill brought for the deportation of 20 million illegal Bangladeshi and Rohingya in India. Canada's financial support to opposition parties of India who brought 50% reservation policy for particular castes and minorities in colleges and jobs left other 50% to study abroad, despite of better performance in studies.

Indian students are boycotting Canada and they decided to study in the US instead
|
| 2024-10-31 | 0 |
This protest is a joke! They know what they signed up for before coming to Canada. So, they should work within the rules and find a way to legally settle (if they can) or leave. \n\n\nHowever, Canadians deserve to know more about this mess which is an outcome of aggressive marketing by Private colleges and the government's greed to get quick cash into the Canadian economy. Here are some clarifications to note:\n\n\n1. In the last six years, 1.5 million international students brought a minimum of $67,500,000,000 direct cash into the Canadian economy. (Assuming a min $40-45000 per student for 2 year diploma, between to $100,000 - 150,000 for undergrad, and around $50,000 for Masters degrees). Usually, international students have to pay most of this money before applying for the study visa. \n\n\n2. These colleges employ Canadians for their day to day operations. From cleaning, maintainance, administration to teaching, each college operates with approx 20-30million budget. So, more students lead to more employment for Canadians who further pay taxes.\n\n\n3. All students start work straightaway, pay taxes, and do not qualify for social security. They do not qualify for any student loans by Canadian govt or banks. So, they generate revenue for Canada through their work and taxes. The thing that govt LOVES.\n\n\n4. These students become new consumers and their expenditure generate revenues for local businesses.\n\n\n5. Most Colleges would not survive without international students. Which is good in the sense that only quality colleges will survive and other hanky panky colleges would shut down. However, such closures will lead to job losses, bankruptcy when the colleges won't be able to afford their expenses.\n\n\nSo, considering these factors it will be an industry collapse. Govt needs to control immigration. They need to introduce intelligent policies. The steps that current govt is currently taking are politically motivated not rational.

It's not just the Government alone, The Universities, Colleges, Training Centres and their recruiting agents are all part of this legally organized crime. They all make money when the students are coming and the fact is these students know the education level in Canada won't help them get a decent job when they return back to their own country. The fact is International students from India are visible because they come in mass numbers. The International students from countries also come to study and they are also given PR's but is not visible due to their numbers. It's the Governments job to make sure and have it in written format that any International student coming for study has to go back and then reapply for a job if available. Also the Visitors, Parents or relatives should be dealt the same way.

Why Indians want to migrate to other countries to get insulted, degraded ... in the long run this will affect your mental health as you realize that the wider society hates you. Stay in India, be with relatives, attend family functions such marriages, etc and have lot of laughter and fun... and do work and study hard in India, which is now the fastest growing economy in the world.

First teach your kids to atleast complete high school. The statistics of white kids dropping out of high school is so high and yet they complain of stealing jobs. And the few children who do complete high school won't even go to college or do their post grad. And the ones who actually go until that level will study in ivy league colleges that too in the US. And those kids will never come back to Canada and work after that. They will get a job in US itself. So stop complaining that Indian students steal jobs when they are the only ones available for those jobs that require a college or post grad qualification.

It's a mute anyway. A recent study found that it would cost billions to effect trumps deportation plan. Currently American hope 40000 detainees and each deportation costs a ridiculous amount of money for the logistics alone.....it won't happen. All done of this before the impact of losing cheap labour, on businesses and the economy

I agree with the woman talking about adapting to the culture in the country you’re in. ABSOLUTELY CORRECT but do note that these Indians are not coming for free, on average close to 90,000 Indian Students come to Canada to study with an average 2 year program, and each one of them spends at least CAD 40,000 for each year! Now if you do the math they inject about 3.6 Billion dollars every year! Which makes International student one of the top 10 source of revenue for Canada! That is the hard reality check for anyone who thinks these Indians in Canada are all undeserving people.....they just compete better than most white Canadians in their home ground whilst quite literally in every stretch there are more facilities available to Native Canadians then there are for the people of international origin: International students' annual spending directly and indirectly contributed CAN$7.4 billion in tax revenue for the Canadian government. The study is based on study permit data from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2022, as well as data from Languages Canada to capture short-term students.

You do know, that while Canada already been giving the Skilled Workers the preferential treatment fir decades, many of the Doctors, Engineers, Nurses, etc are unable to get a job of their training, bc they must write expensive, long exams! \n\nIf they had been out of the University for years, this is not easy to do! They need to support their families, study again and save Thousands of $$$ to pay for and write these exams! Canada makes it difficult for them to work in their field! \n\nThey receive many promises from the Canadian Immigration Department, which often does not deliver! A valid example, those with the Master’s Degrees, too often, receive only the Bachelor Degree equivalency in Canada, despite the promise of their degrees and experience in the field to be honoured! It’s an unjust and an unfair system! An Engineer driving a Taxi! Many, many such examples! \n\nThat’s why many highly-educated immigrants are working as taxi drivers, delivering food, or in under -educated jobs, etc! I met a hospital Medical Lab Tech, who was a Doctor in his birth country!! Another immigrant was a Lab Tech working as a Lab Assistant! Still, another immigrant with a Master’s Degree and experience in the Medical Cancer Research working as a Lab Assistant! \n\nThe bills don’t wait until they write the new exams, save the required money and qualify, etc!!

