Parents in India encourage their children to go to foreign countries in the hope of becoming rich! They calculate the U.S. dollar by the Rupee at 1 dollar @ Rs. 86! These Parents are foolish and ignorant! I've visited India many times! These foolish parents always ask me how much dollars I make! STUPID! \nI have no sympathy !

It is indeed becoming more and more tiresome and all countries should shun the practice of demanding advance reservation of flights and hotels before applying for a visa. Indians are travelling more and spending more and these countries are just lining their pockets with illogical procedures. India is becoming a failed country

They don't even follow road rule. Look at Bronco hockey team got killed by one of those so called driver. Our roads are more dangerous than before. Class 1 driver for sale from those particular group instead of really learn to become a real driver. The problem with the way things have become here is that now people that have immigrated legally to Canada and are citizens are now becoming targets of hate and violence. I agree that once the visa is expired people need to go and honor what they signed for. We are also punishing those people who have done nothing wrong. This is really scary to see in our country. And I'm pretty sure that India has a lower rejection rate compared to many other countries. It is the sheer volume of applications that contribute to this. Even 1% rejection on 100k Indian visas is a 1000 rejected visas. While a less populous country may have 10% rejection out of 1000 visas which is 100 rejections. So, in % terms, India fare well despite having higher rejections.\nFiring shots at Kosovo, Cuba and B Faso is a cheap shot and unnecessary to push the point of passport rank. All countries have a right to determine who they allow into their country with lower restrictions. And they are under no obligation to open the gates to anyone. It is also common knowledge that the newer cohorts of Indian immigrants to the West are a bad representation of Indian society (best example - Canada). Hence the rising anti Indian Immigration stance. Immigration is a privilege and not a right. I hope that the Indian community understands that the visa rejections are a lesson and not an insult, and that they learn from this and become better ambassadors when they go overseas.

First of all why there is craziness to visit abroad. Let western nations come and beg for indian visas. We have everything in our mother land. Ofcourse, we have our own problems like traffic and pollution,etc but every other nation has their own set of problems as well. IT is the root cause for this problem time and again. Believe or not because of the behavioural issues also become one reason for rejection. Maybe not a big reason but it definitely should consider. Any immigrant who enters to a country must obey the rules and policies, respect others, environment, culture etc. in Canada from some cities other nations are moving out out due this people are trying to make here as their country in all aspects. The EU is becoming more xenophobic because of their immigration crisis. This is not specifically against Indians. The rejection rates rise also for African countries, Turkey, Russia, Central Asian and other countries. The only exception is the countries that agree to align fully their foreign and internal policies with Brussels (the new European colonies also known as the EU candidates).

The way to travel around would be to become refugee.\n\nCanada, uk, europe take lakhs of refugees every year without even security check, but if common , hard working person wants to go to destination especially through proper channel, they have to give evidence of educational background, financial statements, clear TOEFL, gre exams etc. , fill tedious forms, stand in long queues out of their embassies. I worked in India for 6 years and then shifted abroad for a Masters, and now I am pursuing a fully funded PhD. In the UK, what I have observed is that the crop of students arriving from India are by the day lesser inclined towards studies and more in pursuit of the quick buck. Yes, getting a ‘UK based work experience’ is necessary to build the edge to compete against the wider international students post graduation and I have myself worked part-time in profiles which complimented my course in parallel to prioritising studies. However, the increasing trend amongst the masses (I do not want to generalise but yes this is unfortunately true and especially from certain states, the case is magnified: Read Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana) remains getting that student visa to earn quick buck to support themselves financially, chiefly, save up to dole out to so called ‘assignment writers’ which helps them pass the course to further graduate and transfer to a grad visa (again comes at a cost) which allows them 2 years worth of stay with no working hour stipulation post graduation. Thereon, work full time in laborious jobs with again not focussing on applying to full time opportunities in the field of study. Thus, what remains at the end of the day is lost time and opportunity and since I am only talking of people who come here on a Student VISA so primarily, the opportunity cost lost to upskill and further horizons. For the country’s perspective, getting cheap, skilled labour for an unskilled job is obviously an advantage but then there are cases of students not respecting their working hour restrictions, vandalising, bickering loudly, joining hands with the already operating extremist forces which instigate violence and hatred etc. In all, I think the resistance to not becoming bicultural which is a product of serious mental and physical toil and wasting time in frivolity is the main cause of the anti-immigration wave.

First of all . I am an Indian living in Australia. \n1. The way some of us are behaving in these countries is the worst . Instead of respecting their culture and laws, we start behaving in the same way as in India .\n2. I don't want to put it out, but some people from certain places have a ready solution even if the immigration change their rules . They know every means to cheat their way in. \n3. Take, for example, 200 people come from other countries and do nonsense in India. Will we allow them ?