If you’re navigating the permanent residency (PR) process for Canada, Australia, or Germany, preparing for winter and understanding residency requirements are key aspects of your transition. Canadian winters are particularly harsh, with temperatures frequently dropping below 0°C, while Australia and Germany offer a range of climates. Picking the right winter jacket can make a big difference, especially when moving to regions with unpredictable weather. This guide covers essential insights on winter preparation and the PR process for Canada, Australia, and Germany.
\nPreparing for Winter
\nWhen considering permanent residency in Canada, Australia, or Germany, understanding climate differences is crucial. Whether you're working with Canada PR consultants, Australian PR consultants, or Germany PR consultants, preparation for varied climates will help ensure a smoother transition. Here’s what to keep in mind:
\n1.\tExpected Temperatures: In Canada, cities like Vancouver are milder with wet winters, while Toronto faces colder, often icy conditions. Regions in central and northern Canada have extreme lows, such as -19°C in Regina during January. Germany has varied winter climates, while Australia’s milder winters can still feel chilly in certain regions.
\n2.\tChoosing the Right Jacket: For newcomers, warm, waterproof, and windproof jackets are essential for Canadian winters. Parkas, puffer jackets, and wool coats are ideal for different climates across Canada, Germany, and Australia. Parkas offer heavy insulation and water resistance, while puffer jackets are versatile and suited for layering. Wool coats add style but lack water resistance, making them suitable for drier German winters.
\n3.\tTypes of Insulation: When relocating, especially through global talent streams in Canada, Australia, or Germany, picking jackets with appropriate insulation—down for warmth or synthetic for water resistance—is recommended for your first winter abroad.
\n4.\tBudget Considerations: Budget options start at around $50, while high-end brands such as Canada Goose or Arc'teryx offer premium options for harsh winters. Mid-range choices from brands like The North Face provide a balance between quality and cost.
\nNavigating the PR Process and Requirements
\nEach country has unique pathways and requirements for permanent residency. Consulting with professionals who specialize in Canada immigration, Australia immigration, or Germany immigration can streamline the process, especially if you're applying from India or seeking a provincial nomination (like BCPNP or MPNP for Canada).
\n•\tCanada PR Process: Canada offers various pathways for PR, including express entry, provincial nominee programs (e.g., BCPNP, MPNP, NBPMP), and spousal sponsorship. These programs have specific criteria, such as work experience, language proficiency, and educational qualifications. Consultants can guide you through each step, from document preparation to application submission.
\n•\tAustralia PR Process: Australia's PR pathways, like the Skilled Migration Program, allow skilled professionals to work and live in Australia. The Global Talent Stream in Australia also targets specialized talent in fields such as tech and medicine, easing the immigration process for qualified individuals.
\n•\tGermany PR Process : Germany offers options like the EU Blue Card and employment-based visas, making it possible for skilled workers to obtain residency. Consultants can assist with the application process and explain requirements like work contracts and proof of language proficiency.
\nStudying and Working Abroad
\nCountries like Canada, Australia, and Germany provide work and study opportunities for immigrants, making it easier to gain local experience. Programs for study and work facilitate cultural adjustment and open pathways to PR. Immigration consultants can help identify the best routes to achieve your career and residency goals, whether in education, employment, or both.
\nImmigrating to a new country means facing unique challenges, from adapting to climate to understanding immigration requirements. Proper winter attire ensures you stay comfortable as you settle in, and expert immigration advice helps navigate complex residency processes. With the right preparation, you can embrace your new life abroad with confidence.

Canadians can't get jobs at McDonald's tim hortons anywhere because they're taking it all ? they claim to come to study but end up staying

The damage is already done, and if you live in Vancouver you know what I mean. Before it was just restricted to neighborhoods. Now entire cities/municipalities are overrrun with ethnic minorities becoming enclaves, where you don't even feel like you're in Canada anymore. In particular, the amount of Chinese and Punjabi's the Trudeau government has let in is astounding. Nobody speaks English anymore. Its insane! They've completely taken over. This has effected housing costs and availability. There is now a job shortage, a health care crisis and vehicle traffic that doesn't let up until after 8pm. Only thing left to do at this point is cancel all study and work permits and if you don't have your PR card, then you leave!

It is imperative to halt the surge of immigrants to Canada and the rise of deceptive tourism, especially since many individuals are primarily interested in seeking asylum rather than pursuing academic studies. They tend to opt for business management programs, which are the least expensive and allow for quicker entry, disregarding the true purpose of education. Some provinces have started to monitor the influx of international students from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and the Middle East. Furthermore, tourists from these nations often fail to return home. In a similar vein, the United States has introduced a $4,000 charge for tourists, which is refunded when they depart back to their homeland.

They also taken over our post secondary /university position. But today Ontario with 18% acceptance of international students to medical school (of course they went back to their countries to practice, leaving us short of family doctors) has now ban this practise to medical schools. Hopefully other provinces. will do the same. There are many of young Canadians who want to study medicines who couldn’t get in. My friends daughters had to go to Caribbean’s and UK to study and eventually has to stay there because they met their partners there and also could not convert their degrees to return to Canada. Canada only accept 400 out of 1400 doctors to come back here per year.

Immigration/International students ain't free. 4 times more money is paid to study here from International students in comparison with Canadians. Unfortunately, this was a clear, greedy demonstration of money erger. Now, immigrants are subject to xenophobia!

This is not enough...it should be reduced to 50% atleast. And all the indian students coming here on student visa r not here for studies but for PR. If there is no PR for them than they won't come
